I just want to say that although Heaven Official's Blessing and Mo Dao Zu Shi were written by the same author, people should keep in mind that they are two completely different novels/ dramas. I like both of them since they are unique in their own way.
Like Mo Xiang Tong Xiu said, "I consider expectations to be a double-edged sword."
I have high expectations for Heaven Official's Blessing as its own entity and not just something to take place of The Untamed. I'm not expecting them to be the same since I've already ready both novel and know they are completely different.
I Really Want To Watch This Drama. Can someone explain to me about the love triangle please, like does she love…
Both brothers like Jin Mi and in the beginning she says she "likes" both of them but she meant it in a friendship sort of way b/c she doesn't understand the other like (relationship like) due to the unfeeling pill.
She's friends with both of them but is closer to Xu Feng and grows to like him as the story progresses.
Also, there is a side characters that is "in love" with Xu Feng and complicates the whole story.
All in all, the drama has a lot of complicated romance. To be more specific, this whole thing started between:
- Zi Fen (flower immortal, Jin Mi's mom) - Luolin (water immortal & Jin Mi's dad) - Taiwei (evil heavenly emperor and the guy who didn't want Zi Fen to be with Luolin, he also had an affair with Suli) - Tuyao (evil heavenly empress and a jealous b*tch who basically killed Zi Fen and a lot of other immortals just so everything could be the way she wanted it) ---- More towards the end, it's not all about the romance.
Omg..the haters make this rating for this drama down slowly and I found the bad comment about this drama or for…
I just started watching "Ashes of Love" and am enjoying it so far. I actually liked "Eternal Love" as well but I'm not like those people who having nothing better to do and just write bad comments/ down vote dramas/ movies I've never seen.
Honestly, its very sad they feel the need to do that (imo)...
Does anyone know where I can watch this with good timed subs? I'm currently on ep 1 but on the site I am watching, the subs are either gone too fast before they even finish speaking or too slow and they've already spoken but the subs come after they are midway in speech o.o
Can someone tell me if Ming lan ever goes off on her father? I want her to decimate him so bad.
Kind of but not really at the same time. I forget around what ep, but it is super late into the drama, that she tell's her dad that she knows and understands everything about him and why he does what he does.
She also tells him that she doesn't necessarily hate him but that she repays kindness to the people who were in turn kind to her and that she never hated the Sheng house. (Or something similar to that) It makes him cry while facing away from her but you could say their relationship gets better after that...
Can someone please name all the dramas these posters were taken from?
I was also wondering the same thing yesterday but noticed all the drama's are tagged on the bottom. Eternal Love, The King's Woman, Ashes of Love, Goodbye My Princess, and The Story of Minglan.
Thanks to this post, I'm finally starting a new (to me) historical romance. Currently watching The Story of Minglan and am really enjoying it so far. :)
EDIT: Just noticed that the FL is Zanilia Zhao.. I honestly did not like her in the previous two series I watched where she was the main FL. So far, I've got no complaints. I feel like she plays this role pretty well compared to the others. o.o
Just started watching this and one thing I'm really glad about is that the grandma isn't an evil one. You know how it goes when a drama has one of those.
... It was a novel first before it was even an anime... The anime left out parts of the novel so you could say…
Lol, I'm a big advocate for reading so I might just be that one weirdo who likes to read the novels but not really the mangas.
I was weirded out my the character designs in the drama but I got used to it. My biggest pet peeve for the drama though is that they totally screwed up Chen Guo's character. =.=||
They ruined it as they always do. I wonder when they will stop making animes into live action movies/dramas it's…
... It was a novel first before it was even an anime... The anime left out parts of the novel so you could say it was butchered a bit too..? Like in the anime it was just action, action, action but that's not really how it went in the novel. I did enjoy the anime anyways though.
But I'm not gonna lie, I agree with you that they mess up a lot of the movie/ drama adaptions of anime's, novels, etc; but honestly, I like The King's Avatar so I am supporting the drama.
I personally think they did an ok job with the adaption and its not without faults but that's just my opinion.

*Note: Like a previous reply said, you will have to pay Spirit Stones after 90 chapters

I'm hoping they did and that's why the subs seem better since you last watched it. If so, I'll probably re-watch on Netflix later on.
