Really? Its one of the mostly poorly recieved k-originals and people aroud the globe mostly made fun of it because…
Well... other than a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes from critics, its audience ratings even here on MDL are pretty average, if not better than many, "popular" shows.
7.6? that's pretty low, idk if I should watch it :/
Yeah, you shouldn't really base whether to watch or not on the ratings here at MDL or elsewhere. Best way is to watch the first episode yourself and see if there's something you might like.
Not really live up to my expectation but still entertaining. Joo Woojin unexpectedly gives the best perfomance.…
Yoo Yeonseok is hot and all, but his English was definitely not. Sorry.
And i agree about the horrible CGI of all those planes. Thankfully the episode was exciting enough that it didn't take away from what was happening, imo.
absolutely gripping till the end. but anyone who watched till the end, whats the last scene ? can anyone mention…
Agent Changho visits Ingu six months after he went home. The NIS won't be paying Ingu the promised cash, but they instead offer two karaoke bars that are managed by the NIS so Ingu can make the money that way. Ingu turns down the offer as he doesn't want to go back to that kind of business.
Changho relays a message to Ingu from Pastor Jeon who wants the autographed baseball back. Ingu always thought it was a fake, but it turns out that it's actually a real autograph. Which is why Pastor Jeon actually really cherished it.
I interpret that final shot to mean Ingu could basically sell that autographed baseball and get the money that the NIS promised him/the money he lost because of Jeon. So happy ending for him and his family.
Finally a Netflix Original with a satisfying ending lol
Taking other Netflix Korean Originals into account, I honestly fully expected Ingu to either end up dead or end up taking over Pastor Jeon's position as the kingpin. Quite refreshingly, neither happened and we actually got a happy, closed-ended ending for once. lol
I didn't get the last scene with the ball. can somebody explain?
Actually I think it's more that since the autograph is real, Ingu can sell the baseball for a lot of money which could basically equal what Agent Chang Ho had promised him from the NIS, but won't give him anymore.
Just finished it. It´s worthy to be watched to be clear (unlike Money Heist imo), with the combination of high…
The Seo Kang Joon-starrer "Grid" on Disney+ is another Western-style series. Perhaps not the theme, but the way it is presented. The story and execution is like an American series that is meant (hoped) to last more than one season. While seeing high concept series like this are nice, I think the allure of K-dramas is that they aren't like Western series. But I also understand what you are trying to say in terms of content as well.
Kim Minchul will star here! Looking forward to seeing him in a lead role! Since it's a KBS Drama Special, you can be sure it'll be of high quality. Can't wait!
