I really wish they would have said more on ep 3 about autism being a spectrum. if that's true then are these critics…
No, it was autistics who said they felt upset. some people felt upset by Young woo, but more the character in ep3, because that is the most common type of portrayal of autistics, and it is a harmful stereotype. However some people were defensive as they knew people who hard the traits as the man in ep3. However some autistics and those involved with the community, didn't want to be represented by an individuals with childish/cute mannerisms because it seemed cute, and through being called cute adult autistic often feel infantilised and looked down on. Its their experience, so try not to invalidate them.
I really love this show, i saw a tiktok critizing this show for making Young Woo cute as being called cute is infantilising for autistic people, and how autistic people don't have to extraordinary. I am not trying to invalidate how autistic people feel about this show, but personally, I felt that the show highlighted how mature she is and was clear that autisim is a spectrum. However I can see why people felt upset about her mannerism seeming "cute" in the first 2 eps mainly. Personally i think it would be nice if the show highlights in one of the eps that the, being autistic is cute idea, is harmful to the community.
It wasn’t engaging as the other cases but still a very good ep. I like that it highlights not every case YW…
Really? personally i loved this episode, it was realistic and showcased well the difficulties autistic people face with body language and being looked down on. I really loved this case, because of the the fact that she faced her own struggles with her moral ethics. Also that letter on the wall was amazing.
I saw a lot of people being upset at Yumi's lack of growth. In this season I think that it was more about Yumi building her courage to follow her dreams as a writer, even though she struggled a lot. Also, being around Babi changed her and she learnt from him. Secondly, people are saying that she is high maintence and insecure. Personally i disagree, she never asked for too much, all she wanted was to be loved by the person she loves. She wanted them to be supportive and have enough emotional intelligence to understand her perspective. Is that truly too much to ask for?
I really hope she doesn't end up with either of the boys. Wung has achieved a lot, and he is beautiful, but at the end of the day, just because she curenntly forgets why her relationship ended with Wung, it doesn't mean she should get back together with him. If they date agian, the same issues that Wung had would pride would just return. Him being successful doesn't change who he is, also even though he knows what he did wrong, it doesn't mean he will be better. Yumi deserves better than the both of them
a bad kinda mad or good kind, it the bad kind for me.
Woah calm down, did i say i hate her? no. I said i didnt like her. The character was disgustingly cute, it was not my thing. I like the actress tho, but the character was not interesting in anyway, she was boring
Does anyone know why editor in chief's cells look like adults whereas Yumi's and all the other characters are…
I think they may mimic their appearance, all the of the people have been youthful individual, but the editor's appearance seems quite old in comparison to Yumi, Babi and Wung. This my theory, i may be wrong
