Probably XK, but does it matter?
Yep! that kind of nonsense should stay in the Weibo world and international fans like us should ignore it or call out the bs. I’d rather my fav act in an ensemble or supporting role in a production that is solid than be first billing in a mediocre drama.

Because she’s an actress and these dramas that she chooses to act in is her portfolio. If the director and script is not good, it also affects the cast, since they are part of the production crew. If all her dramas are not well received critically, do you think audiences would ever take her seriously as an actor? I adore her, but she still needs a hit drama, one that is well received, and it’s not going to come from LOFG. I hope her future choices will give her the recognition she deserves, but again, she has to choose projects that has a stronger script, which I think she’s doing with YOC and RDS.

Billing position is one of those things in c-ent that I truly think holds back the industry. It limits an actor’s options and then fans use it to create wars and attack each other. I just wish people choose projects based on quality of script rather than anything else.

It’ll definitely bring her something, cause the reaction to that drama has been so polarizing 😂

Is this true in your home, with your family? What plot do you think should be followed: action, martial arts,…
Is this some sort of riddle?

a comment section filled of skulls where brain-eating bacteria would starve, respectfully.
Haha I need to use this line from now on. I think they are trolls, because ain’t no way people are that empty up there.

I was really caught off guard. I didn’t know about this drama until I checked Zhou Ye’s profile here. Almost…
It’s been super secretive. Not even an official announcement, so unless you like the leading actors and actively follow them, you wouldn’t have heard much about it.

Remind me since I don’t remember but did she know that the prince took away CZs maid and the circumstances?
Valid point, but I think it would be kinda unfair to put all that burden on her. And maybe if the author expanded more on the relationship between all the women, there would be more of a reaction to their demise. But I see where you’re coming from.

Aw I understand, when you like something of course you don’t want people to criticize it. Just remember, you can’t control what other people do, but you can control your reaction. You can go on to XHS, there are a lot of fans of the show there and you can use the translate button. It’ll take your mind off one bad review.

I totally forgot about author's note. hahaIt makes sense. I guess Jiyang battle took reference from the Battle…
That’s why I laugh when people criticize this drama for not focusing more on military. The author of the novel admitted to not knowing much about war 😂

And again, AvenueX slaughtered LOTFG so badly in her review video 😑
It’s a drama that has shortcomings, so I can see why reviewers might not like it. But it’s ok as long as you like it and it’s doing pretty well in terms of ratings so there’s definitely as audience out there for this type of drama.

Because she wants to. And idk maybe because all the men in her family tried to kill her? Also sowing and cooking…
Comments like this are illogical and boring. I want women who are complex characters and not one dimensional figures.

Listen, I can’t help you if you have no reading comprehension skills. This drama is saying all skill sets regardless if they are traditionally feminine or not is important in society. If you think that is illogical then that’s on you.

I was upset they changed the settings of this arc (naval battle) until I saw someone on X saying that it's actually…
The author used a lot of historical references for her battle scenes and she admits it. So yeah, I feel like if they filmed it how it was in the novel, there will be a lot of petty cnets talking crap online.

Who says romance is dead..
Her sowing skills are brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before.

So a drama has to be about restaurants to have a cooking scene? Be for real. The setup is that she taught these women that they could be more than what is expected of them in a traditional society. They in turn are trying to teach her what is considered traditionally feminine skills. These women are learning from each other. She’s taking that skill to use it on someone who is always there for her and who she likes. If that sequence is a problem, why are you even watching an idol period drama?
