She’s aware that BSE is married, so even if she likes him beyond just being his fan she doesn’t harbour any…
That's why I actually like her, although many people dislike the 2nd leads. She has a healthy relationship to Sa Eon and knows that he is out of reach. Really glad that she isn't turned into a typical jealous toxic monster who wants to spoil his marriage like in many other dramas, kudos to the screenwriters

Because many people rate dramas after they end and many people are waiting for it to end so they will watch it…
I know, I am really happy although I know that the rating could get worse (QOT and LND had also a high rating at the beginning). Was just wondering why it was stagnating

Not everyone rates as they watch as most don't even realize you can rate each episode on the desktop/browser version.…
Thanks for replying, your answer makes much sense

Yes I can understand it but you can also rate every episode with the episode guide. It is just really surprising that the rating was already at 8.9 before ep 6 and now it is stagnating, although ep 6 was clearly outstanding
On When the Phone Rings Dec 16, 2024
I really wonder how the rating system works on MDL. The rating was already increasing at high speed before ep 6 and is now setting at 8.9. So far ep 6 is imo the best one and also the majority of the users are swooning about it so much. So why is the rating not getting higher?

TRUEE!!! i was never really invested at korean actor and i never watch yys's other previous drama or movie, this…
Understandable! For example, I was scrolling through MDL yesterday and came across the page of a popular K-Drama that aired in December/January 2024. Everyone was raving about how hot ML is and I was like, "What? No, he still looks like a toddler next to a real man like Baek Sa Eon!"
On When the Phone Rings Dec 16, 2024
After WTPR, how am I ever going to enjoy a Kdrama where the ML has a polished baby face as usual? Baek Sa Eon, this MAN, has ruined all other male leads for me who fit the standard beauty ideal for Kdrama actors.

The new OST by Suran makes me think that there’s going to be a very 🔥 scene coming https://youtu.be/zQAkaKj4iEo?si=H3Hl8IEnJ9OH1Ni4
Thanks for sharing! Yes, that's right, this song has fire (it was played when Huiju was kidnapped) and has a certain undertone... But I'm not going to get my hopes up. I'll be happy if we get a halfway normal kiss between two adults that lasts longer than 2 seconds 🥲

I have never seen a drama with both leads before but I think Chae Soo Bin does a wonderful job, She has this innocent…
Thank you my dear 😘 love also your profile description

And his voice!!! The voice cracks, the anger, the fear, the feeling of hopelessness… he managed to convey all…
Jup both nailed it, could seriously feel Hui Ju's pain through the screen and Sa-Eon's despair made me almost cry... both actors were so into their respective roles, honestly don't have a clue how they could change their voice that much at the push of a button, really outstanding acting 😍

This drama shows how you can keep on recycling romantic cliches to send butterflies....chemistry is off the charts…
You're right, in the end it's all about the execution, which is wonderfully done here. In other dramas I would probably have been annoyed by the falling into each other's arms, piggybacking or tripping kisses, but here you can't get enough of it because the chemistry between the two main leads is just so good. This drama proves that viewers don't need a completely new, unique story to be satisfied (you can rarely completely reinvent the wheel).

keeping the actor being more natural with no any edits on his face is making absolutely his role being more successful!!
Yes you are right, the eye bags, the gaunt face really suit him as someone who is ambitious, a workaholic and having a highly demanding job

You are so right!! Gosh I had to replay this scene so often when she told him with her hoarse voice "Come quickly" and he was reassuring her and telling her to wait while running through the forest. Loved the voice of both of them in this situation, they were just loaded with so many emotions, really tugged at my heart 😢

I maybe in minority, but YYS is hard carrying the show. Somehow idk not very fond of CSB here , though I liked…
I have never seen a drama with both leads before but I think Chae Soo Bin does a wonderful job, She has this innocent face you want to protect, and a shy character which suits her personality as a woman who was traumatised in her childhood and is trying to take her life back and to stand on her own two feets. One of best scenes was when she told her sister that she will decide when she will talk and no-one else. Also it was so endearing when she was surpressing her smile during the breakfast with Saeon in ep 6 because she remembered what happened the night before. honestly can't imagine another actress for this role.

On the contraire side you have Yeo Yoon Seok as a powerful, selfconfident, intelligent and highly ambitious spokesperson who has of course a completely other impact on the viewers. Also his speaking part is much larger while Chae Soo Bin stays because of her mutism most of the time quiet and communicates with her face and gestures which is not less demanding. So maybe that's why you are thinking that he is carrying the drama.

That makes him hotter only 🔥
Haha yes completely agree, never thought before how hot a man can look with eye bags or a constant frown on his face 😩

I highly recommend watching this, but in my opinion, it’s not a drama with much romance. That’s probably why…
Thank you really much this is really helpful 🤗 I guess I will try it out

Everyone is rightly praising Yoo Yeon Seok and Chae Soo Bin for their stellar acting in episode 6, especially in this phenomenal last scene in the forest. But I must mention the make-up at this point, which has done a fantastic job so far. Instead of using beauty filters to conceal YYS's wrinkles, cover up his dark circles, his pores or his beard shadow, they left everything as natural as possible. I have rarely seen a Kdrama where imperfections on the skin were visible even in close-ups. Instead of Botox creating petrified facial features or baby skin through beauty filters, you could see every movement, every frown on Saeon's face. His pain, desperation and fear were just so vivid - you could read everything on him. I'm glad they left everything as natural as possible. It makes the characters so much more alive.

I really want to watch this one but I am not sure because of the length. Chinese drama are sometimes really really stretched... does this have many fillers? And I am more into romance dramas, but it is not tagged as romatic here, even though everyone is talking about the main couple? Should I still watch it? Really appreciate your kind advices 🙏
