I think he will get more lead roles after Cherry Magic, he’s done such a great job in the role and he’s displayed…
You're missing my point. If it came off that I think Machida being gay is bad, then you're misunderstanding me. My whole point was acting role likely has nothing to do with sexuality, and the fact that you're using that as the sole reason to say he could be gay, is simply illogical.
This rating system is so annoying. It’s making it so inaccurate. Now some really good dramas are rated wayyy…
Well, you kind of set yourself up on this one. "How am I supposed to know if a drama is good enough to watch now or not?!" The question heavily implies you do not know of any other option. Whether you intended it or not, that question can easily be interpreted as such, and therefore, assumed as such that you rely only on ratings until now, and is currently conflicted with how you're supposed to determine a show's quality.
I don't think your frustration is invalid, just think in addition to ratings, you could also read comment discussion and reviews. Which you've stated you do, so there really isn't anything else to add.

I meant read what people are saying about the show, in terms of story/plot, character, enjoyment, etc, regardless of what they rate the show. A number can only say so much, but actually reading what people think about different aspects can give a better perspective what the show might offer.

I second. Relying on ratings alone is simply too risky and honestly unreliable at times. I think anything beyond 8.0 is pretty good. But to others 8.0 maybe be low. So what now? Is the next random watcher going to trust me that the show is pretty good or trust the other person who thinks the show is rated too low, therefore not good? By going to the comment discussions and reviews, you get more opinions on the story, beyond just a number.
Rokkaku, the man with many talents. But he's especially talented in 1, interrupting Adachi and Kurosawa's dinner date. 2, interrupting Adachi and Kurosawa's rooftop moment. 3, putting in Adachi's head that Kurosawa's sis is his ex. Nearly put Adachi on his death bed with that heartache. 4, interrupting Adachi and Kurosawa's private sweet life. 5, interrupting Tsuge's almost confession. 6. stealing Adachi's "yummm" from Kurosawa 7, probably something else in the future episodes. Amen to his talent.

Perhaps Machida just prefers action (or he passed more of his action auditions compared to his romance auditions). I just think there's more to sexuality than an acting role. Just because Machida has less roles in romance with a woman, shouldn't lead anyone to think he is gay.
Note: I don't want to dismiss that he could be of LGBTQ+ spectrum, I just wanna point out that the correlation between acting role and sexuality, is a bit of a stretch.
So does anyone else think the end card scene may have nothing to do with anything at all and kinda just stands…
Director: *After they've finished filming ep 9 for the night* Huh would you look at that, we actually have extra time today. Akaso, Machida, come here for a sec. I want you two to walk around nonchalantly, look happy. Ah! actually, Dressing team, bring out the suits, I want a couple shots of that too. This can be our ending credits. Perfect. Tbh, I don't really mind... I get that the majority relies on the score they see up there, but personally I read…
Same. I usually go down the comments to see what everyone is saying about the drama/series. Then I check the reviews. It's mostly those two that I rely on. Otherwise if the plot looks interesting enough, I usually watch it regardless of the ratings.
