It is not illogical if you followed his character closely, what he says and what he does. He said multiple times…
💯💯💯💯 well said. He may seem straightforward, cold and reserved when it comes towards his work but he is not awful and gruesome. He wants Hui Jus trust.

Title When the Phone Rings Spoiler
1. Before episode 5, one of my favorite scenes was when Sa Eon storms home after the bomb explodes in his office…
Oh yes this scene with the dress was also very sweet, thanks for mentioning. There were just so many great moments in ep 5😍

And haha you are right with the car, this mad me laugh! Also it was kinda funny he fall really hard on the ground which looked really painful but next scene he was the one who was patching up that little scratch on her hand 😂♥️

Title When the Phone Rings Spoiler
Soo after yesterday's enchanting episode I could sleep soo well!! 😍 Now comes my deeper more sophisticated…
1. Before episode 5, one of my favorite scenes was when Sa Eon storms home after the bomb explodes in his office and confronts Hui Ju. There was no sign of the spokesperson who usually shows hardly any emotion, always remains cool, reserved, composed and calm. Instead, Hui Ju was faced with a man who had lost control of his poker face: disheveled hair, tattered clothes, drops of sweat on his face, his hands wandering on her body and his passionate, intense gaze that was only for Hui Ju. And we get exactly that sight again in episode 5: this time in his dream, when he confronts Hui Ju about not telling him that she can actually talk. The pain in his eyes and the desperation in his voice were so obvious, why did she keep it to herself? When he just wanted to protect her the whole time? It must be noted that only Hui Ju is capable of making this man forget himself and lose his facade.

2. I found the scene when they both send each other messages to be simply heartwarming. It was so sweet how he racked his brains over the heart smiley and thought long and hard about how he could reply to her. A single smiley put him on cloud nine, just made him dizzy with happiness. Even I had butterflies in my stomach! It must be noted here that Sa Eon and Hui Ju behave like other couples in their honeymoon phase, when they are still very much in love. Only for both of them this phase is only now starting three years after their wedding!

3. One of the best scenes in episode 5 was the scene in his office when she teaches him sign language. I was absolutely enchanted, the OST accompanied the whole thing wonderfully! Sa Eon, who of course never turns up anywhere unprepared, had of course already diligently learned the letters. I actually thought he would want her to show him how to say "I love you," but instead he wants "I look forward to working with you, Hui Ju." This again expressed his appreciation for her work and how proud he is of her!

4. By now, most people know how much I dislike drunk scenes, as they are often just embarrassing. But this time it was totally fitting that Sa Eon didn't hold back on the alcohol. After all, the thought that she could possibly be behind 406 was painful. Fortunately, there were no inappropriate scenes in the restaurant where Sa Eon makes embarrassing scenes while drunk, as is the case in most Kdramas. Instead, we only see him slumping in the car. The makers did a good job of that. And again, Hui Ju is the one who triggers this emotional chaos in Sa Eon.

5. And finally, he loses his poker face in front of her again when she saves him from the car. When he comes to, he remembers that she could call his name. "Did you call my name? I want to hear it again. Your voice!" Only then did I really realize how important this moment was for him. For the first time in 20 years, he had heard his name from her mouth and my God, he wanted to hear it again. Even my heart skipped a beat in that moment. I can hardly wait for her to speak it to him properly for the first time! What fireworks she will set off in him. For more than 20 years, he has tried to keep his distance and not let his feelings guide him. But the facade is crumbling and he is finding it increasingly difficult to hold back. This man is absolutely head over heels in love with her!! I can hardly wait for their first real kiss!! The sexual tension is almost unbearable. I hope for a gentle, sweet kiss, but also one that expresses the passion he has had for her for so long. Preferably against the wall! 🔥😏🤭 I just can't stop raving and am so excited for tonight!!

Soo after yesterday's enchanting episode I could sleep soo well!! 😍 Now comes my deeper more sophisticated and more serious analysis of episode 5. 🤓

I must say both main leads are great actors even though I didn't know them before but since episode 5 was focusing especially on Sa Eon's character development I would like to emphasize that I am amazed how well Yoo Yeon Seok kann portray Sa Eon's different range of feelings. There were so many great scenes, here are some which left a deep impact on me ( warning text wall, spoilers from ep 5 ⚠️ but no spoiler from the novel):

I love it too, but I hate when the show turns to shit in the end, and it happens all the time recently 😭 the…
Yes knight flower comment section was amazing while the drama was ongoing, but I guess this was because of many mature viewers...

yaaaaas the falling lips on lips trope, haven't seen that one since business proposal
I know this trope is almost in every kdrama, nevertheless I loved this scene, together with this wonderful OST it was so enchanting 😭😭😭♥️♥️

i think the casts/director alr mentioned that it would later evolve into more romcom type, so i suppose it shouldn't…
Me too, didn't perceive the lighter tone in this episode as negative, in fact I loved it that we could see a development in their relationship and also the cute side of Sa Eon. For me a wonderful episode 🥰

OMG episode 5 was more than I expected. The patient wait and consistent avoidance of spoilers was worth it. It was beautiful, I'm enchanted!! It took me two hours to watch because I had to stop so often to watch scenes again. Both are great actors, together with the beautiful OST I could only swoon, especially during the scene with her in his office. Simply beautiful 🥹🥹 But honestly, how many times can you fall into each other's arms in a single episode?! 😏

40 min left, will now go off. Could stay away two weeks from spoilers, don't want to change it right before airing :D

I wish everyone a happy time with WTPR! Hope you'll enjoy it and can forget work, school or uni stress. ♥️ Totally looking forward to Sa Eon's wedding ring. Did I already mention that before WTPR I have never thought how hot a wedding ring can look at the hand of a man? 🔥😏

Who uploaded those cute photos in the gallery? Why you want to torture me till tomorrow???🫣 Honestly, I'm totally nervous and anxious about tomorrow's episode and another postponement. I don't know if it's sad or funny that my nerves are frayed because of a Kdrama 🫠

He is already suspecting that there are more people involved regarding the kidnapping. Also I guess that Sa Eon…
There is no point in discussing with you and trying to convince you... your chosen words have shown that you have already made up your mind regarding this drama

in kdramas stupidity is a big components to make it success lol and they forget something called common sense…
Just because you don't like this drama it doesn't mean that the drama didn't deserve its rating. Sure there are many tropes and the story is nothing completely new. But the cliches are executed really well, the acting is topnotch and the entertainment factor, the most important point, is high. People watch dramas to relax and to escape real life and this drama is in terms of these points well done. If I want logic and such stuff I would watch something else.

It started out really good until she started calling him... He's supposed to be a professional in this field and…
He is already suspecting that there are more people involved regarding the kidnapping. Also I guess that Sa Eon didn't have a cool head anymore when he heard that his wife is targeted. Thinking logically is not possible anymore when people try to harm the love of his life.

Episode 5-6 might be postponed again as coming Saturday is scheduled for new impeachment vote ☹️
No this won't happen. Another postponement would be risky from the financial perspective since all the other channels are airing their dramas normally and the rating of those dramas is rising while the one of WTPR could drop because viewers might loose interest. Don't underestimate the importance of money which was invested into creating those dramas

The downside of watching a drama after it is completed is you don't get to gush about the drama episode by episode…
Lmao this made me seriously laugh, you are evil 😂😎but yes you are right there are actually many advantages by watching an ongoing drama... The problem with bingewatching is also that viewers often tend to forget the work, love, and effort which was put by everyone into making these fantastic stories for us. So by watching ongoing dramas you will appreciate each epsiode so much more and savor every Minute.
