Ahh watched it and I have to say it was brilliant! One of the best japaneese queer dramas i've watched. Didn't realize it was from the same director. Well now I don't have to be worried no more. Ik its gonna be a rollercoaster ride of emotions which im down for.

Loved this! However wished they kept some of the funny interactions between chu san and liyu yi from the book. I also feel like some important scenes were cut off but its fine, this series does the book justice. Also wished the showed more interaction with the cops as well.
While liyu's character and the fight scenes were toned down i don't mind it at all. I remember reading somewhere that they had budget issues also but honestly kudos to the production crew and actors for making such a brilliant drama.
My only wish is that is that this series won't be hit with the curse of "2nd season" cuz all CBL's end up as remakes without s2.
