oddly I find the FL more interesting to watch when she's acting as a villain (tricking SEJ in the recent eps) Final week of finishing this drama - I'm gonna miss watching Seo Jung Min! for some reason I really like ep 1's beach scene, it was a mesmerizing opening scene and I kept re-watching it, wondering who she was going to choose.. the drama started out good but it could've had way more potential if it didn't have so many flashback scenes and had more plot, like with SH, MR and other veteran characters stories. The part about the motorcycle guy at the father's accident wasn't explained in this version, the truth about the accident was supposed to be the main plot point of the original version. But JE/JM romance here is done better than the original. JM looks/acts more like a gentleman here while the original one reminded me more of a gangster, even though they kept playing an amazing OST song for him and JE (Love for You - Shin Jae Hong) but I didn't fall in love with his character compared to Seo Ha Joon's. SEJ's arc is like making up for the fact that MR was originally supposed to be the crazy one but MR was more like a bitchy 2nd FL while this one is becoming creepier/mentally unstable (which also happened with original MR who also had borderline personality disorder)
I'm seeing comments about Logan being evil... hopefully not because I liked him in S1 and it was sweet how he cared for SSR (that kiss/back hug scene!) Kim So Yeon's acting was hilarious when she pretended to be shocked at the police arriving at their place. What's with the creepy maids? First JDT's now this one ಠ_ಠ I still kinda want HYC to end up with OYH instead even though his character was ruined in this season. EB still deserves to be punished for attempted murder but they'll probably let her off because she was mentally unstable, she was the main reason why JDT struck her in the head. How exactly did SSR save BRN? Like she was there seeing her dying from JDT removing her ventilator?
8.7 is really too much, I'm not someone who can judge it but it's an opinion E10
agreed, I was actually excited about the beginning of ep 1 with that CGI setting but the rest of the drama is kinda meh. I feel bored watching the filler scenes but like the serious parts more. I'm just continuing mainly for SJK.
Any dramas similar to this aside from the guest and kingdom?
Priest (drama) if you liked The Guest. I find the energumen creepier in Priest 'cause of their supernatural powers. Rampant (movie) the zombies are similar to Kingdom's where they hide from the sun/heat.
Loved the first 18 mins of ep 1 (I'm always amused watching foreign actors lol) but the rest of the drama is kinda meh.. I feel bored watching the filler/comedy scenes but like the serious parts of the show more. SJK is great in his role so I'm still watching mainly for him.
I know what your talking about about. The support roles from the original drama were funnier and I really like…
Kang Ki Young is a naturally funny actor next to Lee Yi Kyung (my other fave supporting actor), have seen him in 8 dramas so far but his character here was most fun/memorable for me with his "Sundae Soup" club. Maybe it is the character or acting but the actor for Junior seems cringy especially in the 1st eps, it feels like he's overacting with weird facial expressions and the humor is more forced in this one.
Exactly xD he's the main reason why I am motivated to watch this drama even though other people are complaining…
she had miscarriage before so I think that's why she couldn't get pregnant again.. the love triangle wasn't that strong in this drama and he felt more like the ML than SH so I rarely felt SLS anymore. yes that's true he is a good actor even though it's my first time watching him in this drama I would want to see him in more rom coms!
I just love Seo jung Min, I'm watching it for him and his love story. I'm so in love with him!!!!
Exactly xD he's the main reason why I am motivated to watch this drama even though other people are complaining about it, Seo Ha Joon's Jung Min is way more appealing personality/lookswise than the original one imo he caught my attention since ep 21 time skip so I don't think it was a waste of time for me to watch this (I'm actually feeling more bored watching hyped/popular dramas nowadays). At first I was worried about SLS or writer making him evil later but I doubt it now at this point. It's a shame Seo Ha Joon is limited to these obscure daily dramas, I find him more handsome than some mainstream/regular drama actors lol
*cringes at that scene when Sang Ah sucks Gyu Jin's upper lip* gross lmao Dan Tae taking Seo Jin to his torture basement reminds me of Let Me Introduce Her. Bae Ro Na is still alive?!

glad to see you back on MDL!
