Daily dramas are only shown 1 episode on weekdays so it doesn't make sense to combine 2 in 1, they only do that for regular dramas so this is 100+ eps where you watch each of them separately.
But 100 is only a base number I'm pretty sure they will extend it by a few eps later on like with the other dramas in this time slot

So how it ends? :)
yeah that part sucked 'cause even the other guy JS could survive getting hit by a truck and falling down a hill but he's still alive... meanwhile in a recent rom com 2 people also got hit by a car but they're still alive with minor injuries ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I still enjoyed this show though

Title Yellow Boots
I believe you can also find it on gooddrama or kissasian
it's not on KA, I searched up "Yellow Boots" or "Ice Adonis" I saw this on Dramacool last year before but didn't watch it til now. I notice sometimes DC has some shows that KA doesn't.
Since YT has this drama I thought it'd be better to watch from there

thoughts on the first episode? i thought it seemed pretty promising, althought the filming style isnt really my…
honestly the 1st episode/characters didn't really grab my attention compared to the previous 3 dailies' 1 st eps but I'm gonna keep watching every daily in this time slot since I got addicted to those ones while they were airing so it'll probably take me at least 10 eps to get into this one's story/characters...
As for the "filming style" all daily dramas look like this but I got used to them.

am trying to move onto the next daily drama but I feel like re-watching some of the beginning episodes... now I think this one actually had a better 1st episode/opening scene than Miss Montecristo with better BGM/lighting and emotional impact with TP and his mom scenes. Oddly when I first started watching this I wasn't that hooked to the first 10 eps until JS' brother showed up and that ending song I only started liking after 20 eps but now I appreciate them more after getting attached to them for 100+ eps

IKR. I cry about 40 episodes and this is 100 the only good thin9 is they are only 30 mins.
depends on the show, if it's addicting enough you won't feel the length or if it's slow/boring then I'd still struggle to finish it even if it's only 10-16 eps...
I started watching/got addicted to makjang daily dramas in late 2019, even though they are low budget with lesser known actors (those cliffhangers at the end of every episode!) now this is the 4th airing drama I'm watching in this time slot meanwhile still watching Phoenix 2020 (120 eps)
although I can't handle slice of life dailies they feel too bland for me lol

I enjoyed this too, started watching daily dramas since late 2019 with Gracious Revenge and Fatal Promise (I prefer…
agreed.. I was more excited about this than whatever else was airing lol the cliffhangers were killing me everyday. I tried Kang Eun Tak's older drama Love to the End but find it kinda meh.. A Place in the Sun is more mellow/not as over the top compared to this one. I think out of the dailies I've watched so far Left-Handed Wife felt most similar to this one with exaggerating stuff happening (amnesia, birth secrets, getting locked up in a mental hospital, persistent villains, that part with Joon Seok's watch and dead body was similar to what happened in LHW)
The Penthouse season 2 is coming out soon if you want another crazy makjang to watch (same writer of The Last Empress/Come! Jang Bo Ri)
Yeah I remember Love in Sadness (Ryu Soo Young was awesome in it), idk why they played the male version of "Stay with Me" in the early eps but only released the female version. It's kinda like when in Goblin they released the song Beautiful by Crush but in the umbrella scene with the main leads it was actually sung by another singer. I get frustrated when some of my favourite BGM don't get released, I used to cut/edit some of them out from the dramas and uploaded them to YT. Coincidentally I liked a lot of BGM from 2017-18 k-dramas but nothing really stood out to me in 2019-20 except for a few shows.
I see A Place in the Sun (2019) & Love to the End (2018) released their BGM in 2020 so I still have some hope for Fatal Promise music.
It's weird I thought I tried searching for this drama's music days ago but it didn't show up.. there are still a lot missing that they didn't put in the album. One of them was actually played in New Tales of Gisaeng before (ep 3 44-45 mins in swimming pool scene) sounds like that music when Yoo Jung is at DL except it's a different version (ep 38 9:37)
"Gloomy" & "Secret Man" is awesome even though I don't know what lyrics he is singing, but it actually got stuck in my head one day too lmao
love "Melody on Guitar" been waiting for it since this started airing, I like to call it Yoo Ra's theme because it played during some of her scenes. The melody makes me think about life xD
I'm waiting for Phoenix 2020 music too, they also have some nice tracks there with female vocals & whistling.

I'm waiting for the bgm ost for Phoenix 2020 as well. I really hope they do :)
yeah I hope so, I know most regular k-dramas usually release BGM after it's over but I wasn't so sure about daily dramas.. Phoenix 2020 has some nice music like the ones in the beginning of ep 1 beach scene, or a few others with female vocals/whistling.

Usual k dramas =16 episodes.... this one 120 lol
it's 30 mins each episode so it's only 60 hrs, original version was 26 eps. They added some extra stuff here to extend the story/fill up the screentime. I think SBS dailies nowadays are usually 120 eps, I've only completed 3 which were Shady Mom in Law (123), Ugly Alert (133) & Don't Hesitate (98)

most K-drama plots/scripts don't catch my attention nowadays.. I liked more dramas during 2016-18 even though I still dropped some but couldn't get into the hype over so many popular dramas since 2019. 2020 felt boring I enjoyed 4 at most (coincidentally 2 of them were about cheating and the other 2 had zombies in it) but then I started watching some daily dramas and lakorns in 2019 so they save me from boredom lol yeah some SOL anime bores me too depending on the plot/characters. I think older dramas feel easier to get into somehow, like they used to make more melodramas/makjangs back then or simple catchy storylines, now it feels like there's more slice of life or crime dramas. Although makjang dramas stay consistently the same for me so I still get hooked to these cliche plots/characters. I like some writers' previous dramas more than their recent ones (plus there were a few shows where I liked the 1st season more than the 2nd)
Did you know they released the instrumental background music OST for this drama? I thought the BGM was pretty good, it wasn't on Youtube but I went to a different website to listen to the music. I liked Fatal Promise's music too but I didn't see them release those :/
people usually talk about OST songs but I like it when a drama has good BGM, it makes the drama more memorable or exciting for me.

omg I just noticed they released the BGM OST for this drama - I was quite disappointed I kept waiting for Gracious Revenge & Fatal Promise BGM but they didn't release those. The music was pretty good in this one, I love all the tracks but my favourites are Devil's Tango, Secret Man, Gloomy, Melody on Guitar (which played sometimes during Yoo Ra's scenes) been waiting for that one since the drama first started airing so was excited to listen to the BGM of this music *hopefully waiting for Phoenix 2020 music as well*

Too bad they didn't include all of the music, there are some a lot missing like the sad music with female vocals in it or another one that usually plays at the end of an episode/cliffhanger..
Plus one of them was actually played in New Tales of Gisaeng before, compare ep 1 14:37 with NTOG ep 3 swimming pool scene around 44-45 minutes in (or at 43 min if you watch the version without the opening theme)

wow 4 days... I can't watch that much all at once lol but I was addicted to this too everyday, there were so many makjang cliches and exciting cliffhangers that kept me hooked to this one and the instrumental BGM was pretty good. I'm glad there are a few positive reviews for this drama despite the low rating/complaints in the comment section. I didn't know most of the actors here either except for a few veteran actors or people I've seen in other daily dramas before.

daily dramas are always rated low here, I guess some people don't like makjang dramas because I saw a few complain about it being ridiculous yet they continue to watch it even though I see them rating it below a 5 but it's the style of daily dramas they are supposed to be dramatic/cliche. The acting of Kang Eun Tak and Lee Chae Young stood out the most imo, they even got an award for their roles. I liked Lee Shi Kang too, and even the child actor was good too around ep 60s he made me cry along with him.

that new guy and Jung Min's step mom story weren't in the original 2004 version of Phoenix so that's why I felt like it was straying away from the original plot, plus the longer episode length but the drama is OK so far, it feels more "chill" to watch compared to A Man in a Veil which had more angst/exciting cliffhangers. The writer is making Jung Min more like the main character but I enjoy watching Seo Ha Joon's character more than Eric Mun's, although the older actress for Mi Ran left more of an impression on me.
CJBR was pretty addicting after the first 4 eps when Oh Yeon Seo shows up. Now it's the 2nd time I'm watching Yoon Ah Jung as an evil 2nd FL in YB besides A Hundred Year's Inheritance.
I found some daily makjang dramas addicting too, they brought me out of drama slumps whenever I'm bored of everything else lol (I find it hard to get into newer kdramas nowadays), at least for the 7 I've completed so far now excluding Ugly Alert which was more like a slice of life drama which I usually get bored of/struggled with halfway (in comparison to makjang dailies which I find the second half more exciting to watch and villains are amusing even though I should be hating them)
I've added A Man in a Veil to my own list of "Crack dramas" that I got addicted to, you can check that out if you want more dramas...
