Gui Mudan poisoned LY, it’s like GMD abandoned LY after taking his advantage and LY himself chose to die when TLC wanted to save him because he was too guilty after learning the truth and for everything he had done. After LY dies, ML had a total break down for days and then he goes ahead and start killing all the evil guys one by one.

It will be like a complete reset like what we see in time-loop dramas. The villains are all interconnected and knows each other. LY is going to annoy you so much to the point you want to go into the scene and choke him. Gui Mudan is coming in Ep14 and ML is now going to travel to Bilao palace with his friends to form an alliance with the master of Bilao palace. This whole arc will end soon and by the Ep22 another one will come into the picture. Everything changes around Ep30, ML will go back and kills the villains from his realm.

Yes, the other big villains and Gui Mudan will make an appearance today, We are still too early in the drama, I think it’s for good to not spoil the details about ending, and since we are still too early it’s hard to say whether they would make changes to it or go with the original idea. The one I know is the type of ending of that depends on our perspectives, the ending questions us whether it is HE, SE or OE. After witnessing the ML’s journey and going through all the ups and downs with him, we have to decide what ending it is.
