This doesn't look like a character Yang Zi would play. FL seems to be a resentful and bitter character.

Yup this was an exceptionally harsh rating especially for a drama that was well received in China and had a lot of memorable moments. I enjoyed this one as well and looking forward to the second season.

LOL I agree. I couldn't recognize that she was Bai Xue Ying until I checked her MDL page. She looked rather plain in TLP and then in MJTY, she sometimes reminded me of Liu Yifei.

She looked really pretty and seductive in MJTY that I couldn't make the connection to the plain and meek character Bai Xue Ying in the Longest Promise.

Which actor? Gong Jun?? I would love to see Ryan as ML with my gal Bai Lu. This role seems to be right up his alley.

This has to be one of the most well casted drama I've seen in recent years. Everyone did well in their roles. I especially like the fact you really don't have an annoying or obnoxious filler character here. I will never understand why Chinese audience did not like it as much. This is an exceptional drama. Dark, foreboding and a very emotional work.

Tiger and Crane was a letdown after watching MJTY. For ZLH fans I suppose.

Mkvdrama has this in HD. It's my go to site for Asian dramas.

What I like most about this drama is the much improved cinematography and direction in comparison to previous BL Korean dramas from recent years. They felt like low budget film school projects, this one on the other hand has a noticeably better production quality.

Have you seen the Queen's Umbrella? He delivered a mature performance as the tragic Crown Prince. He certainly did not look like a young and inexperienced man in that drama.

I'm quite sure Wang Zi Xuan and Luke Chen are the second leads here.

What is the relevance of that clout chasing third rate YouTube critic hating on MJTY, which BTW is actually one of the better dramas this year, to this upcoming drama. What's the deal? And why is the opinion of that single person so important. Are her opinions and views somehow infallible.
