When u finish the drama plz tell me if it is worth it .. if it has a satisfactory happy ending, how is the romance…
She ends up with the second lead Jung Min (happy ending) she barely had any romantic development or feelings for Sae Hoon after the time skip, it becomes obvious the more you watch the drama, the writer gives Jung Min more screentime/romantic moments with the FL than Sae Hoon..

the FL's romance with the 1st ML was fast paced she fell in love with him quickly but her parents disapproved of him even though he was a top student at university and his father was a laborer holding a strike against their company, he argued sometimes with the FL and had a hard time adjusting/getting along with her parents meanwhile they wanted her to be engaged/married to Jung In (Jung Min's twin brother but his character gets killed off after the 10 years time skip in ep 20 Jung Min shows up in front of Ji Eun) She even got pregnant with Sae Hoon before but she fell down the stairs while arguing with him and got miscarriage. Later Sae Hoon is engaged to Mi Ran and Ji Eun worked as a maid in their house for a short time. He also got a heart problem which didn't happen in the original 2004 version. He disappeared from the drama at around ep 70 when he went to the US with Mi Ran to fix his heart and 2 new filler characters showed up. Seo Eun Joo (Jung Min's secretary) was similar to Mi Ran except she is interested in Jung Min.
It doesn't make sense that in ep 80 he wants to marry MR, like wtf!?! She's a liar, manipulative, obsessive person…
now that I'm done with this drama I am disappointed the love triangle story was weak... writer made him a useless side character so it will be obvious JM will end up with JE and he didn't even show up in the last eps even though MR came back. SEJ makes MR look sane lol. Nevermind about that ep 1 beach scene, it is the biggest cliffhanger ever it didn't even happen in the later eps. I'm pissed that they left me hanging, I was waiting all this time to know what happens after that and who she chose in that scene :/

there was romance with the FL and 1st ML in the beginning episodes but after ep 20 it is focused mostly on her and Seo Ha Joon's chemistry. It is a happy ending for them. Even though most people here aren't liking this version and downrating it but I find Seo Ha Joon's character more attractive/sweet than Eric Mun's so I guess that was my main reason for liking this drama even though the plot wasn't that exciting tbh the original version felt darker but I liked Jung Min/Ji Eun romance more in this one, they had more cute/intimate scenes than the original characters.
probably at the last episode. Right now the main leads are having arguments so that's most likely why she says…
I saw the last episode raw but that scene was nowhere to be found... I'm pissed 'cause that was one of the best opening scenes I've seen ugh I was dying to know what happens after with the 3 of them there!
Final episode - it ended on a beach scene like with the original Phoenix. It was a sweet ending for JM & JE but I still feel unsatisfied because the drama could've been way better... love triangle plots are more satisfying to watch when both MLs get equal amount of screentime and you can't predict who the FL will end up with. I found Yeo Jin's birth secret pointless, I didn't really care for the side characters here. Ah Jun was a waste of screentime and why did they even bother reviving JE's dad? He was one of the reasons why SH/JE didn't end up together anyways but he didn't remember all that shit he did to him.. But what annoys me most is that ep 1 beach scene got me hooked when it first started airing but it never happened again later in the drama wtf?? That is so disappointing/misleading, it shouldn't have been included in the episode. I was dying to see what happens after that with the 2 guys fighting for the FL but that scene will forever be a mystery/biggest cliffhanger for me since I will never know what happens after that ( ͠° ͟ʖ ͡°) or maybe that scene could take place off screen some years later when they have another argument/want to divorce, SH's heart is fixed/second opportunity to love her again and open up a possibility for season 2 (highly doubt it) now I hope they will release the instrumental BGM for this drama, I liked those female vocals bgms with the humming and whistling.. I miss listening to that one at the beach, it used to play more often whenever SH was still around. What happened to him anyways? I know he was in the US with MR but there was no proper closure to his character. The drama started with his character and should've ended with him even if JE/JM ended up together. What was the point of this being called "Phoenix" if it didn't focus on SH's character and their love triangle? She got over him easily even though they all knew he was going to die from his heart problem. P. S. Their kids didn't even look like them lmao
It doesn't make sense that in ep 80 he wants to marry MR, like wtf!?! She's a liar, manipulative, obsessive person…
but in that ep 1 beach scene he says it's his second opportunity to love JE again. I wonder if he broke up with MR at that point? Or maybe he's still having delirium and can't get over JE.. SH deserved more screentime though, the drama had a lot of potential in the beginning but the main things I enjoyed were JM and the instrumental BGM (hopefully they will release the OST for that)
probably at the last episode. Right now the main leads are having arguments so that's most likely why she says…
yeah.. I think that scene would've worked better if it was put somewhere in the middle of the drama instead of Ah Jun's arc, his character/story felt pointless to me as if they wanted to insert an idol actor for more ratings.. At first I thought she was talking about SH in those inner monologues 'cause it made more sense for him like "But today, I finally realized that you're the man I love" since she was in love with JM already.. but I don't get that line "I kept running away because I felt sorry for the one who'd get left behind" I thought she got over SH long ago, doesn't make sense for her to go back to him now after all that she's been through with JM.
I am disappointed in the new version of Phoenix! Ji Eun would never have married Jung Min over Sae Hoon! The deviation…
This should be marked as a spoiler. I thought it felt obvious she was going to end up with JM since the writer kept giving him more screentime than SH and he started being more like a side character.. also I don't really get the point of making him have a heart problem. JM feels more of a nice guy here since they killed off JM's dad earlier and didn't do anything about JE father's accident plot, like the motorcycle guy just happened to be there. There wasn't really any conflicts or reason for them to not end up with each other. Well I didn't expect it to match the original 100% 'cause that'd be predictable but I was expecting a more exciting love triangle story whether it was a remake or not.. since she ended up with SH in old version maybe she could end up with JM in this one.
I am curious if we are ever going to get back to the scene that the drama started out at...
probably at the last episode. Right now the main leads are having arguments so that's most likely why she says "Love exhausts me" later at the beach. But what I don't get is why SH thinks it's his 2nd opportunity to love her again, did he suddenly break up with MR? And no one told him that she's already married with JM and had kids? I thought the beach scene was a great opening scene but the events leading to it is kinda lame, what's the point of bringing SH back to the drama in the last few episodes? It seems pretty obvious she'll end up with JM at this point.
There are some things I like in both versions but story-wise I liked that the original one focused more on the…
I think you meant to reply to the other person instead of mine... Although I'll have to admit the original plot and Mi Ran's story was done better than here but I definitely like Seo Ha Joon over Eric Mun. Ah Jun's character felt pointless to the story and what was the point of reviving JE's dad? Also they killed off JM's dad too early, it would've been more interesting if he and CMH had more face offs.
LOL I swear the best love story on here was between In Rang and Cheon Sang. I loved them so much!!!!!! Anywho,…
same here, their bromance was my favourite part of the drama xD I want to watch them in another drama together again... am watching the Thai version of this drama but the characters there aren't as good/funny compared to Kang Ki Young & Lee David's chemistry here
um, I didn’t like the Korean version, can someone tell me if this is the coolest? I didn't like it because the…
FL is less annoying here/more likeable compared to Kim So Hyun's character.. the romance is more obvious in this one and some of the ghost stories are different from the k-drama. Although the supporting cast is much better in the k-drama with Kang Ki Young/Lee David hilarious bromance and Kwon Yool pulled off the role better as a mysterious villain.
I think the actress is beautiful, I know her from other workout honestly I don't like her style here, she seems…
I don't think popular actors would waste their time with daily dramas lol plus the makjang style doesn't suit them anyways but I'm glad I started watching them, it's refreshing to watch/discover different people.. like Kim Jin Woo in Left-Handed Wife (when he is usually guest/supporting roles in regular dramas) or the 2 MLs in A Man in a Veil. Plus I could never get to see a hottie like Seo Ha Joon in a regular drama :/

Daily dramas always use unknown/lesser known actors or maybe the actors/actresses who are usually support/guest roles in regular dramas get to be a main lead in a daily like with Im Joo Hwan, Kwak Dong Yeon, Kim Jin Woo, etc.
I've watched the Korean version so I want to know are they following same story or their are any differences?
some of the ghost stories were different, I liked ep 3 and 7 stories more than the Korean version. Then there was another episode that was supposed to be a female water ghost in the Korean but was changed to a weird looking forest man here. The romance looks more obvious in this version too.
wtf they can't leave me hanging with that ending-- Logan was my fave character and I was finally hoping to see my ship sail T_T EB should've been punished too for attempting to kill RN, she should be grateful that she's alive so she won't have nightmares about that night anymore. Now what's going to happen next with the creepy maid... I still think OYH will not be the murderer and the truth will be out in the next season. I thought the person's arm had long sleeves when I stared closely at the screen of them shoving MSA out the window. Was I the only one excited about Ohn Joo Wan's guest appearance in the last ep? I liked watching him from Man Who Sets the Table.
