It’s a show that would benefit everyone involved.

I would be careful with the fan entitlement that comes from cfans, especially the ones from Weibo. Fangirling over someone should be fun, it shouldn’t be stressful or hateful, and cfans are always blurring that line.

Also she’s called Hesongs princess because out of all the actresses signed on to them, she does get the best treatment. The boss literally takes her around and introduces her to other big stars in the industry. There are so many photos at events to show that. She’s also allowed to take breaks when she wants to, to wait for projects that she’s passionate about like WOH and Red Dance Shoes. So many actors are forced to act drama after drama no breaks which really ruins their passion for the arts.

She does have pretty good resources though, movies and dramas. Also Hesong is founded by Li Bing Bing and her sister, both are well connected in the industry, explains why she got hooked with the Dior deal right after she signed with them. They also have more insight on the dealings within the industry, things that fans done know about or have control over. So maybe they don’t sue black marketing and anti fans, but who cares about that when new stories appear about celebs every other day. Look at ZLS and her company situation, at least ZYs team protects her from a lot of shady things. I agree about the studio though, she needs one.

Let’s be honest, the shelf life of liulangs are just a few years, if you want to be a long term actor, you have to pick roles based on substance and not billing position. His fans are burning his bridges before he even crossed.

IMO it’s pretty average and kind of bland. But thats also why I’m really excited to see how the drama will adapt it, all the changes so far seem to elevate the novel. But you can read a few chapters first, if it doesn’t interest you, just wait for the drama instead.

Yes, thats one great thing about ZY and her fans. She’s also in a great place in terms of acting because she has access to both dramas and movies. Even the most popular drama actors don’t necessarily have movie resources, yet she manages to have them.
