Kim So Yeon's hair and makeup looks better in this season. Logan barely showed up but I guess this season will be more focused on Yoon Hee/Yoon Chul. I still have hopes of seeing Lee Ji Ah again (whether it's herself or a twin) it seems anticlimactic to kill her off in the middle of the drama.
end of ep 2 - I was surprised seeing Yoon Hee singing instead of that other woman, that scene gave me the chills.
Now I'm dying for the next episodes xD

I'm guessing that girl you're referring to might be Eun Byeol (Choi Ye Bin)? I also saw other people's comments about not liking her facial expressions/overacting.
I watched the first week of Miss Montecristo but I didn't find the plot/characters as engaging as A Man in a Veil, or maybe I'm just being picky lol I get easily bored of dramas nowadays but you can see what I wrote on the comment section there. The opening bridge scene was kinda awkward, I remember being more impressed with the opening scene/1st ep of AMIAV than Montecristo's when it first started.
It was lacking good BGM compared to here like with Secret Man & Melody on Guitar which caught my attention during the early eps and Breathe Me - Choi Hyun Joon, even though they keep playing the same ending credits song every time but I don't get bored of it since it sets the mood of the drama especially with that piano intro/first verse.
I even thought Gracious Revenge and Fatal Promise had a more solid start than Miss Montecristo, maybe because these previous 3 dailies are more revolving around family member issues/deaths which had more emotional impact. Yellow Boots started out good too I was hooked to the first 2 fast paced episodes.
I'm still continuing to watch Montecristo maybe it might get better after every 10 eps ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

preview for ep 3 looks more interesting with Kwak Dong Yeon's character (of the few dramas I've seen him in he usually makes the dramas more interesting even though he was only in support roles)

well I thought this was an OK start even though I didn't watch those 2 dramas (opening scene was the best part), but I even saw someone comparing this to Mr. Queen which I thought was overrated/boring (unpopular opinion). I guess it's actually better for me since this drama will be more of a surprise for me/I don't have to compare it with the writer's previous dramas.. am enjoying it mainly because of SJK even though I can't get into most hyped dramas nowadays especially the slice of life ones

Some keep mentioning it's from the same writer of The Fiery Priest/Chief Kim but not everyone watched those before, as if it's a requirement for us to watch those ones first to appreciate the humor/style of this drama? The only one I've watched from this writer was Blood but that wasn't a comedy ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think he will come back eventually, the show would lose its meaning without those main characters since the original version focused more on him and Mi Ran.
The female secretary is annoying me more than Ah Jun right now, at this point I'm still liking it mainly because of Seo Ha Joon, his version of Jung Min is more charming than Eric Mun's so that's one thing the writer definitely did better in this drama. I'd imagine Seo Ha Joon being a more popular actor if he wasn't limited to these obscure daily dramas, since he has the looks and acting skills.. even my sisters who aren't watching the drama think he's handsome when they see me watching this xD
If the writer was going to bring back a dead character I'd rather it be Jung In, now that would've been more interesting to watch.

The drama could've been cooler if they stayed in that setting. I actually thought the entire opening scene was funnier than the rest of the drama lmao foreign actors are always unintentionally funny to me for some reason and SJK looked badass there

it was so random how she showed up suddenly with a cake, according to her list of dramas/movies I've watched her in Save Me & Age of Shadows before but I don't remember her there. It's only the 1st ep so maybe she'll improve/be more likeable later.

I guess it depends on people's tastes, everyone has a different sense of humor.. like I loved Eulachacha Waikiki but couldn't get into the 2nd season, thought it was boring/forced humor (it looked more obvious there that they tried too hard to be funny and original cast had more chemistry with each other)
