The actions of the FL at the end of the second episode pissed me off. I'm thinking of letting these finish before watching this again.

I wish they cast Chen He Yi again in costume drama. I really like his look and performance in Warm on a Cold Night.

I know right. I've watched all of Yibo's works and this is the only time his chemistry with FL is palpable and credible. This pairing has a lot of unrealized potential, it's a shame we might not see them together again.

It would have been fine if you were actually pushing for a proven top actor and an accomplished xianxia drama star like Cheng Yi, Luo Yun Xi or Liu Xue Yi but your here banging the drums because some upstart who doesn't exactly have a stellar record in xianxia isn't ML. Maybe he'll get a breakthrough with Lost Your Forever as one of the 3 ML's or piggyback on the popularity of Till The End of the Moon. Still those are in future tense and their success is still not guaranteed.

Leave then since your favorite actor may no longer be the lead. You still haven't answered the question what accomplishment and unique ability Deng Wei has that you are rude and dismissive to his potential replacement. Starring in 2 completed train wreck xianxia productions isn't exactly a ringing endorsement of his capability.

And what about Deng Wei then? What has he accomplished other than starring in 2 poor xianxia dramas I will never ever watch. As someone pointed out before he is also starring in other upcoming xianxia dramas. Why are his fans trying to corner the market of xianxia roles?

Zheng Ye Cheng does historical extremely well. Well you just need to watch The Sleepless Princess to see angst and him longing for the FL. I reckon this would be his first xianxia drama but I'm confident he will do well if he is the ML.

A rather unhelpful and pointless comment. I'm glad this did not turn into a syrupy romantic drama when the investigative and mystery plot was the primary reason I watched this in the first place.

I don't watch modern dramas these days but I have to make an exception for Liu Yi Chang and his handsome face. I am liking this so far.

What a nicely matched couple in terms of visuals. Both have naturally beautiful faces. I am saying this because I've only just started watching Word of Honor and I was thinking how beautiful Gong Jun's sidekick was and wished there more new lead actresses like her 😂. No offense but early 90's have a lot of classic (not cute) beauties such as Bai Lu, Dilraba, Gulinazha, PXR, Li Qin... Great to see she is actually in lead roles now.

I don't mind honestly but maybe if she sticks with the younger Gen Y like the leads of Addicted Heroin Johnny Huang and Timmy Xu(borderline much younger) than always playing the noona role with obviously younger actors Song Wei Long, Oliver Chen or now with Dylan Wang. Maybe people might have less objections with it.

I think Hu Ge is the quintessential Chinese Paladin hero. Sadly no one can top his performance in CP 1 & 3.

Well if that's the case then it will likely go to Yang Mi. But she's also doing another xianxia drama in Fox Spirit Matchmaker. Honestly though YM will never outdo her performance in Eternal Love and the Si Ming role will always be in the shadow of Bai Qian if she ever takes it. I feel like Si Ming role should remain with Li Yi Tong who can give it justice and who already has an affinity for the role.
