Yup, we have several ones in common ^^
I first started watching Taiwanese dramas back when they were the most popular and all over YT (mid-2000s). It wasn't until 2010 that I really got back into watching dramas, and it was mostly Korean ones. Then I watched Hana Yori Dango and it made me want to find more feel-good Jdramas ^^ So I guess you could say TW dramas were my intro to dramas, but I haven't really watched that many since then.
Which drama are you planning to watch soon? Do you prefer Korean or Japanese dramas at the moment?
Episode one was so captivating! Can't wait to watch next episode tomorrow. I have a question, what was Reina's…
Other than her being disturbed by his actions, I thought it was actually more fuelled by jealousy/fear of betrayal, considering she later dumped Rena outside in a garbage bag and urged him to take her to a hotel

Hey ^^ I agree with you about Biblia, I'm also looking for a similar drama. Have you ever heard of Aozora no Tamago? It has a very similar feel to Biblia, and it also had amazing cinematography and opening credits. I can send you a link if you can't find it btw :3
The scene where he's on the edge of the cliff was fucking heartbreaking

Thanks, I'll keep it in mind ^^ I loved her in everything I've seen her in so far.
I'd recommend Loss:Time:Life (http://mydramalist.com/japanese-drama/2252/losstimelife) to you if you want something dark and quirky, it's very unique and memorable. It's also a lot shorter and more like a series of short films in format, so it doesn't take as much time to watch
Who r these ppl? & Y should I care? The US writers will prolly screw the story up w/ lots of sexy, drugs,…
...what does that have anything to do with this production? This isn't a major studio. If you'd even bothered to read anything about this production you'd know that it has 16 episodes. And I don't see how that comment about actors playing the same roles is even relevant to this

Nice to meet you too :D yeah, I find that a lot of Jdramas have a very low-key tone that I'm simply too impatient for. At the same time, it's worth giving them a try because sometimes you come across some really great and memorable ones. They're like a mixed bag of stories and situations, with more complex and deeply flawed characters than you'd get in a typical Kdrama.
Comedies? Hmmm...it depends on what your taste is, because sometimes the slapstick/live-action types fall too much on the childish side for many people.
Either way, some fun ones are: Samurai High School, Moteki, Densha Otoko, Papa to Musume no Nanokakan, Proposal Daisakusen, and Hana Kimi ^^

Your profile's interesting, looks like we have a lot of ratings in common ^^ It's too bad you watched the crappy "You're My Pet" Kmovie and not the original Japanese drama, which is imo far superior
I didn't think it was slow-paced at all, the plot actually moved along pretty quickly. It's a movie, so it's not going to have excessive bg music or cuts to different camera angles every moment like dramas do
