You can tell the actors tried their best and really cared for the characters they played. I think the drama will have solid viewership mainly because the storyline is fun. But for a drama to really stand out nowadays, they need a really strong writer and creative director. Part of me wonders, if the crew of Blossoms worked on this, what the final product would look like.

The aspects that they kept from the novel are criticized as unrealistic, while the things they removed are criticized as being unfaithful. I have a lot of issues with this drama ( I think the editing team had 10 dollars and a dream), but I’m starting to think that the novel is maybe too old school to be faithfully adapted in this day and age? Also there’s quite a few people on here who keeps saying that they read the novel, but think that the FL is too petite/playful/mischievous. And I wonder if they even read the book or if they lack reading comprehension. Both of which are kinda concerning.
