They keep saying the two races can't be together and they can't have children but then Kaka's mother is Qi and his father a Qian. This seems to me an inconsistency in the plot.

I really like Lee Se Young in historical dramas. Also Bae In Hyuk looked promising in Under the Queen's Umbrella.…
She has the demeanor and the carriage of a noble lady. She's perfect for historical dramas.

OMG, so Avenue X has done a review of this (not good... surprise!).Since she couldn't come up with any real stuff…
All I can say to that third rate and wannabe influencer is that this drama is entirely a fictional universe so it doesn't necessarily conform to real Chinese culture and history. I fail to see the relevance of that kind of unserious and ridiculous criticism.

This is the first xianxia I've watched where the mortal timeline moves at the same speed as the immortal realm. The emperor even got to meet the heavenly emperor, the void king and the beast king haha.

This show is one of the rare instances where I want to kill off most characters. Except for ZZH's character and Chengleng I would kill every single one in the end. Please tell me the ones that need to die all die.

I've breezed through 18 episodes of this and I'm eagerly waiting for the next episodes. This kind of historical mystery/detective dramas are right my alley.

Just started this and I'm already fed up with the FL's antics. She is the most irritating lead character I've ever come across in xianxia land. I am already 5 episodes in and her outrageous behavior is not improving.

Give me the naivete of Jinmi, the effervescence of Xiao Lanhua or the elegance and haughty arrogance of Bai Qian all day, everyday. This FL however is a bad parody of a sidekick in a D class comedy.

I like this pairing. Honestly Ruoxi should have ended up with 14th prince instead of having a tragic affair with the guy Liu Shi Shi married in real life.
On Perfect Mismatch Feb 18, 2023
This character is a rehash of the role the FL played in Gank Your Heart, spunky and somewhat heavy handed. I did not have a good impression of her performance there. Hopefully she does have another attack on this role. Maybe try becoming a more sympathetic character.

The rumored cast isnt real, Weibo fans of the novel made up rumors to pitch Linghe and Zuer to Stellar Media who…
An asshole, this is perfect for Oliver Chen. He plays domineering and controlling yet sympathetic at the same time.
On The Starry Love Feb 15, 2023
Love Oliver plus Ashes of Love universe interests me. It's been a long time since any xianxia drama captured my attention. I feel like they could still improve and make a better drama than the original unlike say TMOPB where the subsequent sequels could never do.

I can't believe people are crying over Gu Qinngzhan, the man whose revenge was paved with bodies and who planned…
You should at least put this in a spoiler because it is one and second of all your long winding post and rant on why the ending was the greatest thing since apple pie does not sit right with me or a lot of people dissatisfied with this garbage ending. Also I don't give a damn what happen to Wang Dou's character. Your pathetic attempt at trying to blanket and sidetrack the real issue with your blatantly false reasoning is only match by the level of whitewashing in this drama. What I wanted was truth and justice to come to light because that is what the snake oil salesmen level screenwriters led me to believe from the start. I did not expect to be sold hot air and vacuous political diarrhea.
