I just started watching this today and so far I am enjoying it already. I adore the child actors, they are so adorable. I haven't watched the chinese version yet, but I will probably give that one a try as soon as I finish with this version.

This Drama had me actually really confused bc I see so many people loving this so much even thought it's mid at…
Well that's reality. People have different interest, taste and personal preferences. We are all different human beings after all. It's only natural to have different opinions. Just because this drama is bland for you, that doesn't necessarily mean it should turn out bland for others too. Furthermore, your conclusion is irrelevant. I have been watching a lot of k-dramas since 2012, but I still ended up enjoying this drama to the fullest and was able to relate to some of the characters thus I gave it a high rating which is something that someone shouldn't be questioned or guilt-trip for as ratings are just personal opinions at the end of the day, and whether a person watched a lot of kdramas or not doesn't have to do with why most people are loving this drama. If people love it, they love it. Simple as that.

ikr, i find it weird too bcs as far as i know with recent eps, their interaction, she kinda treats peng gao like…
yeah she is now more open to him compared before, the editing of episodes is weird sometimes. Like for that specific scene with Qingya choosing PengGao during the mask party came out of the blue because she has only been treating PengGao as a friend and we know she is into Oscar but suddenly in that scene we saw her turn around and choose PengGao but previous scenes before the mask party showed no signs of her reason for choosing PengGao so it is weird. Also like the comment above said, Yufan only told Qingya that PengGao was sincere about liking her only after the mask party ended. So, they must have cut some scenes or has to do with editing because the sudden progress between them during that scene was confusing seeing she wasn't open to him during that time. Anyway, latest episode showed more of their progress together.

On Heart Signal Season 7 Oct 10, 2024
Title Heart Signal Season 7 Spoiler
I am kind of getting tired with the whole love square going on between Xiaomi, Dinghao, Muchen and Yufan. I think the main problem here is Muchen who is stringing along two girls. I agree with the panels comment, Muchen doesn't seem to know boundaries and tends to create misunderstandings when it could be easily avoided if he was just more direct. It is obvious he likes Xiaomi more but he keeps beating around the bush and giving Yufan false hope. I feel sorry for Yufan because she is such a sweet girl and she deserves a guy better than Muchen. On the other hand, I feel sorry for Dinghao too. I hope Xiaomi realizes and sees Dinghao's effort, he is a good guy who has been sincere with his feelings, although he is not very proactive but it is clear how his intentions and actions are way better than Muchen. I honestly don't feel any spark between Xiaomi and Muchen, it's like a game of ego whenever they have a conversation.

Every interaction between Leyan and Oscar feels so natural, which is why I love seeing more of them on screen. It amazes me how deep and serious most of their conversations often get and it is clear they are very into each other. I think Leyan is an overthinker and the type who needs assurance a lot, she must have been very hurt in the past which is why she is very cautious and only looks for someone who is really certain about her which I think is great. She even brought up the idea of marriage, and I love her view about it. I noticed Oscar is a very attentive person and he has a high emotional intelligence, no wonder he can handle and answer so smoothly to Leyan's questions. I love all his answers, it is all so genuine. They both are truly compatible and compliment each other so well. I especially love the scene when Oscar gave Leyan words of encouragement, correcting her that she isn't just an ordinary girl. It was a very heartwarming moment. Tomo and Qiqi doesn't fall behind, I love their sweetness so much, they should get married already like what the panel and almost everyone comments. Tomo is very thoughtful like Qiqi too. They really suit each other well too.

The previous episode really made my heart ache for Nini and Mi Die. Then this current episode, I felt so sad thinking Mi Die had really left but thankfully he didn't. He is honestly such a mature guy and I am so glad he didn't give up and thought about it. I am so happy to see them reunite, plus this time they are more closer to each other. The plant scene was simple yet very meaningful. Looking forward to this two on next weeks episode! Also, finally there is progress between Pengao and Evelyn, I like how they are now comfortable to each other and Evelyn is starting to open up to Pengao.

Also, not Oscar being a wingman for Dinghao then Pengao a wingman for Yufan, these two are so funny.

Person Jung Hae In
I have always admired Jung Haein for constantly being able to act out the life to his characters and serving them justice. He is a remarkable actor who has an exceptional talent for acting indeed. I am surprised each time I learn or read about his interviews regarding the roles he takes on. The amount of dedication, self-discipline, and his professional work ethic is truly commendable. He really put in the real effort to study his character and made sure he grasps that characters depth to the point he often gets affected himself, because of the roles he plays. As much as I admire his dark and stronger characters, without doubt he is excellent at. I must say that his lighter role, specificially in his first romcom drama as Choi Seunghyo is already an incredible feat itself. He did so well and proved that he can ace any type of role on any drama genre he is given to act. Although he isn't a veteran at romcom genre dramas yet, he still manages to shine because of his talent and potential alone. I have been watching lots of romcom dramas and most or some male actors (no shade) fail to deliver the characters role for me unlike how Jung Haein did. He deserves all recognition and I am proud of him. One of the few stellar actors in k-drama industry indeed.

Title Love Next Door Spoiler
If you’re wondering about the fuss, it’s really about people generalizing and dismissing others’ opinions.…
I agree with everything you have said. No one should be disrespected for their preferences even more so, no one should be judged for how much time they spend on MDL or any site. I just wish some mdl users would stop generalizing and labeling people quickly. People who enjoy the drama or engaging in this site shouldn't have to be guilt-trip for doing so.

the type of users that attacks other users personal preferences in dramas are the real toxic ones, yeah that's how toxic some users are here.

This! I couldn't agree more with you! others who expressed their own opinions were merely disagreeing with the user who made a disrespectful remark. It wasn't even for the purpose of defending the drama, and those who disagreed with the user were respectful with their words. I do not see how one can quickly be labeled as toxic due to that fact alone lol.

Yes, people can express their opinions and share their critics respectfully. However, what causes a stir or arguements are comments that clearly targets the audience who enjoyed the drama by their comments that generalizes and have degrading remarks on them. You can share your opinion without having to disrespect others just because they like something you didn't.

Yeah, not just Koreans it kind of is like an asian family thing. I come from an asian family myself and did experience such events in the past. It's like part of our culture. Asian parents would beat their children (not to the extent that leads to abuse) as a form of punishment to discipline their child and correct their wrong behaviors. Asian parents still does this even if their child is a grown adult. I hope you get my explanation.
