I'm still surprised that this is so well received. The production is great, the acting too, but we all knew the…
Interestingly enough, I personally find Vee's character to be portrayed as the worse person out of the two. I can sort of understand Mark's actions since in my opinion he did show that sensitivity by not being able to deal with a heartbreak and overwhelming emotions while the excessive neediness was brought up in him more after he got drunk. Meanwhile Vee was the one who could've stopped the sexual advances from Mark, yet instead he submitted to it despite being aware that Mark wasn't even able to distinguish him from Bar at the time (and also the fact that he ditched his girlfriend to sleep with a guy who was making him rage just an hour before it),
I do agree with you though as I feel like they both could've been written better. I just wanted to comment that I had the exact opposite impression lol.
I think you're mixing up sing and TolSing is the Er doctor and Tins friend. While Tol is the one who keeps dying
No no, I know who both of them are. I just remember that during the first loop Tin had to keep persuading Sing to change the shift with him. They were friends even then, but Sing seems to have quite a cold personality overall and to me it looks like he only started warming up to Tin during the later loops.
Triage is on my brain 24/7 now so I want to share my thoughts lol.
I thought this was a plothole at first, but then I started thinking the reason why Sing seems to be growing closer to Tin in every loop is because the emotions carry over even if the memories don't. Because in the first loop Sing seemed to be cold towards Tin and was unwilling to take over his shift, but in the next ones he suddenly became okay with it and even took over multiple ones. It would make sense for Sing to have grown closer to Tin in the previous loops thanks to them interacting more and Tin reuniting Sing with Rit. Sing and Tol are both characters who Tin wasn't on good terms with at first and they've both had a change in attitude.
And if this were to be true, then the romance would be really sweet too. We've seen Tol being more willing to interact with Tin in every new loop, opening up easier and listening to Tin's advice about protecting Rit, all before regaining his memories. So this would mean Tol has been progressively falling for Tin because the feelings from each loop kept piling up. And I think it would make sense if the final loop is about to happen in the next episode since Tol will feel a strong connection to Tin, regain his memories earlier and feel the emotions along with knowing their past story.
Also I can't stress enough how good of a drama this is because I usually don't like mystery stories unless I can get invested in them and think about possible theories :)
The preview is disturbing; but maybe Tin can save Tol this time.I have doubts, however, it's too early in the…
I'm thinking that Tin might need to work on the loop together with Tol which firstly required him to create an emotional connection between them so Tol would gain the ability to recall the previous loops as well. First time he remembered as he was dying, this time it was in the middle of the week and the next could be after one day. That's why Jinta would've first told Tin to save Tol and later reveal the objective is to stop the whole organ-trafficking scheme.
So far the condition to clear the loop seems to be convincing Rit to sue Sak and the first step to achieve that is preventing Tol from stealing the project idea and not having Rit be accused of cheating. Having Tol regain his memories very early into the loop would also allow Tin to focus on solving the case instead of having to spend extra time on flirting with Tol (though they're still going to flirt even if Tol does regain memories lmao). Also I think the attacker with knife from this ep is probably going to be addressed again since Tin brought up his sudden appearance, but hasn't figured out the reasoning.
And yes, I can't imagine how this loop can last for 4 more episodes, it seems like way too long haha. (This is all a speculation and most likely wrong lmao).
That preview is giving me an impression that this was not the last loop and we're about to witness the saddest and most emotional ending before the final loop begins. Hopefully I'm wrong, but if it does happen, I think Tol will at least remember sooner this time since his memory of previous loops probably grows more vivid as he gets closer to Tin.
yes I was shocked it's now at 6.8 lol it deserves better ratings honestly I don't know if they are trolling or…
I'm guessing it might have possibly been mass downvoted or botted, I once saw another drama go from down by like 2 stars in a single day so it can happen.
I think that my taste in BLs just doesn't align with the average BL viewer on MDL. I'm a big fan of ridiculous comedies where the entire plot consists of occurrences which could never or would hardly happen in real life, yet the storyline still has a direction and leads to an outcome. However, judging by what I've seen so far, these kinds of dramas usually get low ratings on here. So for me skipping over dramas with low ratings would mean missing out on the kinds of stories I enjoy. But yes, it is just a matter of personal opinion as a lot of mediocre dramas which I wasn't a fan of have a higher rating than this.
Oh wow, so it dropped under 8.0 yesterday. I'm impressed, this is giving me hope that the standard for BLs is actually rising this year and we might be seeing an overall improvement of quality from now on.
Kuea spent exactly 0 seconds questioning why and how long Lian knew about all of the secrets he's been trying to hide for the entire season and then they had a make out session.
I'd say that's a good summary of this entire trainwreck of a series lmao.
I am with you!!! It was a good novel... Very poor screenwriting. Time management is so bad. They didn't use the…
Thank you for your recap of the novels!
It's a shame some of these parts never got shown since they're probably only going to be mentioned at the very end of the drama with a rushed ending :/
With LianKuea's story it really sounds like they needed to have the proposal scene a lot sooner and been given more time to show their relationship after all the issues got resolved. YiDiao should've had their own series, but this has already been mentioned by several users around here.
If the characters in the novel were acting childish, the screenwriters should've trimmed that personality trait instead of keeping it in and deleting everything else. I'm all for dramas modifying the storyline if it can bring a better result, but this just sounds like it got worse.
I understand your view on NuerSyn better now. I like their dynamic too much to give up on them, but it really doesn't make sense why they were included with so much story missing.

I haven't read the novels so I have no idea how much the story in them differed from the drama.
I do have to disagree with you on NuerSyn since I have more of a preference towards slow and cute type of stories rather than the mature kind, but I understand that your taste is different :) Also since the screenwriting never made me sympathize with the main couples, I didn't really care about hearing their full stories so I suppose that's the difference between novel readers and non-readers.
There could've been a lot of trimming done when it comes to the fanservice (thought I understand why the production pushed so much of it into the series) and the LianKuea scenes which weren't relevant to the plot as well. So I just think the whole time-management of all storylines was done poorly and there wasn't enough attention put to the actual plot of the novels.
The best thing to come out of this drama is all the discussion about toxic relationships, red flags, bad screenwriting and the low standard of BLs. It's been great seeing the amount of people disliking the main storylines grow as the drama progressively kept getting worse and I love how many viewers can look at the story critically instead of accepting it as "a fiction which doesn't need to portray any sort of realism",
Well, putting aside the mess that was YiDiao's non-existent conclusion of their issues and LianKuea's dragged-out drama which could've been resolved in two episodes, I'm so happy NuerSyn has stayed pure and conflictless through the entire series :)
Honestly, Lian should've just bought a dog for Kuea as soon as any issues arose, it seems to be a way more effective method of resolving problems than having a healthy conversation lmao.

Or am I remembering the thing about Sing wrong?
