Yeah because in the past few days (weeks even, if you really wanna say it because there has been tons of discussions about all the episodes thus far) we've seen plenty of comments one would consider spoilers to someone who may be new to the show. Or someone who has not watched the show/latest episode. For instance Tsuge and Minato's confession scene. When the episode first aired, I did see a lot of people putting it under spoilers, I myself put it under spoilers as well, because it is basically a spoiler considering the episode was raw and was live. But recently, those comments have not been under any spoiler tags, which is understandable because many have already seen the episode. I personally would want to follow guidelines, if there are some, because I don't want to unintentionally spoil anything for anyone either. Agree with you that spoilers will be subjective until there are official guidelines. I haven't seen any yet so if anyone has info on that, send it my way!

Does MDL have a clear definition of spoilers? This question is open to anyone. I'd like to see it. I know some websites have their own criteria for a spoiler. Most websites I've been on as long as the information in the comment/post is in regards to the current aired episodes or previous episodes, it's not a spoiler.

So even with the exclusions of 10s and 1s, 8.7 is the result? Let's assume that about 50% of the 10s are from active and valid users, and those are currently being counted, then the rating would be even higher, and yet, it's 8.6......Numbers not adding up MDL.

If it helps, I don't think your post was spoiling anything. The episode has been out for 4 days. If it's not now, then when should people talk about ep 9 spoiler free? New fans show up all the time, does that mean everyone has to be under spoilers forever? Even when the show completes, new fans can be "spoiled" by comments about ep 1.

I really dislike when people say it's spoiling because "they" haven't watched something yet. Well of course, because you haven't watched, but the rest of the 90% did so, it's not on us to catch spoilers, it's on you to catch spoilers and prepare yourselves.

People who complain about the kiss or lack thereof at this point, makes me assume they aren't really in this for the story, they just wanna see man on man action. There's a reason why shows like TharnType are so popular. They'll be looking at the wrong place for the kind of thirst they travel with. Agreed with you, stay away from Japanese shows. Or be more open minded about different shows tone and direction. The fact that people want steamy kisses from this light hearted series boggles my mind. There's a time and place for different types of kisses, this ain't the show for french kisses.

Looking at the statistics, dunno if these numbers make a difference in figuring out the ratings, but out of all the percentages in the ratings, 9.0+ ratings = 83% of the total votes, while 8.5- ratings = 16% of the total votes, equaling 99%. 1% is missing, let's just ignore that. Meaning there are 67% more people voting for 9.0+ than 8.5-. Out of 1897 people who have voted, 83% is around 1573 people and 16% is around 299 people. That's a 80% difference between 9.0+ and 8.5-. On average, 524 people voted 9.0+ and ONLY 60 people voted 8.5-. In comparison to another series, His, for example, with a rating of 8.2 (that's just 0.4 away from CM's ratings), 1419 voters, 55% voting 9.0+ and 44% voting 8.5-, making 10% more people voting for 9.0+ and about a 20% difference. This ratings is honestly more evened out, so it kind of makes sense why 8.2 is the rating. But with CM and considering it's only 0.4 points away. despite the huge gap in votes. Something's not adding up. Not sure if they're averaging out the votes or if they're just picking a median, but 80% difference between 8.5- and 9.0+ should at least make the ratings go up to 8.9+ imo. I'm no good at math but I can look at the graphs and go, hmmm, votes are overwhelmingly 9.0+ so why is it 8.6....

That ep 10 preview Tsuge be looking awfully happy, he probably spilled the beans that he's no longer a virgin or somewhere along the lines, so now Adachi's like, "ahh shit, right I was supposed to lose this ability, but how am I supposed to bring it up to my boyfriend????"

Adachi's disappointment when Kurosawa turned Rokkaku down. He probably didn't think that far ahead yet, just thought it would be another good opportunity to hang with Kurosawa, even with others around. Must've thought Kurosawa didn't wanna be around him and the others lol. Then Kurosawa hits him with "let's give the date another go" and his whole face lights up. Adachi, sir, you can hang with your boyfriend without your friends around. I hope you know that.
