I so agree with you , Joyce, I think some of the blame is with the writers portrayal of Korean families. I love Kdramas but I am going to stay away from the family ones I really don't seeing that kind of family dynamics , not being judge mental but voicing my opinion. We all get our impressions from the dramas even knowing they are exaggerated. Respecting others cultures most of us do but I don't think these writers have much respect for their culture. Or could it be they are not so proud of that part and want to show that? I don't know just a thought and we are allowed to have those on a forum without offending I hope.

I so agree these writers get worse with the ay they portray characters. I voiced my opinion on how Korean mothers are portrayed in dramas and people took offense. I feel writers need to get a grip and some fresh ideas.

Had no intention to insult anyone and if I insulted you I apologize, but I am like you entitled to my opinion in a forum to discuss it. My opinion comes as an experienced parent who raised two independent children. I know their are cultural differences and I except that but I am still as you are entitled to what I think.

I am with you., I know it's a drama and so exaggerated but if family life in Korea is anything like this it's scary. I can't believe parents can be so controlling instead of wishing their kids well they fight for who they want to marry? When I watch historicals and then modern can't see much growth in family dynamics. So sad to watch think I will stop now it's getting redundant

I agree loved his clothes and they stayed true to runway trends in Paris in 2014, shorts and flower shirts are common on the runway. He has a great stylist or a great sense of style. I loved the show thought the father was a bit much but it explained her anger in the beginning.

He is also one of my favorite actors, I love his smile and his manner he just plays his roles well. Thank you for the stalkers guide !!! You did forget one of my favorites from 2007 First Wives club he was great in that there is also one that I can't recall the name he portrayed a gay man who had the greatest family ever I loved that drama wish I could share the name.

Loved this drama because it had friendship and not hate and revenge as the focus. More dramas like this would motivate the young students struggling to find their place in the world.Coment writers ,directors and actors on a job well done for our new generation.

RIP Doo Ri my heart goes out to her family, stay strong in her memory. I feel so sad that someone 22 did not find help with her personal problems from anyone even after posting that she was having a hard time. Our world is changing so fast were people have so little compassion for others I hope we can change it back to a caring society.

No DramaPanda you are not I put of watching this for years but decided to give it a try, oh my a real mistake I really could not like this drama . The drama was not to me well written and the characters were not that like able except the almost nun. So you are not alone. But dramas are written for everyone and we like some and hate some it's what makes the drama world go round. Just saying.
