For everybody out there that think this is a bad drama because of what they read around the internet, stop and…
Well, I don't think you have to rely too much on other's opinions. From past experiences I can say I liked a lot of shows that most others disliked so yeah.. But to reply to your question, it didn't really change the pacing nor the amount of cheesiness xD it's a light-hearted love story and doesn't go beyond that as of now. So you decide if it's worth continuing it or not. xD There are still plenty of other episodes left so it does have potential to turn into something better. I won't negate it that chance.
For everybody out there that think this is a bad drama because of what they read around the internet, stop and re-think of your own personal tastes. This is a romantic comedy with the same cliches and plotholes as many others, true, however take it for what it is, if you like romantic comedies. The storytelling is moderate and doesn't try to throw you in right into the tragedy, however they get revealed bit by bit.Till what I've seen there's nothing quite yet outstanding or quite yet unlikeable. It's simply a nice way to spend your evening when you want some peace and quiet. So don't just avoid this one because people blatantly say it's bad or that it looks like a Kill me,Heal Me rip-off. That is not the case and I'm watching both at the moment. So it's not even a matter of which one is better. Yes they have the same concepts but one tries to get into something more complex (which I don't think is going the right way for now) and the other one is just simply what you see and what is presented up to this point. Your choice depends on what you seek.
seriously ..this drama should have a 10/10 score *__*
@katami: Se Gi's first appearance (I'll avoid any major spoilers). It never tried to "hide" that the situation Do Hyun got in with the father of his classmate was anything more than a simple plot device to make Se Gi actually come out. There was no point to it besides that and it bluntly stuck my eyes out with how obvious it was to be there for that only purpose. All media present plot devices but what makes it enjoyable is that you, as the watcher, don't perceive it as one. KMHM however failed there and failed in the future situations too. Secondly, I didn't manage to feel sorry or even care about more than half of the cast because they seem that they're not part of it, but simply an "extra" to the love triangle and the actual “problem” (you decide which is the REAL love triangle, I stopped trying to argue on that already). The only one I care about is the main guy (kudos to Ji Sung!) who doesn't disappoint in the least (even though I also have issues with some of his personalities feeling too "forced", and that includes "bad boy" Se Gi as much as I wanted to like him.) and Oh Ri On gives a certain amount of entertainment. Thirdly, the use of flashbacks annoys me half of the time. Mostly Episode 4 (? i think it was 4 at least), was filled with these useless flashbacks that seemed to be there only to fill up time and space, I didn't feel the need to see the same flashback 3 times, I got the big picture already, however it seems that the director felt like I need a resume of the past 3 episodes. xD The only time I felt that a series of flashbacks was well delivered happened in episode 9 when Oh Ri On realizes "what he has done" (spoiler, but i bet you know what I'm talking about). Lastly, Oh Ri Jin is a pain. Not the actress, mind you, her whole character. She’s acting very unprofessionally for a psychiatrist and when she tries to act like one she’s either very unconventional or she freaks out for comedy purposes. Oh Ri Jin isn’t a psychiatrist; we’re just tricked to believe that she is one. Thanks, writer.
All in all, my frustration with this series up to this point derives from the belief that it had so much potential that it couldn’t have gone wrong and instead it did. All the good points (cast, OST and main concept) unfortunately aren’t enough for me to start praising this show or even remotely save it in my eyes. Only reasons I’m still watching is because of the good points I mentioned above. But my frustrations only go up as of now.

@katami. I'm sorry, but for me it's the truth. It's not like I've never given any 10, however the concept, the cast and the general idea of the story can't save the poor directing, writing and delivering this show has in my opinion. And I can tell you even why I think that using one example from the very first episode. Pease reffer to my "spoiler" comment since I don't want to flood the comment board. ^^
