wow, what’s wrong with the rating? only yesterday i saw it’s 8.5. it’s really a good drama. please give it a try. it’s really wuxia that wuxia-ing. i cant tell enough how obsessed i am towards this drama. it’s so damn good!
i’m so sad seeing Ruyi at the last 10 mins of episode 10. please boss Ning & Yuan Lu comeback faster. your squad might chopped her into 31 pieces though that hardly impossible to happen.
anyway, i live for this wuxia packed kind of drama. and it’s really wuxia that wuxia-ing, look at them spinning, kicking, flying.. and shi san fight in the most beautiful way possible in his white costume. indeed coming from ‘the most handsome man’ as he claimed.
I’m so obsessed with this drama. Ren Ruyi being a realistic mother, she’s already calculating every single aspects for her future child. hahaha im dead the way she tried to make yuanzhou become her child’s father. she’ll keep pursuing until she get it, that’s for sure 😂

wow, episode one left me speechless. this drama took assassin to the whole different level. the cinematography just top notch, the camerawork, the martial arts portrayal are at its finest. liu shishi, what a fine lady you are! age like a fine wine, i watched her in bu bu jing xin before. truly, i’m so seated for this. for anything that I watched this year (wuxia specifically), i think this one just blow my mind. I hope it gets better and better!
petition for the full drama of past lives in SOKP to be shown. that’s gonna be hella lit. i think the story might be more engaging if they show us the past lives in the first half of the drama and the redemption in the second half.
the past lives deserved its own drama tbh. i need to see the badass and cunning ning’er, the evil face and monstrous xie wei, yan lin with his revenge, zhang zhe with his loyalty and kindness, also the palace that become a living hell for all the characters. we need for once to see how hell looks like in the drama.
the way i grief for Zhang Zhe. He lost his mother and at the same time, lost his lover too. this, is the turning point. like the past that cannot be changed, there’s no way for JXN & ZZ to be together.
it’s been a great ride, my dearest! i shed so much tears for this drama, my stomach and heart filled with butterflies from the warmth of Jang Hyun & Gil Chae love. they’re two ordinary human who went through everything, who survived for the sake of each other. who relationship were tested with ego, misunderstanding, responsibilities and different perspectives about life and love. this drama is one of the drama that i rated 10/10 in 2023 just after watching the 4th episodes (in part 1). everything about this drama just so perfect and well portrayed.
now that it ends, i finally can breathe in peace. I honestly, prepared myself for the worse. but am so happy, that at the end, they belong to each other. and for once, i yearned for this drama to not end in sad ending (though i love sad ending so much). for once, after so much they’d gone through, these two fictional characters, deserves so much to be happy.

Thank you Nam Goongmin & Ahn Eun Jin, you guys bring the character Jang Hyun & Gil Chae to alive. with that, we able to witness this epic love story that gives both joy and pain, and everything else in between. hopefully, this drama will make NGM & AEJ bag all those acting awards. they freakin deserved it!

i dont think she should be bound with her past lives, but i dont think she should neglect it either. after all, she’s been given a chance to correct her past mistakes and change her fate. so, the past lives is the reminder for her to act better and be a better person. i do think what if she can change the ending and still be with Zhang Zhe at the end? but again, it’s not that her memory from past lives can be erased, though she perhaps managed to change the ending, the past lives will be a constant reminder that she used to take a wrong path, she used to be a greedy person that caused so much pain and misery to others. so, to embrace it and just live in the moment will be the act of selfishness, and knowing ning’er, i dont think she can do that.
goodbye Zhang Zhe. It’s good while it lasted. now, we see the past lives, the death of your mother and the caused of it, the glimpses of hope just disappears into thin air.
i hope between jiang xuening & zhang zhe, there’ll be a proper closure at the end. they might not be together, but i do believe what they used to have were genuine and pure. too bad, whatever happened in the past is too painful to be ignored. if zhang zhe cant remember his past live, ning’er still will be haunted with this nightmare even if she can change the current ending. and to live with that, i dont think ning’er and him will be happy and in peace as they wishes for each other.

then xie wei shouldn’t be mad too at ning’er for ruining his plan (hope he didn’t in the next eps). after all, she didn’t have the knowledge about it. and at that time, ning’er priority is to save zhang zhe. it’s understandable for her actions.
my head is so dizzy. zhang zhe’s everywhere trying to save the troops from getting lured and trapped. he and his sense of justice really are good but kinda annoying at times. but, understandable. since yeah, that’s him, he’s that kind of person.
while xie wei (with the the same habit), always doing something first without telling ning’er his whole plan. i bet his ass will be so freakin angry to ning’er for ruining his plan. why don’t you guys communicate the whole plan and knowing ning’er personality who can’t leave zhang zhe just like that, so she did what she did best with her own capabilities.
ning’er is smart to even figure out xie wei’s intention. i cant even believe that i read people call her idiot for her actions. more often, i think she’s the smart one in here.
