Bai Jue is so cold towards other people, even his own friends. But he does have their best interest in his heart.Love the part when Zhiyang wanted to hug him and he step backShanggu being a brats is cute as heck.

I love how seamless the plot transitions are especially how they move from one case to another without it feeling perfunctory

The character introduction

The character introduction was done smoothly without any pretentious intent. Shot was taken beautifully. Male lead and Female lead first set up impression is good.

Why Shang Gu is the Chief god

Because she was born direct from the remain souls of the Ancestral god while Zhiyang, Bai Jue and Tianqi was created by ancestral god earlier than 100,000 years ago while Shanggu is the youngest being just born 10,000 years before the drama start.
