idk about that, but so far, he just seems irresponsible to me. the writer is trynna make him look perfect, while making Lingbo look like a pick-me. But her reaction to Yuzhi giving more attention to the FL is justified. sure, Lingbo is a piece of shit for bullying the ML. But she genuinely likes Yuzhi. If he really has no feelings for her, why even keep being engaged to her? If he really wants to act like the responsible guy, then he shouldn't get so close to the FL. I feel so dumb for ranting about a fictional character, but he pisses me off sm😭

Only started watching this cause of Zhou Yiran. After Reborn, I just decided to blindly trust his script choices lmao. Despite the choppy editing, I think its pretty good. Main couple's dynamic is fun. The whole sect situation is boring ngl, but atleast, we got to see Zhou Yiran in his “demonic” atire🙏
The more I think about the dynamic between Eun Jo and Yi Yeol, the more I come to love it. Despite having such a huge power imbalance, it never feels like one is lesser than the other. They never disrespect eachother, something that I find pretty hard to come across in a lot of romance dramas. They both want to protect eachother, and they do it in their own ways. Love triangles genuinely put me off, but in this case, I loved how they didn't treat the SML as a tool to make the ML feel jealous. Jae-yi was such a well-written character, and even tho his love for FL was messed up, I cried sm when he was actually being honest about his feelings. His feelings for Eun-jo wasn't just a tool to make her seem appealing and all great, but rather, it was a way for Jae-yi to finally break free. This drama may not have the best take on class difference and societal issues. The way everything got resolved so easily at the end was honestly bad writing imo, but I am glad it did. I think its cause the writer did such a good job at fleshing out our main characters that you can't help but want them to be together. I am gonna miss them sm:(
