The one thing XHS could have done for Gu Jia was sign thendivorce aggreement before telling her about the factory explosion, but he had to remain a worthless piece of sh!t until the end. We all knew the explosion was going to happen but he can pretend it's shocking, I guess. About to start the final episode and I hope he rots in jail.

As for Man Ni, wow! I can't believe she went at Frank head-on but I am so proud of her. That dumbass can share a cell with XHS.

I think it was just a random person but he was really cute lol. I don't want Gu Jia to do anything she'll start judging herself for but it was nice to see her getting some positive attention.

I swear, every single episode I find new reasons to despise XHS even more. I can't believe he had the gall to send Gu Jia to the airport to respond to LYY just because he's too weak to do anything useful with his miserable existence (good riddance to that psycho btw). I also have to say, Chen Xu telling Gu Jia that XHS cheated because she was too good was so annoying. Can that leech just shut up? I know we appreciate some of his insight but wow, what an idiotic thing to say. XHS is not a child and if he can't face his responsibilities then Gu Jia needs a partner who can. These episodes have been so emotional because Tong Yao is an amazing actress and I feel everything Gu Jia feels. I understand her hesitation and heartbreak so completely.

At long last the book deal arrived! I was really happy Chen Yu supported Xiao Qin completely (the plot summary is so off point omg) and is even trying to get her to understand that the money won't last forever if she keeps spending. Lol. I like seeing them treat each other better and talk through things now. They're going to be a lot stronger as a couple.

Ma Ni standing her ground against Frank was so pleasing to me. I hope he gets fired because he's a criminal and deserves to go to jail too.

Considering how Gu Jia beat up those women that hurt our baby boy way back when, I was really hoping she would knock LYY out for threatening her son's life. That girl needs some professional help.

I also have to say, I was very disappointed Ma Ni fell for that scam. It was so obvious. Also, why is she scared of Frank? She has an employment contract! I have never been more frustrated with her than when she let that scumbag scare her into making such an obvious mistake. It's a learning curve though. I guess now she can also stop looking down on the position since the CEO has explained why he put her there.

Finally, when is Xiao Qin's book deal coming????? I'm tired of waiting for her to hit the luxurious life of an acclaimed, published author. Only 4 episodes left!

After episode 9 I'm dropping this until it ends. I can't be frustrated with the FL after having my hopes for a better story crushed every week. I'll just wait so I don't have to wonder. Still rooting for Dae Oh to meet someone worthy and leave FL alone ✌

Did XHS really ask Gu Jia to help him break up with his psychotic mistress because he's too useless to even cheat properly? Every time I think he can't sink any lower, it's like SURPRISE. What a truly disgusting creature. As for LYY, it was obvious she was doing everything she could to out them short of telling Gu Jia outright. I'm so glad Gu Jia has friends she can rely on. Ma Ni & Xiao Qin are true girlfriends goals.

Ngl I skip a lot of XHS & LYY scenes together. They just annoy me so much. Yeah I hope Ma Ni takes the time to sit Gu Jia down and tell her, even though Gu Jia has practically figured it out now.

Same for Chen Xu. He seems like an idiot most of the time but at least he's been very helpful to his brother even if his plans never work out (remember the wine? Lol).

OMG yes! I am very proud of Ma Ni. I hope she finds happiness in love eventually too. I know we were all kinda rooting for JC but I understood why she said no. I was sceptical about this CEO giving her this job and the weird conditions attached but I can see how his mind works. I just want her to succeed at everything.

I thought this drama was going to be just something to pass the time initially but I'm so invested now. I love it too.

Gu Jia deserves so much more than a second rate, cheating, lying husband who can't even manage his business for one day without her. I know he would be living in abject poverty if he was married to anyone else, dreaming of the time he designed fireworks for the olympics 84 years ago. I can't wait for her to finally get rid of this dead weight and live the life she deserves. Her tea farm is going to keep going strong and once she leaves the fireworks company, we will see it crash and burn. I hope that psychotic You You is ready for the responsibility. The fact that this girl thinks she can skip into this life Gu Jia built when she doesn't even know how it came to be is truly hilarious. What an idiot!

Loved seeing Ma Ni get back in stride at work even though it's very different from what she was expecting. I know she will excel though. Also, very happy that Xiao Qin & Chen Yu seem to be on the same page. I wanted her to spend more time alone but I guess she's happy now and I'm okay with that.

YY & XHS truly deserve each other and every bad thing that will come their way in the future. When she sent him that text saying it was their 1 month anniversary I burst out laughing. 1 MONTH and he's destroyed their lives, for what? Do you think Ma Ni should tell Gu Jia what she saw? I feel like I would want to know if I was Gu Jia but that's just me. I really despise XHS.

On another note though Xiao Qin & Chen Yu were so cute and it looks like they learned from their mistakes so far. Keeping my gingers crossed for them.

I agree with everything you said. I could see both their faults from the start and that's one of the reasons I just need Xiao Qin to spend some time realising what she wants and what she needs from a relationship. She kept telling Chen Yu that they needed to communicate before they got divorced but she couldn't articulate her own feelings. Although Chen Yu wants to get back together and I like him for her, it won't work if they don't really start communicating & accepting each other fully. I hope it works out for them tbh. (I will hate loverboy forever)

I am really happy to have Ma Ni back in Shanghai and I know she will shine in her new position. As for XHS, I need Gu Jia to see what is happening and leave him ASAP. I'm tired of seeing his cheating face and now he's brought that psycho back to his house. What a load of garbage.

I was so mad at that boy for embarassing Xiao Qin at work like that. He was obviously trying to pressure her! I don't think he even knew what happened to her when she left that night. I'm happy she broke up with him. His childish reaction to the breakup was so funny! Lol.

I was hoping Ma Ni would be considering that connection seriously but she just seems stuck now and it makes me so sad. I don't see how this is going to be wrapped up in 10 episodes.

As soon as XHS said they should keep producing those fireworks I laughed so loud cos the tea farm is going to pick up and the fireworks business is definitely going to burn to the ground. We'll see how much that girl loves him when she has to visit him in prison. I'm really glad Gu Jia has stopped taking money from him to support the tea farm.

As for lover boy, I have not seen a more clueless or insensitive jerk. It was so obvious that Xiao Qin was uncomfortable from the way she was drinking at dinner but he only cares about himself. Have you seen the next episode? Cos WHEW!

I can't believe this show is almost over and Ma Ni is still in limbo.

This is my constant prayer for Xiao Qin! She needs to let that boy go and focus on loving herself and figuring out what works for her. The way that boy keeps crowding her does not sit right with my spirit and I hope she sees the light soon.

I need all these men in Xiao Qin's life to leave her alone. Her ex brother in law won't let her breathe as if she's responsible for the way CY is handling things, and the boy she's dating is so annoying. Gu Jia said she needs to stop drinking all the time and try to be independent but she won't listen.

I wish Ma Ni could find happiness too. It feels like she's settling for a life of sadness and while I can relate, I just want her to get the kind of love & peace she deserves. Still loving & appreciating Gu Jia so much. I hope she isn't broken by her husband's betrayal when she finds out.

I've disliked that boy for a while especially because he has shown he doesn't really respect XQ. I wish she would take Gu Jia's advice and just be on hervown for now instead of jumping into another doomed relationship. I also find Gu Jia's husband extremely annoying.
