I'm really impressed with his acting. It's like a completely different person. Even when he gets mad and loud it's not the same as before.

So it turns out 22 year old Young Guk is a simp LMAO. I was gonna skip the amnesia plot but seeing him turn into an absolute dolt around Sa Ra cos she's pretty had me rolling. I guess I have to stick it out. I'm so curious to see how far they take it. Maybe his memory will come back on his wedding night with Sa Ra lol. That'll be a laugh. She has to marry him quickly cos once he gets his memory back he will certainly go berserk knowing what she and that old woman have done. I suppose once they start planning the wedding Dan Dan will leave to follow Anna to the US or something and then she won't know he got his memory back? Whatever happens, I'll be watching and laughing every week.

Oh, I was also hoping Sa Ra would get out of her own way and start a healthy relationship with Dan Dan's uncle but she's fallen back into her old cycle and things will only get worse before they get good for her. I'm thinking there will be a kidnapping in the future of this drama with Sa Ra at the heart of it.

In terms of maturity, I do think Dan Dan is not bad. She's been through a lot and that, unfortunately, forced her to grow up much sooner than she should have. I mean, she's a lot more mature than ML's sister, who's like 10 years older than she is so I can see their relationship working. It feels like FL and ML can find a healthy middle ground where they can appreciate each other and grow together.

I really don't understand why Yeon Joo just decided to tell Seong Hye all her plans basically. I thought it was supposed to be a covert investigation to catch their enemies by surprise? She even got the upper hand when she found out about the accident 14 years ago but then she just let it all out so Seong Hye could prepare an escape plan?

I know they'll probably still get Seong Hye in the end but that was just such a stupid thing to do for someone who's allegedly a smart and wily prosecutor.

As for the Kang Mi Na reveal, it was a little flat for me. I think I'm just losing interest in the drama overall but I'll keep going cos I've come this far already.

I need a Mark, Ou Wen and Joanna spin off so we can see them being great (and clumsy) parents please. I'd also like to think that Mark's parents will eventually come around and I'd love to see that family reconcile.

Moo Hak is such an adorable idiot. I'm really enjoying this drama and him especially. Also, everyone coming at Da Li like she's the one who put the gallery in debt can choke. She doesn't have to be there fighting to keep it afloat but she is and they're judging her when she was thrust into this bs literally as soon as her father died? Give me a break. That girl at the museum clearly has some unknown beef with Da Li and feels entitled to Da Li's life, and I'm already tired of her.

As for the shitty cousin, he probably had something to do with her father's death and is probably behind whoever broke into the house and the museum.

Any time she starts talking about women, I scream 😂

Someone please teach FL how to draw boundaries cos she doesn't seem to have any understanding of the concept. I'm enjoying this drama a lot but Ji Ho is driving me crazy and making me yell at my screen a lot. I don't know why they've introduced a possible stalker halfway through the drama though, cos she doesn't need another negative experience with a trashy man in her life just to show us that ML is the best of the best. If that's the direction this is going in, I'll be so disappointed.

I'd say give it a moment and then come back when you have time to spare. Maybe after a few more episodes things will get better 🤷🏾‍♀️

It's only been 2 episodes so I don't want to pass judgement on this show, BUT, it is so hard to sit through. It's really slow and while it's beautiful to watch, it's just boring. I fell asleep multiple times while watching episode 2 and that's never a good sign. It also feels like each episode could be at least 10 to 15 mins shorter if they took out the unnecessary slow motion and the long product placement shots and ad placements. At a point I started to wonder if this was just an elaborate ad campaign rather than a drama with a plot.

I may end up putting this on hold until it ends so I can just speed through the series. I hope it gets better now that we're finally getting some insight into Aue's character (barely) cos his motivations have been almost nonexistent from the start.

Characters like Doo Shik always have some darkness around them that they're either constantly battling or are just getting away from. I wonder which of the doctors Doo Shik went to visit in ep 3. On account of the nightmares, I'm suspecting the psychiatrist but that's also because I don't want him to have some terminal illness. I think he's been through some stuff and that's why he has become this person who seems aimless but is actually integral to the fabric of his community.

I'm looking forward to Hye Jin becoming more of a part of the community too and learning more about the virtues of caring for other people and getting involved sometimes. I like that the grandma has seen the softer side of Hye Jin that she tries to hide so at least someone other than Doo Shik knows that she's a really good and caring person.

I wish they'd left it out and given us more of SX doing literally anything lol. I was so glad Maria got on board finally. Also would've liked more Cong Rong (maybe I'm exchange for HM x the president). I wouldn't mind another season with all the same characters except HM and Wang Mingyu 😂 I'll miss all the back and forth too. Gotta find something new to fill the void now that this is over.

Ahhh. Now I get why some things seemed so disjointed. That's a shame. I wish they'd left it at 50 cos this show definitely could've done with more episodes.

Finished with some questions unanswered but ultimately I really enjoyed this show. I still don't understand the relationship between Hong Mei and the president... Maybe I missed something? How did they get to him having dinner at her house? What did Su Xiao mean when she said Hong Mei had options? Also, HM telling SX to just ignore the bad again tells me more about her character. (I must say again, how did she afford this new apartment??? It's even bigger and better than Su Xiao's place!)

I liked the conclusion because I dream of corporations doing what the president wants rather than just using, abusing and abandoning people who give everything to their jobs. I would've liked a clear punishment for Wang Mingyu cos it seemed like they just moved on from him trying to usurp the presidency and his fraud.

Su Xiao and Xia Ming getting back together? I can see that happening now that they have separated their interests professionally. If XM is leading the merged company in another market, they won't have any conflict of interest. I'm glad Su Xiao is happy in the end cos she deserves it.

All in all, 8.5/10. Would've been a 9 but the end did feel a bit rushed.

I feel like Hong Mei and her bf had been living in that place because he insisted that they save all their money to buy a house for marriage. I wouldn't be surprised if he was the one who made them live there even though they could've afforded a better place. I'm about to start the final episode so maybe there will be an explanation there.

Just want to add that Su Xiao's father is so awesome. I love the advice and support he gives her cos it's always rooted in love and reality. Definitely up there in my list of best cdrama dads 😁

From eps 38-39 it's obvious that although XM is incredibly smart and strategic, he really didn't understand the president after all. I think Su Xiao is one of the few people who really has faith in the president and his intentions for the company. The man is likely the only conglomerate CEO I've seen in a cdrama who's main goal is the wellbeing of the entire company and not just profit for profit's sake. Everyone else is so caught up in trying to amass wealth & power for their own enjoyment and he's just tryna keep the company strong. I wish the president, SX and XM had teamed up earlier cos they are a powerful trio.

I'm also glad Hong Mei finally took a step forward and away from a relationship that wasn't making her happy. I'm curious about her new place though. It looks expensive lol.

I'm really excited for the finale today. This show has been so much fun to watch and this comment section has been so engaging! I am looking forward to the downfall of WM cos the president clearly has a plan for all of this. I'm not sure if I want a second season of this show cos I don't want it to end but I also don't know where they would go with it.

This! Su Xiao is not immune to human emotions and connections but she knows that the ends do not justify the means. She would've lost her way a long time ago if she allowed herself to become like Xia Ming. XM basically saw the darkness and decided to become it in order to overcome it, but SX is trying to bring light into it. Like her, I understand Xia Ming's decisions but that doesn't mean she has to go along with them. Especially when she has been the victim of so much rubbish office politics so far.
