After 2 eps I think LS should get professional help with his trauma and stop forcing friendship on someone who's told him she has feelings for him. He's not responsible for her feelings but refusing to let her go after he's rejected her TWICE just makes him an a-hole and an unlikeable character.
As for WY, I just find her tiresome. I hope the drama improves but from the preview for ep 3, I don't see it getting better just yet. I'll probably just drop it and come back much later on,
I wish both female leads were not written mainly as these 2 jealous women fighting over 1 guy. At first, it was…
Oh God THIS! It's so annoying watching 2 women who were introduced as smart, capable and forceful being reduced to an endless catfight over a man they should really just leave alone. I get that DY thinks she should end up with JG because she's spent so much time with him, but that's so limiting for the character. Also, they had JG declare that he doesn't think of women (or men) romantically so I wish they would just see that through.
I wish we could get more of DY being an amazing journalist & YTY being an amazing physicist. They could solve this entire thing if the writer would let them breathe.
Ok so up to the latest episode (10) we have some action here and there...I guess. If I have to be honest, although…
I didn't catch the GPS thing but I don't get the problem with the sticky notes. He wrote them in the past and she found them faded and covered in dust a year later. Isn't that what happened?
Also, I gather that ML's thing isn't the lack of emotions but rather the inability to identify or describe emotions. So he could be feeling a lot but he doen't know what he feels or why. He also cannot read other people's emotions which is why he doesn' react.
I'm also glad we're close to the end cos I'm tired of the disappointment every week. FL should be figuring out so much more by now and it's frustrating watching her fumble around.
My biggest gripe with this show right now is the wasting of the FL. They had a physicist who is thoroughly fascinated with the idea of time travel, almot obsessed with proving that it exists now finally travel through time! And rather than having her exploring the mechanics of that or the wonder of time travel science, they had her spend the entire experience crying about a man and waiting for someone to save her. I expected her to have a breakthrough and figure her own way back so she could at least contribute to the story!
Then to make things even worse, she comes back (seemingly through magic) and decides to lie about it to the only person who she knows has also travelled through time and ISN'T trying to murder her! WHAT WAS THE REASON???
I'm glad Min Hyuk is moving the plot forward cos it seems the writer doesn't know what to do with the leads anymore. I hope he can figure out what's going on and catch the culprits cos I doubt PJG or YTY will be of any use.
I honestly don't get why he was asking her to wait for him. Despite whatever feelings Jung Kyung had for him and…
I think he asked her to wait so they could both be sure their relationship wasn't a reaction to him not being able to be with JK. I feel like if Song Ah didn't know the full story there he might have said yes or no quicker.
As for the confession, it may not all be resolved but I got the feeling he's realised that waiting for perfect conditions could lead to him losing Song Ah. Maybe they should've been clearer about his epiphanies but I didn't really mind.
Why are all the professors such horrible trolls? I guess this is what happens when you're too mediocre to achieve your dreams and you have to watch other people do what you couldn't. I don't think even one of them actually likes teaching or likes their students.
I'm just starting to care about Song Ah and I hope to really like her before this is over. I like her dedication to playing & learning at least. The relationship development is cute too.
The moment when BHS realised he was about to become the prey rather than the predator was excellent. This whole show has been amazing even if I had so many questions at different points. Ji Won deciding not to answer the phone when she knew Hyun Soo was out there, alone and likely to reach out, just because she was told to avoid reporters was stretching it a bit thin for me.
My heart ached for Do Hyun Soo in this episode, especially when he couldn't tell if Ji Won was really there by the end. I can't believe he suffered so much in his life and now he gets a bullet in the head as a reward. At least Hae Soo is alive to clear his name.
Why does Ji Won always forget that she has a child until Eun Ha is in fromt of her? She kept wanting to follow Hyun Soo and never paused to wonder what would happen to their daughter if both of them got hurt or killed. If she assumes Hyun Soo isn't in touch with his emotions, she has to know that it's up to her to care about their kid. I know she's not used to taking responsibility for Eun Ha but this episode was a bit much.
Why did Hae Soo just stand there and wait to be stabbed? I find that so ridiculous and now I don't care if she lives or dies. The least she could do was put up a fight especially since there was no telling what would happen to her niece once BHS was done with her. She could've screamed. Anything really. The only reason I don't want her to die is so Hyun Soo can clear his name.
I expected this drama to be very boring and tedious based on so many comments here but it turned out to be one of my favourite dramas. I don't know if or when I will rewatch it but I thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. I understood the choices the characters made even those I didn't agree with. Overall, if you want to check this out, you definitely should. It's quite good.
After episode 6 I just have so many more questions about everything. I've been waiting for them to reference the little girl from the beginning and tie this all together so hopefully next week there will be some answers. Based on the preview of the next episode it's like the end of time travel will just be a self-fulfilling prophecy brought on by the time travellers trying to stop it. If they hadn't come back looking for the book, a lot of what is happening now would not have happened so it's Alice's fault in the end.
I keep wondering what the end game will look like but I can't figure it out yet. Really intriguing drama so far.
It's clear to me that someone in Alice lied to Min Hyuk about what happened to Tae Yi. It's also very suspicious that they've been after Jin Gyum for so long and the fact that his mother was Tae Yi never came up. Min Hyuk might end up turning against Alice before this is done when he finds out that they killed the love of his life and then lied to him about it. Unless it was that female agent who seems very invested in Min Hyuk's personal life and also can't control her emotions. Maybe she got jealous and went after Tae Yi.
I have a lot of theories especially about what will bring the end of time travel so I can't wait to see where this goes. Looking forward to 2020 Tae Yi and Min Hyuk finally meeting, as well as the reveal for Jin Gyum when he finds out his dad is the person he's been after all this time.
I think everyone except Hyun Soo and Ji Won saw that trap coming a mile away. I kept hoping for a lightbulb moment when they would realise what was happening but no, they just walked right in. Also, I don't know why Ji Won jumped straight to suspecting DHS when the nurse's time of death would obviously show that she died while they were still making their big plans for that failed sting.
I also don't know why Hyun Soo is still keeping things from Ji Won. They already agreed to deal with this together and he didn't think to tell her about the phone call????? I know he's scared but seriously, where has hiding all this from her gotten him so far? She's the only reason he hasn't been in prison for at least 3 episodes and he should learn to trust her skill more. I really hope they get back on their a-game by the next episode and start turning things around. I don't think I could stand it if they make BHS toy with them until the last episode without losing any of these battles. Hyun Soo & Ji Won together are a force to be reckoned with and we deserve to see that in action.
I love this show but this is so frustrating to watch lol
I'll never like Moo Jin but that's just me I guess. He's an opportunistic, lecherous SOB and every time he looks at Hae Soo it gives me the creeps.
For ep 12 though, what the hell was Hyun Su thinking going to the house as soon as he said he would be out of town? He didn't even give Hee Sung's dad time to believe his plan worked. I thought he was smarter than this! I expected him to actually BE bait. Be at the summer house. Make sure the plan worked! I'm so disappointed, honestly. As for the real BHS, I figured he'd been faking it in the wheelchair for a while and who can blame him considering how he ended up in the coma. I guess your mom stabbing you can cause serious trust issues.
I can't lie about one thing though, I'm glad he killed the nurse. She knew EVERYTHING and decided the best move was to blackmail this family of psychos? Yeah, she deserved that. She should just have left the house like there was nothing wrong and then just not showed up ever again. Imagine choosing blackmail when you know what this family is capable of and then thinking you can walk away. I'm not sorry she's dead cos her stupidity killed her.
I think I'm gonna drop this 21 episodes in cos I'm tired of seeing the ML treat Ran Yan like garbage all the time. He manipulates her and forces her to do things she would do if he just asked. Don't even get me started on the whole marrying her when he thought she was mentally impaired thing. I lost all respect for him at that point.
I have a lot of issues with the editing and directing of this drama but the fact that Xiao Song is positioned as the romantic lead and they had him do all that to Ran Yan was just too much for me. I started out liking it cos I like the FL but that's all the more reason why I can't stand her being treated that way. She's way too smart for that. To be clear, I'm not on Su Fu's side either. Neither of these men deserve her.
I'm so glad I didn't watch this week to week cos I would've lost my entire mind. What an absolute waste of time. They really made Dae Oh leave AGAIN after missing 14 years of his child's life! The Dae Oh we were introduced to would NEVER have left no matter what happened and he would've stayed by them to make sure Ha Nee never had to deal with losing her father again. This show was such a disappointment and I can imagine Ha Nee having a horrible relationship with Dae Oh after all this in spite of his return years later. Was he even keeping in touch with them? The least they could've done was show that he stayed in contact with them even though he wasn't physically around because of the scandal. I could've accepted that, rather than him cutting off all contact, yet again.
Also, Ae Jung stayed disappointing until the very end. I expected more from her after it finally came out that Dae Oh was Ha Nee's dad and she decided to date him again but no, she stayed foolish. I'm glad this show is over but wow do I wish I could get back the time & brain cells I wasted watching it.
Like! He still gave her shit after cheating on her. I was so angry watching all the clean up she had to do while…
Ngl I was mad Man Ni got up to talk to that idiot but good on her for not even giving him the pleasure of looking like she considered it. XHS stayed trash until the end, as expected. Did you see him finally agreeing to the divorce like he was doing her a favour? After everything she had to go through because of his stupidity.
As for WY, I just find her tiresome. I hope the drama improves but from the preview for ep 3, I don't see it getting better just yet. I'll probably just drop it and come back much later on,
