this drama has a better production and directing than all the high budget studio dragon stuff we got this year. really enjoying the ride so far, even if the time travel-communication trope has been used a bit too much in korean dramas and movies
This was bound to happen anyways. Dramas are more and more aiming for the global market, so they would probably change to become just like tv series around the world. So I always knew someday we'd start getting shorter series and/or a season format. And even if they don't go the "season" way, 8 episodes can be REALLY memorable. If you don't think so, you probably haven't watched stuff like HBO shows or most premium tv shows around the world.
that's it. nothing really happened. everyone was just vibing for 16 episodes.
or maybe SO MUCH happened that it made us all think nothing happened. I mean. Hyejun was in like 10 dramas and films during this. How many years did this plot last?
I still gave this a 4/10 as the old-school drama production was kinda nostalgic
On episode 3 right now and I love it, except...Do drama writers have something against mothers? Starting with…
To be honest most dramas don't even touch on such social issues, so when you see a drama covering it as much as this one is doing, it's already a hell of an improvement.
It's kinda funny and quirky but is that... no.. I can't believe it...NOOO NOT ANOTHER STUDIO DRAGON SUBWAY SPECTACLE!!!! By the end of all these dramas we'll be all owners of subways to satisfy our intense consumerist craving!!!
It's not that surprising that people who didn't like this only feel they've space to share it now that the comment box is empty lol. There are like 10 thousand reviews saying it's the best thing ever. Let some of us dislike it, come on.
Although I'm usually not a fan of Netflix productions in the west, I love that Netflix for Korea means a way for them to avoid all the typical and tired Korean drama tropes and try to do an actual weird show like this. I've been waiting for something like this for years!
