Title Start-Up
After 10 eps I just want SDM to succeed at business and beat her sister. I get that there's a love story taking up a lot of bandwidth but I'd rather she just remain friends with the guys and get to show what an innovative thinker and charismatic woman she can be.

Also, I just want to say that it seems like a lot of people have forgotten that HJP is an orphan who made himself up from nothing, with no support system. Of course he's the way he is now. I truly believe what he needs now is not a romantic relationship but just true friendship, but unfortunately dramas will drama so there's a love triangle.

I'm not wading into ship wars because I don't want DM with either of them right now, but I do find it very weird that she hasn't asked her grandma what the deal is with HJP. I'm sure she'd remember the weird kid that lived with her grandmother for a year if she heard the full story. She may well end up with NDS and that's whatever, but I think JP is here to stay because of his prior relationship with her grandma so they should be good friends at least.

I think ep 8 was my favourite so far. It was an obvious choice for Yeon because we all know Imoogi is not going to kill Ji Ah. They just wanted to mess with him and maybe kill Rang too. I'm really invested in the brothers' relationship. I hope they can sort things out and work together to take down that snake. I also hope Ji Ah doesn't blame Yeon for choosing Rang. I could see her finding her way to that train of thought.

Looking forward to next week's episodes for the first time. Exciting!

Title Alice Spoiler
I don't understand how/why after everything was reset, Tae Yi remembered the other timeline and PJG still somehow exists? Whose gene pool did he spring from? I thought it would end with Tae Yi and Min Hyuk finding themselves in the timeline without time travel which would eventually lead to PJG being born again. I could've lived with that.

Everything else was such a mess, I just watched it to watch it and I am so glad it's finally over. But from what I gather, Future PJG turned evil because he was obsessed with stopping his mother's murder? I wish they had actually taken the time to make me care enough about that reveal.

I had so much hope for this drama in the beginning.

I had so many problems with FL's decisions in the first half of the drama so I put this on hold for a couple of weeks. Now that I'm binging the second half, I find it much easier to come to her defense after putting some distance between myself and the show. I like seeing the leads work together and I hope they can put that crazy ex-MIL in her place soon.

Hell, I don't even hate Se Mi any more. I just feel sorry for her now.

Why didn't Tae Yi's mom just just burn the book? Also, what a useless book! I was hoping there were some hidden formulas in the book or something meaningful, but it's really just a book of weird ramblings. It doesn't even name specific people. I find it all so funny now that I ever took this show seriously. I would've enjoyed it more if I'd known it was all crack lol

Is the writer insane?!
Very likely.

I was still on the fence after ep 1 but I really liked ep 2. I hope Ra Ra goes on a real journey of self discovery and I'm looking forward to seeing it happen.

The doctor is a little too weird & creepy for my liking though.

I want some peace of mind in the next 2 weeks lol. I can binge the eps afterward and have all the feelings at once.

I just finished ep. 12, not as bad as I thought... you scared me!
OMG THIS. She literally left everything that was expected of her after studying business, because she wanted to do something she loved even if it was considered crazy. I don't understand how that person is also the doormat who has to be used and insulted in every episode. She looks like the violin is torturing her every time they show her playing it. It's like someone put a gun to her head and forced her to do it. She acts like she's the kid whose mother is pressuring her to perform but she's literally the one putting pressure on and doubting herself. Even if she lacks the talent, they should be able to show us that she has a love for music and playing the violin. If she doesn't like it anymore then she should consider if she's only doing it because she doesn't want to go home and say she failed.

Title Do You Like Brahms? Spoiler
Honestly, Song Ah is a depressing & frustrating character to watch every week. I was hoping (silly, I know) that by now, she would've decided on what exactly to do with her personal and professional life. She just seems to change her tune after every new conversation with some random third party. It's truly exhausting watching her let herself be treated this way by everyone, and then keep doubting the only person who has never judged or criticised her. JY could breathe and SA would immediately assume it's because he's thinking of JK and how much better his life would be with that snake.

I just want JY to be happy. He has worked so hard and can't even enjoy playing the piano anymore.

I am struggling with this drama so I think I'm gonna put it on hold until it's done. I don't want to keep putting myself through this for weeks.

Title Record of Youth Spoiler
I don't see why HJ's ex is suddenly making a re-appearance now. There are already too many side characters in this drama and she is being such a tiresome cliche. Also, why oh WHY did they need to include the suicide of the only gay character on the show? There could've been a scandal around HJ and Charlie without the "kill your gays" trope, which was what I expected (even if that was already annoying). I don't know why writers think, in 2020 no less, that it's still alright to abuse LGBT+ characters like this. The lack of representation is bad enough, but then you put them in there just so you can harm them? Come on! That really annoyed me.

The only good thing I got out of ep 10 was more character development for Hae Hyo. I finally got a read into what he feels and thinks and he doesn't look like a cardboard cutout just moving from scene to scene anymore. I hope he can overcome this slump and decide what to do next without making any really bad decisions (like, please leave your friend's girlfriend alone for the love of all that is good). I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up going to serve and putting his career on hold, but we'll see. Also found HJ's brother kind of likeable in this ep.

If an LGBTQ individual does not come to a bad end in a Kdrama, the writer might collapse. Pdnim will stroke out.…
I truly don't understand why they felt the need to do that here. I didn't really care that much about Charlie cos he hasn't been in the show since but I am still so mad about this trashy story.

This was an endearing and delightful drama. I always approach romance with some skepticism but this did not disappoint me. I was smiling like an idiot even at the very last moment. Strong recommend for anyone looking for something light, hearty and full of love.

Still waiting for that backbone transplant for Song Ah but I'm glad ep 11 didn't go on a melodramatic downhill run (I expect we'll get some of that in ep 12 based on the preview). I skipped almost every scene with JK and HH but I do appreciate that JK took 5 seconds out of her self-obsessed bubble to try and help that young girl. I hope she learns something from the experience too but I'm not holding my breath.

Once again, the professors are trash. At least JY's professor didn't get more time to be an asshat this time lol.

I feel bad for JY's mom cos she is also a victim of circumstance and she and her son really deserve better. She was so excited to meet Song Ah and that touched me cos it's obvious how separate JY's life has been from his parents'. She must feel terrible about not being able to give him what he needs and probably sees herself as a burden for him. I hope things get better between them.

Also loved JY finally being more open with SA cos it shows how the relationship is growing naturally. SA worrying about all the time he spent knowing JK irritates me cos we all know that doesn't mean anything when it comes to romantic relationships, but she's pretty naive about that so I'm letting it go (again). If she keeps doing this comparison bs I will eventually lose it though. They were very cute in this episode, esepcially coming home in the end cos you could tell they both felt so much more at ease with each other (at least, JY does). Looking forward to more growth in ep 12, but not to the DRAMA.

As for MS, girl bye.

That game of jenga was a metaphor for her house of lies crashing down. At this point if she doesn't tell KJM everything, I cannot keep watching this. She literally has nothing to lose by telling the truth but she keeps lying and putting him and her daughter in danger. Now that the stupid old man is dead, she knows that crazy MIL of hers will go to extremes and yet she wants Woo Joo & KJM to keep moving ignorantly.

I thought she would come clean in ep 9 but I guess the drama needs to be extended even when it's illogical. I hope she tells KJM everything next episode but I won't hold my breath.

I'm going to be so disappointed if Chae Song Ah doesn't succeed in music by the end of this drama. Though I much…
I thought her story would be of how hard work matters even when talent isn't great. She works hard but she has no confidence in her own work (except when she has to defend herself to her family). I want her to succeed too because she deserves it.
Replying to Pearl Harbor Sep 30, 2020
I so agree. She cannot blame JK or JY for being more talented. I know that Joon Young and Jung Kyung have known…
THIS. She keeps finding reasons to doubt him when he hasn't done anything to deserve that. I get that JK keeps getting in her face but on the other hand JY didn't doubt her when he found out DY confessed after they started dating. She will end up losing him if she doesn't change and it won't be his fault. No one wants to keep proving themselves over and over.
On Do You Like Brahms? Sep 29, 2020
I really just want Song Ah to have like 50% more confidence in literally ANY aspect of her life. It's exhausting & frustrating watching her go on like this every week. We know she works hard, and she's determined but I would like to see her follow through with some backbone. Being nice is fine, but letting everyone you meet put you down is a bit much.

Also, I wish someone would get rid of the agent. I hate his guts and he disgusts me.
On Do You Like Brahms? Sep 29, 2020
Title Do You Like Brahms? Spoiler
Song Ah really didn't need to have that conversation at that moment but drama will drama I guess. I wish she & Joon Young would just focus on building their relationship and be selfish for once, cos you know their useless friends are going to accuse them of being selfish anyway. Also, at this point all the side characters are just nothing characters to me. JK in particular needs to get some therapy and learn to be happy. I have no sympathy for someone who is so deathly toxic. Once again the professors prove how trashy and insecure they are, and I would just like for one of them to not be a complete garbage fire.

As for the end of ep 9, I don't understand Min Sung's overly dramatic reaction. Song Ah is not responsible for her ex suddenly deciding he likes her, and she didn't ruin their relationshp. The dude is a jerk and the fact that she doesn't know this by now is her own problem. I hope Song Ah doesn't start punishing herself for nothing in the next episode.

Oh, and can someone tell me if JK is planning to play the same piece Song Ah is doing for her graduate entrance recital? It looks like it but tbh I kind glaze over anytime JK is onscreen so maybe I have it wrong.
