lol I'm Team Nobody tbh, I just couldn't get attached to either one of them :/ sigh. Na Jeong could've had more depth as a character, that's for sure.

You should watch "Soredemo, Ikite Yuku" if you want slice of life that's more genuine and heartfelt btw (but just don't expect any romance, it's kind of a heavy story..)

I hate how dramafever subs tend to have the character name that's addressed instead of the name noona/unnie/oppa, it's always so out of place. If we're watching a drama then we probably know about honorific names, there's no need to change them -_- Definitions in the beginning are definitely better (oh and "itadakimasu" always gets butchered lol just stick to the word when there's no real alternative)

np, I think we have a lot in common (we both dropped Heirs early on and gave it a 1, I think that must count for something lol)

Yeah, this show's really fun ^^ Koala (the recapper) got me all obsessed with it. It's now my go-to drama on Fridays ever since 1994 ended up being such a letdown

If you can look past some of the cheesiness, you'll see that it does a lot of things differently. It's totally worth watching, even just for the good characterization we get. They're all likeable in their own way, flaws and all

That doesn't change the problem with the lack of clarity we got while he was questioning his sexual orientation.
His interest in Trash could easily be dismissed as just a passing phase by the general audience, which is a pretty insensitive and inaccurate way of portraying bisexuality/homosexuality in my opinion.

Suddenly, he's with a woman and we get full narration from him while we'd spent the whole drama waiting for his character's gay/bi storyline to be explored and for the subtle gestures to be faced head-on. Even the kiss between him and Trash could easily be dismissed as meaningless, so there's really nothing that could even be seen as controversial by anyone. The writers had no guts.

Also...hetero happy endings are a dime a dozen in Kdramas, is it that difficult to give an LGBT character a happy ending too?

To be fair, the episode review section isn't featured as prominently on the page the way the drama review section is. This is a problem with the MDL interface, but it doesn't seem like anyone cares to recognize that. It's more fun to hate on people for not following the rules of social conduct, isn't it

a lot of Jdramas have this kind of friendship/romcom slice-of-life style too ^^ Proposal Daisakusen, Sunao ni Narenakute, Buzzer Beat, Love Shuffle, etc.

there was a scene where she was on the phone with trash's hyung (asking about na-jeong), so I think that indicates her words shouldn't be taken seriously :/

they've already mentioned they used a stand-in, so it doesn't mean anything sadly :/
