I've just realized something, I haven't seen the obligatory shower scene yet.

It's incredibly frustrating watching this and I'd personally kill 75% of the characters here including the 2nd FL and 2nd ML plus the entire righteous sect leaders because they are all useless.

The righteous sects are all talk and not much in the way of results.

The obsessive and petty Xiao Zhan fans in this page are beyond psychotic. Everyone has a right to voice rheir opinions and their dislikes on this drama. The ones who are camping here wanting everyone to have a cheery and flowery opinions on this series are the ones who are dragging this thread down. If you can't take criticisms don't bother coming here as this thread is for discussion of this show.

If she was indeed a good actress then why do you think a lot of people seem to have a problem with her performance here. Obviously she is lacking the charisma or the performance skill to elevate this performance and hide her plainness.

Yes Gulinazha is not a good actress but why do you think she keeps getting cast and getting good ratings for her dramas. I think we all know the reason and Ren Min is no match on this department.

It would be fine if she was a good actress and importantly a charismatic performer but for me she fits neither criteria. I'll watch this drama for Alen Fang and Xiao Zhan.

After watching Bai Lu, Zhou Ye, and Gulinazha dramas back to back I feel this FL looks rather underwhelming to say the least.

I've seen many Chinese dramas where cousins have romantic feelings especially the ones with biaomei having one sided love to biaogei. These are maternal cousins of course so it might be accepted. I don't recall seeing cousins from the same clan with a love line so far.

WTH that Puyang Bo is a dishonest a** licker. He went all hysterical when something happened to ML now he is all cool and even wanting to hide the crimes of that despicable weapons merchant because he likes his daughter.

Great looking couple. Hankiz Omar is very pretty and Alen Fang is my type of male beauty. I'm still hoping for Dilraba and Alen but another Uyghur beauty isn't too bad.

Hopeful and crossing fingers this is a better adaptation than the train wreck drama version of Once Promised 曾许诺.

The 7 years age gap is not believable as CZY is a baby face and in reality there's only 2 years gap in real life. Song Wei Long, Wu Lei or Artuur Chen who are younger are actually more believable playing the older brother role.

Tian Huan is right up there with the most hateful antagonists I've seen in all of dramaland. This **atch is seriously testing every ounce of my patience.

This drama was actually the first time I saw Tan Jianci. He made a really memorabl performance here as Cao Pi. I thought this guy is cute and a good actor too. That was 5 or so years ago now.
