yeah I was wondering what he did exactly since it seemed like his family did more damage than anything else lol I'm still wondering what that sexual tension was between Aoey and Hin since it came out of nowhere. I hope there's an explanation or more development for him too! I need to know WHY he's being like that towards Gene and Nubsib. I couldn't agree with you more! I felt SOME sympathy for Aoey but when he started being all possessive towards Nubsib it was annoying. He isn't even going out with Nubsib and he's telling Gene that he can even have a crush on Nubsib, not to mention Nubsib has to decide who he wants to be with and it's pretty clear that he's rejected Aoey's advances a few times, not to mention both Gene and Nubsib have mutual feelings as seen in ep 7. I know Aoey is forcing himself towards Nubsib for the sake of popularity and perhaps to deny his feelings for Hin (his sister's friend? i think his name was) since they kissed in ep 7 which came out of nowhere lol, but still I think Aoey should stop his advances since they aren't reciprocated.

I was getting huge red flags during the dinner scene in ep. 4 about the dad and ep. 6/7 confirmed it when the dad reacted the way he did when he saw Gene and Nubsib sleeping together. It's just so sad that still in 2021 being are still homophobic. The kiss scene in ep. 7 really showed how comfortable Gene was starting to get so I'm hoping for more positive development in the remaining episodes. <3

yeah there was that too. I just find it weird that he has such a strong boundary around himself and I was wondering why he though Nubsib wasn't serious and why he would think he would joke about that. I understand that so far Nubsib has been very flirty and joking around with Gene so I can understand why he might doubt him but to have such a strong reaction makes me wonder if the Dad might have done something to make him build such a distrust towards others. I'm thinking Gene and his dad must have argued over Gene's sexuality and that's why he's so uncomfortable around others and himself. Even during the scene in ep 4 when his friends were hounding him about his sexuality he was very strong willed in denying anything. Don't get me wrong, it was totally unfair of his friends to gang up on him and hound him since coming out is a personal choice and should be done when the person is ready, but the way Gene has been so afraid makes me wonder if something happened between himself and his Dad.
there have been multiple twitter posts from the director and actors stating that they want to make season 3. BUT there hasn't been a full confirmation yet. So my guess is that they're probably gonna start filming first a bit before confirming or releasing an announcement since they filmed season 1 and 2 back to back. I'm thinking they're taking a break for now <3

personally I totally agree! It just seemed a bit over dramatic for no reason. I get that Gene was angry that Nubsib never saw him off and he thought they parted ways and was really upset that his best friend wasn't there when he was moving but it still feels a bit overkill for such a small matter. I understand that Gene was super kind to someone much younger that him among his circle of friends but it seemed like their bond was stronger than that. It just seems like some unnecessary drama thrown in for the effect of drama and personally it felt really off compared to the rest of the drama. Also anyone else getting the creepy feeling that the Dad is super homophobic? He was being super paranoid when he saw Gene and Nubsib sleep together as kids. But I mean come on, they're kids. How could he think they would even be a couple yet? And During the dinner scene in ep. 6 I think, Gene and the Dad seemed to be distant and he was uncomfortable around Gene and his job as a "writer." I'm getting super SUS vibes from the dad lol.
She is basically the nanny (her name is Ashley) for Oscar which is Shi De's brother since his mom got pregnant! His mom was also was having pregnancy problems hence the medication we saw in the special episode!
