OK, there is one thing that's bothering me. They've pretty much dropped Adachi's powers - he didn't even hear…
First point about Adachi's power. Yeah I get the feeling it hasn't been making much of an appearance this episode. Hopefully we get more of it in the next episodes.

Second point. I thought the way it's been addressed was pretty appropriate? The mole scene for one was on point showing Kurosawa's thirst. The pajama scene as well. But going back to my other comment, it's about audience and tone. The story is slowly going toward developing their relationship, slipping in Kurosawa's wild fantasies would completely ruin the flow.

Third point. As mentioned previously, I think it was showed well in the earlier episodes when we didn't have much development. Now we're trying to get somewhere so slipping it in will ruin the flow. Maybe in the future when they have a solid relationship and less angst.

Edit: looking at the other replies, if your criticism is that there's less physical attraction being showed compared to earlier episodes (since you mention alot about the mole scene or similar, I'm assuming you liked the earlier episodes depicting Kurosawa's thoughts on Adachi's appearance more than the recent episodes, where we don't get it as much now), then you're basically saying (or indicated by how you say it "takes you out of the story a bit sometimes") you don't particularly care for the change in focus/direction (more on emotional development) and you'd rather see more of Kurosawa's thoughts about being physically attracted to Adachi. Can't say that's a bad criticism, just a weird one imo. Like the story is adding more layers making the story even better than previous episodes and moving on from those humorous scenes yet you're here saying by doing so, it's taking you out of the story. Makes me go ehhh?

I would like to answer if you don't mind! For your first point: It was on purpose we were not allowed to hear Kurosawa's…
I'm having a hard time grasping your point about pure BLs being homophobic. I do get what you're getting at but it can also come down to audience and tone of the drama. There are different BLs for different purposes, portraying different aspects of a gay relationship. Some are extremely graphic showing nudity, while some are completely void of that. Why is it that the ones that don't show the extreme side of things get labeled homophobic? Is there supposed to be a particular and specific way a homosexual relationship is supposed to be portrayed in media? The target audience for the manga and the audience for the drama seem to be different. Right now CM's way of showing Kurosawa's sexual attraction works well for the audience. Have you seen Kinou Nani Tabeta? I would consider it a pure BL, since it showed zero sexual interaction, but it was able to capture what a gay men might feel in a homophobic society, especially from his own parents. Would you consider that drama homophobic?

Also I feel like throwing the word homophobic around just because a BL doesn't include particular aspect of a gay relationship, is an abuse of the term. Some BL are indeed rather homophobic, showcasing bad stereotypes that only make gay men seem worse than they already are viewed in real life. But that's not the case for CM or some BL, whether or not they show the sexual aspects.

I'm one of those that haven't given this a rating yet. By no means is this a 2gether, but ya know, I'm gonna save…
Yeah. So far CM has been great but lesson learnt, don't be too quick to give anything any rating until it ends. It's just safer that way and less disappointing in the end.

Yeah, its true. Even Yutarou (Minato) thought they were really dating. (If my understanding is correct). I think…
That's something I've grown to really appreciate. After watching a drama/movie, I like to watch their interviews or behind the scenes or side projects to promote, and I really like how Japanese folks do it. They genuinely just talk about their experience and thoughts. They don't do fanservice. If anything looks like fanservice, it's just the actors/actresses genuinely interacting with each other.

Title Zombie Detective Spoiler
Not really my style. I like solving crime movies, but this one fell flat. A drama I can think of that has a supernatural being solving crime is Vampire Prosecutor. It's been a while since I last saw it but I recall really liking it. Similar premise, supernatural beings solve crimes. This drama didn't hit the right spots for me. I thought they solved the Santa clause crime way too easily. They took the entire 2/3 of the drama building it up and trying to solve that crime, only to have it resolved in a couple episodes? It was anticlimactic. That was what really made me click off and really drop this drama. I know they still need to solve why he became a zombie and if he can become a human, but that's with at most 3 or 4 episodes left? What are they gonna do, rush through it? Idk. Not interested in finding out.

The main female lead was kind of annoying. She was explosive and erratic. I wanted her to shut up at times. She has no business being that loud all the time. She was also very intrusive and did whatever she wanted. It's a no for me on that one.

The story itself wasn't very creative. The side crimes they solved were predictable. The only crime they had that was a mystery was the Santa Clause one and they messed that one up, so there really isn't anything else to count on. Maybe the mystery of his Zombie form, but ya already lost me before I got there so, doesn't really count for me.

The comedy really doesn't help this drama's case. In fact, the comedy might've made it worse. It just didn't work in terms of adding any significant to the story.

Anyway, those are my thoughts. Dropped.

Even though I read the manga Alice in wonder and know that he doesn't actually fit the main lead role but fuck…
Kento Yamazaki is practically everywhere when you wanna do a live adaptation. LD-K, JoJo's bizarre adventure, Wolf girl and Black prince, Another, Death Note, just to name a few. And now Alice in Borderline. He is unstoppable when it comes to anime/manga to live adaptations lol.

Surprised this plot was used. I'm pretty oh the problems. Not saying it doesn't happen, but I feel like this isn't…
I didn't think that's the message? Kurosawa does get treated better as a whole, which I'm sure he appreciates greatly, but his issue resides in the fact that that's all people care about. Getting treated well for being attractive and feeling worthless except for his face, aren't necessarily mutually exclusive? They can happen at the same time and cause him to feel worthless overall. Which he does and states in the episode. I'm not attractive either so I definitely can't relate to Kurosawa's struggle, but I can understand being reduced to just looks, regardless of being attractive or ugly.

I saw some WeTV clips from Twitter, they looks OK but I also still like Irozuku's subs since I think his/her translation…
also, im no japanese expert, but isn't suki more commonly used to say you like someone, as opposed to loving someone? even Kurosawa says he suki's Adachi and that was translated as like, rather than love. personally when I watched ep 7 raw, when Adachi confessed, my brain registered that as "i like you".
