After Xifang tao, Gui Mudan, the villain will be revealed and after Gui Mudan the big villains will be revealed. There are two BIG villains, both are from another realm, one of them use multiple personalities. Of course our ML cannot die while the villains still breath.

LY won’t have any redemption arc, he learnt the truth but it’s too for him to redeem himself. He accepted all the sins he had committed and got his karma. Just in the last moment he has a little spark as how good he used to be and how he destroyed himself by own hands and wished he couldn’t have all done all that. That’s it.
The villains won’t get any redemption either, they all will meet a horrible end.
