Title Light on Me
Overall I think Ep. 3 is much better since it's starting to set things in motion! We finally can see some underlining problems that the characters are facing: Da On is a people pleaser and is afraid of being hated which is why he complies to people's wishes which makes things so much more stressful for him as a person and lonely for him. Personally I think Tae Kyung saw through that and could sense his loneliness and obsession to have people like him (Da On) since they both want people to like them. I personally feel horrible for Shi Woon since people have "dirt" on him. It's still horrible to see that people are using other people's sexuality as a pun or butt of the joke. Still it makes sense now of his hostility towards Tae Kyung if he has a crush on him. I'm really hoping that this series picks up in the next episode. I'm loving the longer episodes since there's times for more character development. The date scene for example is perfect for seeing character personality and justification for us as the audience to see why the characters act the way they do. At first I thought they were wasting airing time on the date scene but I was horribly mistaken since it really showed Da On as a character being fundamentally weak and afraid of being hated by others. Although I think giving this series a 9.2 right off the start might be a bit too generous since there's not much plot development yet to go off of, but giving it a mid 8 to 8.3 might be more appropriate but that might be me being too harsh on the rating after watching so much drama and BL in general.

Personally I still loved the development and I'm liking the characters.

I liked how they confess silently! Like the last scene when he took his arm, I screamed! Very cute and healthy
I'm not looking forward to shit hitting the fan hahaha but I think with the series being the way it is it'll get resolved within 2-3 episodes max <3

JESUS THAT SCENE WAS PERFECT! It essentially warmed the waters for them and I'm glad that YZ took the first step since he felt the tension between them so he decided to take a risk and it paid off. It was the first step for them both to start acknowledging their feelings. But damn the mom deserves "mom of the year award." She literally killed it and I have mad respect for her as a character.

LeiLei and his mommyyyyy... aw. Also, did the ratings go up?I see y’all loved ep 8 as much as I did lol
ratings totally went up and rightfully so. I think people were expecting this to be super intense and exciting, even possibly a bit more "steamy" which would explain people's first impression of the series being "boring" or too mundane, but DAMN ep 8 was wonderful. Personally I think the show deserves at least a 8.2 but if they took out some of the work drama with the side characters and instead put more develop of both the side couple and main couple it would be at least a 8.2. This series is perfectly sweet and innocent for what it is and I couldn't ask for more. It's always good now and then to watch a innocent and sweet BL drama <3

for some reason Thai BL love dragging the drama with exs now that you mention it. With the pacing of this show I feel like it might get resolved in about 2 or 3 episodes at most since we'll be on ep 9 and there's only gonna be 12 so I think you're right :)

Am I the only one that already thinks that the ex has a punchable face ? no just me ?... I mean he had 3 lines…
totally agree with you there. He has a total douchebag face and how he was working behind the scenes with the special order to get to Yu Zhen. I'm seriously hoping this guy gets a nice screw you from Shi Lei somehow. The mom was by far the best thing in the episode, besides the cute moments <3 I really hope that the ex actually brings them closer with his actions. It would be a nice screw you to him if he actually accidentally helps Shi Lei and Yu Zhen push their relationship father with his meddling. It's what he deserves for hurting Yu Zhen in whatever way he did. I'm looking forward to next week!

I'm just constantly smiling while watching this show. It's just so cute and the way the couples are progressing…
this weeks episode had me totally giddy with cuteness overload. In my opinion, this was the highlight of the series so far. Their real moments of this episode was so heart warming and I'm dying for next week!

So Shi Lei's mother is the real and best wingman of all, isn't she? She just noticed right away, and kept observing,…
this week's episode was by far the best in my opinion. It was so lovely and 10 for 10 for his mom being the best. She was so sweet and adorable and accepting. She was literally giving her son time to process his own feelings and help him along the way and she noticed it way before he did and was so supporting. The acting in today's episode was so sweet and real. Honestly when they were sleeping together and cuddling that was by far so adorable. I'm loving the pacing of this series. At first I was worried since it was super slow burn and was wondering if their relationship will build but ep 8 was the highlight of this series for me. Although the plot isn't original or special, the sweet endearing moments between the ML are adorable and watching it unfold is a treat.

The Ex looks like a total d-bag so I'm NOT looking forward to how he's gonna mess things up considering how badly he hurt Yu Zhen in the past. It took a lot of progress for YZ and SL to get close since they're finally warming up to each other and accept heir feelings for each other so I'm hoping that they'll push through.

I can't wait for next weeks ep~

it is just gonna be the first episode only that's gonna be 18 minutes? That's still awesome! But I'm hoping that the rest of the episodes are at least 15!

After reading the comments, just knowing that the same person who made WYEL and To my Star is involved in this has given me hope >.< At first I ignored this and thought it was gonna be 8 minutes of nonsense but now I've officially added this to my list! Can't wait <3

PREACH SISTER! I feel you but even 15 minutes would be a blessing rather than the usual 10. FINGERS CROSSED <3

WHY has it taken until episode 7 to get any of the 2nd couples development on-screen?? we've barely seen them…
oh honey you and the rest of the fandom RIGHT HERE. We need that bit of sizzle and spice to get going! The main couple just feels like they're still in the crush stage! We need some action!

at least with the korean shows like To My Star and Color Rush etc. they focused almost completely on the (2) main…
I completely agree! Although I'm loving the side couple and the cute interactions between the couples, I feel like the romance part is taking a huge hit. Although Korean BL are much shorter in terms of airing time, like you said, they focus more on the romance and character development that the audience can mostly forgive some small plot holes. Shows like To my Star, WYEL and Color Rush had it right in terms of romance. I just really hope that the second half of this show really delivers and sell us the romance part or else I'll have to put this one on the back burner.

Although I'm digging the adorable style of the show, and though the storyline is very generic, I'm still loving the innocence and playful nature of the show through it's characters. However the short episodes times (though longer than Korea which is fantastic) is still not enough for CHARACTER development. I'm loving the characters but 20 minute episodes with meaningless plot and sometimes focusing too much on the work and office problems rather than the characters themselves takes away from the relationship development between YZ and SL. This week's episode was fantastic for the side couple but I just feel like the main couple's relationship is going at a snails pace. We're already halfway and not much has developed between them which makes me wonder how they're gonna squish that much romance so quickly, though it's still early to tell. Overall I'm not gonna judge the show too harshly since I love me some slow burns and more soft hearted BL romances every now and then, I'm really hoping for some strong development for the main couple soon. Also I was low-key disappointed that they didn't reveal more about YZ and his past lover. I was expecting them to have a heart to heart in today's episode but sadly nothing :( Here's to hoping for better development from here on out starting next week.

oh you and me both honey, but I usually see a somewhat decent copy (although not the best) pop on youtube by the same uploader a few hours later so you can check there! it's better than waiting till tomorrow morning hahaha. I usually wait until there's a pretty decent copy the next morning and watch as I work (since I work from home) then re-watch the episode in HD for fun.

Hate to be a downer b/c I'm super excited about this, but the episodes are totally gonna be 10-15 minutes long...…
I couldn't agree more. Even if it's not 20-30 minutes, even 10 minutes with 16 episodes is a huge step. Until Korea gets a full-blown 30 minute 16 episode normal screen time (like normal kdramas....which is highly unlikely), we'll have to be VERY happy if we get 10 minutes of 16 episodes. Fingers crossed! >.<
