I was rolling laughing at the double amnesia plot cos it's so lazy and tiresome. I've been with this show through the upsetting original amnesia but now I'm struggling to hang on. I don't want to go into the new year mad, so I think I'm gonna put this on hold until whenever it ends. It was fun for a while though.
It's so funny to me that the leads spent so much time and effort trying to take down the principal, meanwhile the principal's daughter is literally just ruining her mother with very little effort. Someone should tell Noh Jung Ah that the call is coming from inside the house ๐
For next week, I'm curious to see what exactly happens with all the info Yoon Soo's ex turned in and whether it will have the desired effect now that NJA is the director with more power. I was hoping the foundation and their entire family would also come crashing down, but I doubt it.
This has certainly been a journey and I look forward to reaching the finish line soon.
I agree that I would've liked DD to tell the truth about YG's memories. But I think I can understand her motivations.…
She can not want to be the mistress and be honest. Those 2 things aren't mutually exclusive. When he started remembering things she should've been straightforward. Saying she'll ask him for an apology when he gets his memory back is funny to me. I already made the argument you're making for DD in the past so obviously I agree, but lying to someone who's visibly confused and tortured by his missing memories was a shitty thing to do. I can like DD, empathize with her, and still recognize that she did the wrong thing.
I really can't keep defending you if you're going to keep acting like this, Park Dan Dan ๐ญ
I got so annoyed when DD decided not to meet up with YG in ep 25 bcos she just left him up there without telling him she wasn't coming and then had the gall to get angry with him for waiting. I wasn't on board with him saying he'd only call the engagement off if DD likes him but there's such a thing as common courtesy. My disdain only grew when DD started lying to YG about his memories just because she's uncomfortable or holding a grudge or whatever. The man is already being manipulated and lied to, and he doesn't know what's real or not any more. DD really acted like a child then.
Anyway, now that he remembers more, I still don't think he will be entirely honest with DD, especially about SR being a lying, manipulative snake. This whole misunderstanding could've been avoided if he'd told DD why SR quit/was fired in the first place but he kept it to himself and that's why DD easily believed when everyone said YG and SR were dating. Now, I don't see him announcing to everyone the reason he called off the engagement, so I wonder if DD will listen to him or anything.
As for Anna having cancer, I'm sorry but I don't feel anything. I get that she's sympathetic and we all hate the step mom so we kinda like Anna, but if she needs a life/death situation for her to be honest with DD then so be it. I don't know what she imagined would happen when she kept trying to lure DD's dad away from his wife? Maybe now that she's staring death in the face she'll stop playing games and actually tell the truth no matter the consequence (doubtful but I can hope, right?)
Finally, Dae Bum and his gf are trash. She's as spoiled and idiotic as her mother and just as manipulative. She took advantage of YG's amnesia and doesn't understand boundaries because she doesn't respect Dae Bum's family and feels entitled to whatever she wants. I really can't stand her and Dae Bum just stands there like a block of wood instead of being firm with her. It seems he's not just a money-loving idiot, but also weak willed like his step father. Tbh DD's dad has been so harmful to his children because he never stands up for himself and they have no model for what that should look like (just look at DD), and then he indulged Dae Bum and step mom to this point. Dae Bum really got the worst of all the traits from his mother and step dad. Yuck.
I hope next week's ep proves me wrong about YG but we'll see.
I figured it was a Tyler Durden situation from the first episode but watching the reveal was so much fun ๐ life would've been so much easier if Soo Yeol had just decided to see the investigation through without the constant inner turmoil but it would've also been much less interesting. I'm completely hooked now and I hope it stays this good all through
I knew the poison was going to interrupt their wedding but I'm glad they got through the rites before it happened. I think it's safe to say that the previews are very misleading. I'm going to be mad at FJM forever but his relationship with Di Xu is really beautiful.
I feel really bad for Haishi cos the whiplash of going from your wedding night to being the emperor's consort in the span of a day must be insane.
I am torn by this. On the one hand, I like to see a very unfiltered, simp YG. But it is also painful to see SaRa's…
This isn't new for her though. She may stand up to Sa Ra and the old woman if they hurt the kids but she never stands up for herself. She's just like her dad in that regard, so I'm not surprised she's accepting everything that's happened. Also, I think she still feels like an outsider in the house because it's only been 6 months so she probably thinks there's a lot she doesn't know or understand. Especially since she didn't know why Sa Ra left in the first place.

I'm guessing when she hits rock bottom again, they will resume the story with Uncle Gun. Unless they run into each other while she's out and about living her new life. I wish she would see how futile this whole thing is because even if she marries him, when he gets his memory back he will hate her and possibly divorce her. It's such an ill-concieved plan.
I feel bad for Dan Dan but she cries too much and tears never solved anything.
So it turns out 22 year old Young Guk is a simp LMAO. I was gonna skip the amnesia plot but seeing him turn into an absolute dolt around Sa Ra cos she's pretty had me rolling. I guess I have to stick it out. I'm so curious to see how far they take it. Maybe his memory will come back on his wedding night with Sa Ra lol. That'll be a laugh. She has to marry him quickly cos once he gets his memory back he will certainly go berserk knowing what she and that old woman have done. I suppose once they start planning the wedding Dan Dan will leave to follow Anna to the US or something and then she won't know he got his memory back? Whatever happens, I'll be watching and laughing every week.
Oh, I was also hoping Sa Ra would get out of her own way and start a healthy relationship with Dan Dan's uncle but she's fallen back into her old cycle and things will only get worse before they get good for her. I'm thinking there will be a kidnapping in the future of this drama with Sa Ra at the heart of it.
Honestly as much as they make a nice couple, I do cringe seeing them together, she is so childish and sweet. I…
In terms of maturity, I do think Dan Dan is not bad. She's been through a lot and that, unfortunately, forced her to grow up much sooner than she should have. I mean, she's a lot more mature than ML's sister, who's like 10 years older than she is so I can see their relationship working. It feels like FL and ML can find a healthy middle ground where they can appreciate each other and grow together.
I really don't understand why Yeon Joo just decided to tell Seong Hye all her plans basically. I thought it was supposed to be a covert investigation to catch their enemies by surprise? She even got the upper hand when she found out about the accident 14 years ago but then she just let it all out so Seong Hye could prepare an escape plan?
I know they'll probably still get Seong Hye in the end but that was just such a stupid thing to do for someone who's allegedly a smart and wily prosecutor.
As for the Kang Mi Na reveal, it was a little flat for me. I think I'm just losing interest in the drama overall but I'll keep going cos I've come this far already.
I need a Mark, Ou Wen and Joanna spin off so we can see them being great (and clumsy) parents please. I'd also like to think that Mark's parents will eventually come around and I'd love to see that family reconcile.
Moo Hak is such an adorable idiot. I'm really enjoying this drama and him especially. Also, everyone coming at Da Li like she's the one who put the gallery in debt can choke. She doesn't have to be there fighting to keep it afloat but she is and they're judging her when she was thrust into this bs literally as soon as her father died? Give me a break. That girl at the museum clearly has some unknown beef with Da Li and feels entitled to Da Li's life, and I'm already tired of her.
As for the shitty cousin, he probably had something to do with her father's death and is probably behind whoever broke into the house and the museum.
Someone please teach FL how to draw boundaries cos she doesn't seem to have any understanding of the concept. I'm enjoying this drama a lot but Ji Ho is driving me crazy and making me yell at my screen a lot. I don't know why they've introduced a possible stalker halfway through the drama though, cos she doesn't need another negative experience with a trashy man in her life just to show us that ML is the best of the best. If that's the direction this is going in, I'll be so disappointed.

Universe: How about some amnesia instead?
LMAO (เผเบถ เทด เผเบถ)
