For me getting older was hard. Watching this drama gave me so much I can't even describe. The writers wrote a most amazing script for Koreas most elite actors. Watching dramas I often wondered who the women were who portrayed the mothers and grandmothers whith such ease and grace, often even with some of their evil ways you could always see the mother and grandmother shining through. These women together in one drama for me was epic and the life's lessons we all learn so wonderfully shown was astounding. Life is for all of us a challenge it's how we face them that makes us who we are. I am so grateful for this wonderful drama for giving me days of enjoyment and so much food for thought. It also gives a deep appreciation for the elders in ones life and view into their feelings. Enjoy this amazing drama .

I liked the first leading actress but the second kind of fits the part better ( just my opinion) my reason she seems more serious and I think can come across more aggressive when needed. First actress was really cute and I like her but I think this part suites the now lead better. I can't wait to see how this progresses at this point am torn with my feelings about it.

Did not know her but am loving her in You are to much, she is a excellent actress really enjoying her. Could not believe this woman is 47 years young she looks amazing.

What drama was it? It sounds like Rooftop Prince that drama is a perfect example of what we are saying sister does crazy stuff to her step sister is forgiven because in the end I think she gives her a kidney ,crazy stuff. The drama has time travel and the sister is evil in both worlds. In the historical part she burns her sister to marry her intended. I don't get that mentality but I hear people love this craziness.

That's what I say it's just unreal especially the part where the say"don't hate me you made me do it" or " you brought this on yourself by your actions" to someone who was nothing but kind and nice to them. Kdramas especially let evil people be forgiven and have happy endings saying oh forgive they are family. No way if family is evil they also should pay the consequences just my opinion.

I love Zhang Han in almost anything but this was kind of lukewarm although I think his leading lady is beautiful I hope she can give of more emotion in their real life romance because in this drama she is seriously lacking. Just my opinion of course. I have watched other dramas of hers and just do not like her acting at all ,can't understand why she is used so often when there are some amazing Chinese female actors available . I love the young man from Nivana of Fire I am so glad people are appreciating his cuteness and acting.

I love this drama don't get me wrong and I know it's not perfect but there is something I really don't understand and am asking for help from Goblin watchers. Why when it was stated after the blade came out he would be free and no longer punished, was he still wandering the dessert lonely after he finally died was that not still punishment? Maybe I missed something please someone enlighten me. Thanks

Love this article you are spot on I own over 500 dramas mostly Korean but Chinese and Japanese as well. I started in 2004 at time here in the U.S we could only buy them and sometimes catch on KBS. So as I got hooked easy I bought from YesAsia who was really a great supplier for me. Thanks for letting me and others know we are not alone. I for one am grateful .

Went on your profile page and saw your list of your writings thought I would check it out, so impressed I am older but a lot of this is me at some time. I loved Kdramas or any Asian dramas since 2004 and now I have my granddaughter hooked . We love our weekends just hanging out watching dramas . I saw that Monstar is also one of your favorites mine as well. Thanks so much for writing your articles .

Oh wow I love Song Kang Ho was only able to see the Presidents Barber and Face Reader but in those he made such an impression that I tried to find if he was in a drama but could not find one. Great taste in actors.

Thanks every time I have mentioned in a comment that I am not a JH fan I have gotten hate comments back. I have really tried to like him in other dramas like Shine or go crazy which is a drama I enjoyed except for him . I started without prejudice but really cannot stand his laugh or acting. There are so many amazing Kdrama actors that I do like. Thanks for the support.

I guess I am in the minority since I am not a fan JH I don't like his voice or is dumb laugh and I know people will hate me go that, but I am entitled to my opinion, that being said this drama was better then I expected no it was not Signal but it was suspenseful and exciting to a point.
Would I recommend it yes if you like thrillers and suspense no if you are looking for anything else . Again only my opinion and I am grateful to MDL for giving us a forum to voice them.

Dado not like this actress maybe because of the roles she played but just can't warm up to her .Find her so annoying just my opinion.

I now feel that the history books are leading writers to the conclusion of tyranny and arrogance that the show in their dramas. I have been reading a little more Asian history and have found some references to that effect. I guess seeing any history displayed that way is a little disconcerting but I guess it is after all history good or bad we all have it to think about.
