I loved this drama mostly because homeless are regarded as worthless by most people passing by them , they don't realize one unexpected event of a great financial magnitude can turn your whole world upside down even if you planned for the future your whole life. We should should all not take anything for granted and respect every person regardless of their circumstance, because there but for the grace of whatever you believe in go me or you. This drama did a lot towards that awareness. I thank the writers and directors for having the courage to make this drama and the actors for portraying it so clearly.

That's rude to say everyone is entitled to their opinion . I liked it and everyone harping on self respect when your young and in love it's not something you think about. When you get older and mature it is very important to have. Dramas are just that some we love some we don't but we are entitled to express that. Sweetyface I am just saying.

No , your not I love this to and for the life of me can't understand the negative comments, but that's what makes the world go round diversity ,it would be boring if we all enjoyed or hated the same things? The good thing is we can almost always find at least one person to share our views. I watched it 2 times and shared with friends.

You are right, but it's nice to see a little ease up on the revenge theme. I am not a revenge theme fan but I do understand it makes the dramas more interesting to some people. I feel revenge is wasted time and energy just an opinion not a fact.

Recommend this to everyone especially women about to be 40 it will give a new look at life and what it still holds. I know most young people feel 30 is old and theirs not much for seniors to experience but life begins again for all of us who have raised children and must go on . This drama is a joy to watch, Korean writers are getting so much better in giving revenge theme a rest. Enjoy drama lovers.

For me to find a Korean drama that has true friendship is so difficult,so I agree with Juste it is a good drama without the usual rich versus poor. It's light and easy to enjoy as someone else said. I gave it a chance and I am glad I did.

Great version of Mulan but the makeup made it a little weird for me how could they not see this was a female black eyeliner and lipstick on the battlefield? Someone should have noticed that in editing. But all in all not bad .

I just got to ep 20 and wanted to flip a table as well. I still don't quite get this drama righter I am slow or it's slow explaining. Oh well I will see later on.

I agree with you completely and it is a matter of perception you are so right. When we look at things like dramas we all perceive it I think from our life experience or things we read and those things sometimes cloud our perception. I just watched the amaricanized version of this and was so disappointed. It was 6 episodes so it left out some of the most important parts to understand all the motivation for the madness as I call it. When I watched the original I felt some of the parts could have been shortened but this was ridiculous. I was also expecting better subtitles no such luck. I think it's great HBO is trying to give us access to Asian dramas but they have to do it better. Save yourselves the trouble and just watch the original. This is a waste of time.

Really amazed how drama fans hate and love so intensely it's acting people. Enjoy the drama and the actors and if you hate them they are doing their job. The actor who plays second brother is amazing and I think you should really watch it again to get it. Just my opinion like you I have one and express without attitude. So don't hate appreciate.

The sequel might be something you like

It is a depiction of an Emperors history so a lot was fiction to me it was a appropriate ending but there is a sequel which I did not like but continues the story to maybe the ending people wanted

This is an amazing drama from the first to last episode.Lead actress so much better than Fan Bing Bing. I thought that this should have gotten many awards and hope it did. So much love and agony yet real to life even with the time travel a must see for anyone who likes historical sites or love dramas. I must however say the deceit and betrayed was really hard to see even though everything was explained in the end it's something I feel the writers could have done better.

I so agree this was the worse movie I have seen in a while. Did some research and found out that the lead actress has a production company that produces things with her as lead always. I don't feel she is a good actress but that's just my opinion on things I have seen with her in it. While she is beautiful her acting sucks again just my opinion.
