omg, i love your comment!!! I was cackling when he was waffling on the various meanings of like lmao! I'm rooting…
That scene literally killed me :D I'm so glad I work at home since I was watching this episode while working then I squealed in excitement. I'm rooting so much for Shinwoo. Don't get me wrong, Da On is cute but I feel like Shinwoo and Tae Kyung is end game based on people's comments down below about the bracelet. and Shinwoo is just so cute; he's just one big ball of clumsiness and awkwardness but he's so adorable <3
I couldn't agree with you more! Honestly So Hee forcing herself onto Da On made me so uncomfortable. I personally…
Tae Kyung is blunt and knows what he wants and he doesn't care what people think about him at all which makes him really strong. He didn't care in episode 1 when people were saying he's anti-social same with his old school, not did he care when he found out that Shinwoo might be gay from the fight he had with his ex-classmates. But I think you're right, until one of the two knows what they want and goes for it openly I don't think either Shinwoo or Da On deserve Tae Kyung. Tae Kyung just seems so emotionally mature whereas Shinwoo is stunted due to his horrible experience of being made fun of for being gay, therefore repressing himself and Da On whose emotionally repressed as well but I think Da On is more so emotionally strained by trying to please everyone. He's been putting on a "show" so to speak by being so nice that he might not know how to be genuine anymore so Tae Kyung is doing both of them some good by making them grow emotionally. This show is so much better than I originally thought <3
SHINWOO! He's such an adorable mess! The way he was covering up his slip up of "liking" Tae Kyung. Man I don't know who to ship with who anymore! I mean I kinda like Da On and Tae Kyung together but man I WAS ROOTING FOR SHINWOO! This is making me so nervous! I've never been this riled up for a BL love triangle before! I want poor Shinwoo to get some love since he was trying to be proactive and trying to let his feelings for Tae Kyung out but man Da On is just trying to figure out his feelings too. Based on next week's preview, it seems that Tae Kyung and Da On might be a thing! Can I just say and So Hee needs to get a nice metaphorical slap to the face to wake her up? I think Nam Goong is the one who will make her realize how wrong it is to chase someone who's not interested. She was being unnecessarily hostile and she needs to realize that people have their own feelings and mindset. The why she was manipulating Da On since she KNOWS he can't say no and never does makes me sick since she was using it to her advantage and same with implanting the idea that Da On might not actually LIKE Tae Kyung. Da On totally does since he was feeling jealous of Shinwoo. And is it just me or did I sniff out some future shipping going on for Nam Goong and So Hee which would be nice to see. So far I'm feeling so conflicted! This show is amazing but man THAT SCENE when SHinwoo grabbed the back of Tae Kyung's head and was cleaning his wound was making me squeal.
I ship everyone with some self-growth and possibly therapy! Except Namgoong and Tae Kyung, you guys are doing…
I couldn't agree with you more! Honestly So Hee forcing herself onto Da On made me so uncomfortable. I personally like Da On and am happy he's trying to be more open with his feelings and I'm rooting for both Da On and Shinwoo but I feel so bad since Shinwoo was trying his best and poor Da On was trying to be more open with his feelings. I'm just so conflicted with who should be with whom. I have a feeling though that what you said might be the case since Da On doesn't like displeasing people. He might start to back off when he notices Shinwoo's feelings for Tae Kyung. BUT If he stands and fights then that would be interesting to see Shinwoo and Tae Kyung setting aside their jealousy towards each other and letting Tae Kyung take the first step. To be honest I'm rotting for Shinwoo but man Da On is adorable when he's crushing on Tae Kyung. I just felt that Tae Kyung is the most honest and true to his feelings which like you said is great for communication.
omg love your comment! Ikr, felt so bad for shinwoo, his eyes expressed so much emotion at the moment when he…
Yeah it was uncalled for when So hee was being all possessive. She needs to calm the hell down and realize Da On isn't interested. Shin woo trying to stop Tae Kyung was absolutely adorable since it seems like he's finally opening up and is crushing hard on Tae Kyung just like Da On. Personally I think the moment Tae Kyung told Da On that he can tell him anything is the moment when he was hit with a huge realization that he's starting to like Tae Kyung since So Hee's words played back so he's totally crushing on Tae Kyung. I'm DYING for some Shintae moment here! I ship them more together but man Da On is making it hard since he's stealing screen here :P I'm loving this but I really want Shinwoo to have some love in this show. I think in tomorrow's episode there will be more screen time for Shinwoo. Personally I think Shinwoo and Tae Kyung would make a fabulous couple. But we'll have to see who's end game!
Okay Firsly Shinwoo with the cake was adorable since I didn't think he'd be that gullible! Nam Goong is a little devil :P I love the guy. Secondly when he grabbed onto Tae Kyung and tried to stop him from leaving was adorable! He was trying to take the first step but it seems that Tae Kyung is developing crush on Da On and vice versa! My poor son Shinwoo was left on the side bench this week! Btw anyone else notice how Shinwoo was staring at Tae Kyung THE WHOLE TIME When Da On left? He was super worried that Tae Kyung would leave and was watching his every move. The shoe scene was cute too <3 I'm loving proactive Shinwoo here trying to woo our baby Tae Kyung.
Can I just say that So Hee is beginning to piss me off? Like poor Da On has literally ditched her so many times and she JUST DOESN'T GET IT. He's not interested yet she's grabbing Tae Kyung and arguing with him. Jesus this women needs to chill. I hate women like this in BL and she just had to be a major bitch. I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but man she's clingy and rude. In tomorrow's episode, you can tell she's trying to make Tae Kyung back off. And how dare she say to Da On that it's weird for him to like Tae Kyung and vice versa? She walking around like she owns Da On and I'm glad in the preview Tae Kyung had the guts to say that Da On doesn't belong to her. I agree, Da On has his own feelings and is starting to realize them at the end of today's episode. SO She doesn't have the right to invalidate his own feelings when she's pushing her own feelings onto Da On.
Overall things are starting to spice up! I hope tomorrow's episode has some more process for our poor Shinwoo :(
Alright, so my thoughts now...It seems like when Yohan has plotted his revenge against all who were in the church…
That's the one thing that has been bothering me for so long! I was wondering WHY would his mention give him such an important tasks? Why make a lay graduate whose practically a baby to "spy" on Yo Han? It's been nagging at me this whole time! And I was sitting thinking "man if you want to get some dirt on Yo Han and you're the minister of Supreme Court or whatever you should be able to have better, capable men to do your work for you or do it yourself. Why make a young, innocent and naïve lawyer do all your dirty work? That NEVER made sense but I never thought about him being the main baddy since I thought Sun Ah was the main villain since she's clearly crazy but maybe there's more than 1 villain and it'd made more sense this way. Plus his mentor seemed a bit off when he was in the meeting and falsely accusing Yo han with the other members and police dudes.
I'm personally DYING for the moment when Ga On and Yo Han will work together since Yo Han was clearly starting to open up and feel more at ease with life when Ga On was cooking for them. Plus I'm loving how Yo Han isn't a complete monster that we all thought he was in the beginning. I had a sneaking suspicion that he wasn't, especially the story about the maid (Sun Ah) jumping out the window. Yo Han isn't your typical psychopath and clearly didn't show any of the signs. When I heard that story I wasn't convinced so I'm glad I was right. But the story about his brother is still half a lie since Sun Ah seemed to suggest that she knows the full story when she tied Yo Han to the chair and abducted him like a creep.
Also the story about Ga On's family being part of the live court next week seems interesting. I think that Ga On's dad was involved with the foundation or something so maybe Yo Han wanted to use that to get Ga On on his side, or perhaps he wants to clear up the TURTH about Ga On's dad's debt and the truth to get Ga On on his side. We all know Yo Han is an opportunist but he's not ALL bad since he cares deeply for his niece and has some attachments to Ga On. I'm thinking when Sun Ah took Yo Han's bracelet (which was Issacs's) that she knew that Yo Han had some attachments to Ga On since he claimed not to have anything important but she knew he was lying. He was trying to protect Ga On already after barely knowing him after Ga On protected him from the bomb in ep 2 and 3. Even Yo Han's secretary dude said "are you doing thing for Ga On?" and he couldn't respond. I'm totally thinking that maybe Ga On's dad getting involved in the case next week is maybe Sun Ah's doing since she already tried to screw Yo Han over with the actor and his sexual assault case by trying to make Ga On castrate him so I wouldn't be surprised if she tries to poke at Yo Han's weakness but targeting Ga On. Either way I can't wait for episode 7.
It's so exciting to see these two cuties getting older and acting in more mature dramas! I totally fell in love with Da Reum in "come and hug me" since he was so good at acting out his character and Sae Ron has gotten so pretty! I ADORED her in "the man from nowhere" so it's a REAL treat to see her so mature now. I CAN'T WAIT. <3
This week's episode was ADORABLE. The "I love you game" was hilarious and absolutely cute. It really helped both Tae Kyung and Shinwoo to break out of their shells, loosen up and really be themselves. Plus did anyone else notice Shinwoo having a mini hart attack when Tae Kyung said "I love you" to him? He was totally shocked for a second there. The forehead flicking scene WAS CHEF'S KISS. Sometimes Tae Kyung can really be mature for his age and he was so sweet for not holding a grudge against Shinwoo for all the stunts he pulled in the previous episodes and let things go. Shinwoo's ears were soooo red and he was so shy hahah. That scene with Shinwoo and Tae Kyung when they were bickering over carrying things out of the classroom was so DOMESTIC. They were like a married couple I swear that was so cute. THAT CATCH THOUGH! Shinwoo is proactive when he needs to be and the tension between them was spicy that even Shi woon noticed it, plus he's such a good wingman by giving them chances to interact so props to Shi woon <3
Also I find it super sad that Da On drew his "family portrait" the way he did. He drew all the people in white without faces; he definitely is feeling isolated and neglected from him parents which sucks since he's a very hard working person, regardless of him trying to be a people pleaser, deep down he just wants to feel loved and not getting that from family has got to hit so hard. I can't imagine not being loved by my own parents and him being neglected is horrible.
I think this week's episode is the best so far and I'm now fully invested. Before I was wary but I'm sold now. I can't wait for next week <3
yeah I was worried about that since Tae Kyung said that he "can't be friends with Da On" so I'm think there might…
yeah I really want Shinwoo to be with Tae Kyung so badly ahahah but I think there's gonna some more tension and drama before that happens. This love triangle is gonna kill me >:D
Daon maybe Taegyeong’s first love but I feel like Shinwoo endgame.
yeah I was worried about that since Tae Kyung said that he "can't be friends with Da On" so I'm think there might be a little crush before anyone gets to together.
Wow I wouldn't have thought of that! I hope it's that deep, it'll get really interesting if it is.
haha thanks! I hope it is and that it's not simple. I just hope I'm not over thinking this and I hope it's more tragic. Dramas like these tend to start off with a bang but end up being disappointing with a lack luster ending so I hope this is the exception. I've watched the episodes about 2 times now and I watched ep 1 and 4 about 3 times to get all the details so I hope SOME of my theory is correct.
This show is honestly fantastic in the way it shows conflict, interpersonal relationships and self-esteem issues.…
I'm not sure but a lot of people use vpn. I mostly use about 4 or 5 different websites when watching dramas so I have free access although not fully legal it's still faster sometimes. Send me a PM if you're interested in the websites I use. They don't require making an account, or monthly subscription. As long as you have ad blocker or some antivirus you'll be fine to watch for free. Just message me if you're interested.

I'm honestly so excited. Usually slice of life isn't my thing at all and I usually stay away from them since I find it hard to read through character interactions and behaviour but this one is sweet and awesome to see especially in a BL. Peeling back the layers of each relationship and friendship is gonna be so much fun!
I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's episode. I just hope that there will be more sexual tension between them and I didn't even notice his ears turning red in the preview but if it happens again that's just adorable :P And I definitely think after the fight Shinwoo had with his former classmates that he started falling for Tae Kyung even more since he was jealous as all hell when Da On was teaching him in the library.
I LOVE the MDL comments threads. I swear it's like the central hub for everything which is fantastic to theorize and speculate with others as you watch which makes you appreciate each and every drama even more <3 I'm so looking forward to tomorrow and I can't wait to hear your thoughts ;)
But I mean.. Do we believe Yo Han story? I'm confused. Is it true or not?...!
lots of people think he's half lying and half telling the truth. I made a huge analysis in the comment above about it and down below but there's too many inconsistencies about his story in episode 4 and what we saw in episode 1 flashback from Yo Han's perspective. When he told Da On was half the truth. He definitely saved his niece I think, but I think his brother was trying to kill the founding members and he tried to stop him. It explains why he said "people love stories like this" meaning people love a tragic hero rather than the "villain" his brother might have become.
okay so hear me out, after re-watching episode 1 and episode 4 back to back of the fire scene, I noticed a bunch of weird things about Yo Han's version of his story about the fire. I mentioned this in a huge comment down below but he was half lying. A few people have also mentioned this but it's very possible that his brother started the fire. I think his brother did it in revenge against the foundation members.
Firstly in episode 1 at the end of the court scene when Yo Han and Da On are staring at each other we see Yo Han's view of the fire; his brother Isaac was standing in the fire alone, so I think everyone got out and he either wanted to kill himself or he wanted to kill the founding members since they might have screwed Isaac over with the so called "donation" and manipulated him or threatened him to give all his assets away. In retaliation, he might have wanted to burned all the members in the church. That or Yo Han felt so guilty that he couldn't save his brother that he was imagining him standing there.
Secondly, in Yo Han's version of the fire in episode 4 he apparently saved his niece and then passed out when rubble fell on him. I think that part might be right but then again in episode 1 we see Yo Han sitting in front of Isaac's body holding his niece's teddy bear so either he passed out carrying her out and then came back for Isaac like he said he would, or he came too late to stop his brother from burning the church. If you look closely I didn't see a beam on Isaac's body in episode 1 flashback like there was in episode 4. So either he was trying to stop Isaac from killing everyone or maybe Isaac was trying to commit mass suicide. This might be me reaching too much but it might be why Yo Han feels so guilty, even in episode 5 preview. Also why Yo Han said "people love stories like this" meaning people love the idea of a tragic hero and want to see his brother that way when his brother really wanted to get revenge against the foundation and he's just finishing his brother's last wish.
Thirdly, the fire in episode 1 seemed to have popped out of a vent by a chair rather then the doors that the priest opened in episode 4. And it doesn't make sense if Isaac wanted to endanger his wife and daughter so again my theory might be far fetched but that's the only thing I could think of. It also might be why that former inspector was paid off and opened a restaurant after getting all that money if the foundation paid him off to stop investigating Isaac's death if they manipulated Isaac out of his money for whatever reason and he wanted to kill them.
Still my theory doesn't completely add up either since it doesn't explain why he went after the fireman for his brother's watch or the timeline of the events that went down or why his niece hates Yo Han so much or the house ownership thing the nanny said. Either way I'm wondering if Isaac really wanted to kill everyone. Thoughts?
