I absolutely love today's episodes. The sweet moments between Sang Yan and Yi Fan literally has my heart. The way Sang Yan cares for Yi Fan leaves me in awe each time. He cares so much for her. I guess this is why they say actions speak louder than words and Sang Yan seems to be the clear epitome of that. No, he doesn't need his actions to be known, often times most of his actions are done behind the scenes - his silent way of caring for her is what I love most about him. He always tries to spoil Yi Fan by giving her the best, if anything he could have already given her the world if she'd ask for it.

Is Sang Yan merely just a guy who couldn't get over his first love and is still pining for her? No he is not, he is the warmth and home she needs which she doesn't know yet. Sang Yan doesn't push his love for Wen Yi Fan, he doesn't pressure her with his feelings but he rather accompanies her and tries to care for her in ways he could. He is the only person in Yi Fan's life that tries to make a genuine effort of seeing underneath her facade, he is the one who constantly wants to bring out the real Wen Yi Fan into the real world at the same time the one who wants to understand her the most. I honestly can't wait for Yi Fan to realize she is deserving to love and be loved by Sang Yan.

The sleep walk kissing scene in the end was another beautiful execution and it really spoke so much about Yi Fan's inner feelings.

I am glad you noticed that in my lengthy comment. Like you, I haven't encountered anyone mentioning about it yet here which is why I decided to write it up. Wen Yi Fan's father is truly significant in her life seeing how they kept showing us her moments with her dad, she really is a daddy's girl and was under a warm home ; her father cherished her and made her happy but ever since she lost such an important person in her life, everything just went downhill and she never got to experience that type of 'warmth' again. Although Sang Yan was present in her life during those times and did give her care and some warmth, they were still at a young age where they couldn't just be rash about love and I find her decision valid and reasonable for not reciprocating his love during those times, she wasn't being selfish but rather selfless.

That's also a nice way of thinking for her character but for me, I still want to give her the credit for being 'strong' because she made it this far in her life and it was definitely not an easy feat. She had to shed and hide away the true happy part of herself to push through with life. Not all people who experience hardship in life have this strength and ability to do that.

Right, I am also glad they got over the love triangle quickly. Yi Fan being honest with her feelings towards Xiang Lang was really good. I didn't read the novel but I am very satisfied with what they did here. True, Sang Yan stayed true to himself and I like the fact that he constantly gives her warm although he often tries to act cold in front of her but we can clearly see all his actions speaks of so much care and love for her. He truly and genuinely loves her and I just know he will break so much more too once he finds out everything that Yi Fan had to go through.
