If you are only starting to watch this, don't go perusing the cast list as it reveals major spoilers on the identities of the culprits and personalities in the investigations.

Lu Ling Feng is back to being overbearing and stubborn in this first episodes. I think he might be even more arrogant now than when he was introduced.

I think the writers tried to make an equivalence between the FL grandfather's opposing the emperor early in the drama with her theatrical and absurd dramatic performance in the finale. What a laughable comparison. She just came off as ridiculous and full of herself.

You could almost forget that Shaoyao was ML sister and a member of the imperial family. She look like someone they pick up from the street and she remains that way entire drama. An extra character they inserted for the required second pairing. The 2nd ML they showed in the poster barely shows up and is only there for filler where his scene consists of a shouting match between him and his father.

The most Mary Sue character ever in cdramaland so damn perfect you'll always end up on the wrong side if you decide against her. One of the most laughable example is the FL picking up some illiterate country bumpkin who she turn into an accountant. Her poor aunt became the hapless spectator and the cautionary tale on always following what FL decides.

They spent more time in some baby bathing ritual while glossing over deaths of family members they dislike. WTH I know she was hateful but the eldest daughter of the family died such a shocking death and the family was so nonchalant about it. Both the ML father and his stepmother died and it was just like some random panhandler died, heck he didn't even inform his sister.

Can't wait. I've rewatch the first season a couple of times already. Hopefully we get interesting and fresh mysteries this season.

More lies to continue your failed narrative. You continue to neglect the fact Japanese dramas have long-term defects that have not been addressed. That is why it has been left behind by many Asian countries. You can pat your back and self congratulate yourself your judgement is right but I can't be bothered to watch dramas from countries that haven't shown any improvement since the last millennium.

That's over the top. I don't think the Japanese did very well. Otherwise the people who watched those dramas would give them a higher score than what they have currently. I have not given them a rating as I only fast forwarded through them so it would not be fair to rate them. Your talking as if you were talking about universally acclaimed dramas, that's far from the truth.

Here is someone who will never like the Japanese original more over this one. Honestly I always prefer the foreign adaptations more than the Japanese adaptations of their own mangas. I really do not like the manic style, the short runtime and the crazy and abrupt transitions they do.

I really like My School President and from my impression in the first episode of this drama, this one is also a good watch. I might just be a little obsess with this pairing as I'm currently rewatching the first episode.

I need a proper kissing scene from this couple but I'm sceptical as this is another high school dramas.

I commend this couple for having realistic and meaningful kisses.

CXX is much better fit with Dilraba, their looks go well together. This pairing gives off a more mature vibe.

Cheng Lei is going to be overshadowed by FL again. This is too similar to Legend of the Female General. This is pretty much a rehash of the story.

TJR got unresolved conflict with LYX in My Journey to You so hopefully she will be considered.

Before this series I couldn't really get into or was interested into watching bl dramas. The only BL drama I completed before this was 1000 Stars which was great quality but not the type that will make you watch some obscure BL youth dramas. Let's just say after this I pretty much went crazy watching other school dramas like this.

Just watched this one this month. I've been on a BL binge and finally saw this for the first time. Way below the quality of My School President and 1000 Stars which I watched after they came out.

Great chemistry with main leads but the other pairings are just decorations. They were pointless and uninteresting.

That rat face love rival has to be one of the most irritating and unwelcome things in this drama. Like a giant stool that wouldn't flush.
