I really like this drama, but i can`t ignore the fact that the way they handled Namgoong Jae Soo is not right.…
I had the exact same problem with the way they handled Jae Soo. They kept going on and on about how they're not allowed to go to the past, and you can't change anything , but as soon as it became convenient they threw all that out the window. Also, as soon as the sister mentioned not having a picture of their dad, I knew he was going to find a way to change that and I was disappointed to be right.
I also find Joon Woong a little annoying because he reacts to everything like a 5 year old no matter how many times it happens. It gets tiresome after a while tbh.
I don't get why Ok Sun blames Mo Ran for her husband being a useless man. Mo Ran clearly ended things with him a long time ago but the idiot couldn't let go and move on, and while there are many things to pin on Mo Ran, Ok Sun's empty marriage isn't one of them, imo. She should've divorced that man when she found out instead of torturing herself for no reason.
As for Woo Hyun, I guess she's getting to a place where she feels she has nothing to lose and is willing to do whatever it takes to survive now. It's unfortunate that everyone seems to have used her for one reason or another, and now she's in this awful position. I also think she should just divorce her husband since she already asked him to leave the house.
I'm curious to see how it all unfolds now that Ok Sun has revealed her grudge and Mo Ran is making her final moves. I do wish Mo Ran would leave Woo Hyun alone though.
knew forecasters wife was losing her marbles over jealousy. She still shouldve spoken up sooner heck 2-3 years…
I don't like the way the forecaster's wife is putting this all on him when she just endured quietly for this whole time. She should know she married an idiot and he won't know anything is wrong if you don't spell it out for him, so I don't know what she expected at this stage. I'm so tired of her trying to turn his daughter against him because she has issues with him. The girl clearly wants to spend more time with him, especially now that they're discovering things they have in common, but the wife is determined to let her bitterness influence her daughter and possibly ruin the child's life. Very annoying.
she saw what his dad was like and saw they didnt get along how dare she bring him to the hospital! Was this some…
I kept waiting for her to say literally anything, but she just stood there with her mouth open and a dead look in her eyes. It's not like she had to hide their relationship at that point cos everyone there already knows now, and what does it matter at that point anyway? She's such a disappointment for me.
I've been trying to defend Ha Kyung but ep 12 was an absolute disaster. She met Shi Woo's dad once and the man tried to blackmail her immediately, then Shi Woo told her all his issues with the man, and STILL, she took him to the hospital while Shi Woo was in an extremely vulnerable state. As if that wasn't bad enough, she stood there with that vapid look on her face while he caused scene after scene, even when she could see how agitated Shi Woo was made by his presence, up until the man slapped Shi Woo for not going along with his scam. She's supposed to be an authority figure in the weather agency and at the very least, I expected that to kick in once she could see what a mistake it was to bring that man to the hospital. Tiresome. It seems the only person she has smoke for is her ex because she knows she can bully him and he won't talk back.
Shi Woo deserves better than this, honestly. /Rant over ๐
Is Joo Hee a main character in this drama? Cos she gets little to no time while Mi Jo's boyfriend and his family troubles take up a large chunk of the run-time. It's very annoying to me.
I'm still on episode 4 and I don't understand how neither of the sisters learned any kind of self defence. All they do is run and shriek which would be fine if they hadn't been on the run for their entire lives. It really irks me. They don't even run away sensibly cos when one of them is placed between a building full of people and an empty forest while being chased, she of course, chose the empty forest. Literally could've run to the building to ask for help and slow the attacker down, but she chose to run off into a forest for some reason. Things like this irritate me.
Seasons 1 and 2 were hot garbage, and so is this season but I'm enjoying it now that I've let go of any expectations…
I'm currently watching purely for Shi Eun and her engineer, but holy hell is this writer nuts. Everything else is completely wild and makes no sense, but the joy I get from seeing Shi Eun happy keeps me from turning off the show.
The young CEO is obviously a creep but if that's what it takes for SPY to have some fun and move on, I'm okay with it. As long as he doesn't hurt her or her daughter. I haven't liked him since he showed up but I can't feel sorry for what's her face cos he dumped her again.
Can't believe it took 3 seasons for us to see any of the wives happy, but here we are. I'm not looking forward to that Shi Eun's useless ex trying to worm his way back after abandoning his family.
Seasons 1 and 2 were hot garbage, and so is this season but I'm enjoying it now that I've let go of any expectations of logic or coherence ๐ episode 6 was an absolute banger!
I was happy until they refused to let Tak take down the guy who killed his brother. They kept telling us Tak was the best fighter in their class, and the best athlete but Seung Hyun was able to beat the guy up and he got his butt handed to him? I know they wanted Seung Hyun to shine as the hero but I would have felt a lot better if Tak had been able to complete his brother's work. Instead it was a moment for SH and for his father to redeem himself (again, without even acknowledging Tak's brother who was the first victim)
Overall, it was a good show but that whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. Tak deserved better.
I agree with you but do still have some empathy for the mother. She has given up her life to raise their child,…
I'm finding it hard to empathize with the mother because even the daughter said if she wants a divorce it's fine, but she doesn't seem to know what she wants. Yes, he was away, but she also never let him know that his absence was a problem. Everything their daughter knows about him has been from her mother, including her attitude towards him. The daughter felt uncomfortable and indifferent to him because her mother was uncomfortable around him and didn't like seeing him. I still think he's an idiot for leaving instead of working on his marriage but both of them are to blame for the current situation.
I hate to say it, but the guys are all incredibly stupid. I can't even feel bad for Daeil cos what exactly did he think would happen? The only one I empathize with is Tak cos if I was in his shoes I wouldn't want anything to do with the police either, but I wish he'd talk to one of his other friends at least instead of retreating into himself.
Anyway, Daeil may not actually die but I wouldn't be mad if he did at this point, and I need Seunghyun to get it together.
If QM doesn't die by the end of this drama, I will be deeply unhappy. QX deserves to be with someone who is a decent human being and not someone who violated him and doesn't see anything wrong with every horrible thing she has done since then. She used to be selfish, spoiled, cowardly and brainless but now she's just a vile coward. Like she had a chance to redeem herself by throwing QY that sword but instead she ran off and prayed silently for her sister to die.
Anyway, LY and QY are an amazing team as usual and I'm so proud of QX for stepping up and making a difference in these last episodes. YL still deserves to eat dirt forever.
I don't hate the wife, but she's doing way too much for a man that clearly wants nothing to do with her imo. It's either that she just wants them both to be miserable or she is really broken (cos how else did she think she'd get away with passing someone else's child off as his forever?). I do blame JS though cos he's selfish and inconsiderate. Everything has to be when he wants no matter who it hurts cos he should've gotten divorced a long time ago and should def stay away from CY until his divorce is final.
I'm really only here for Joo Hee at this point cos she's so lovely and sweet and I was so glad she went off on that crazy customer (although tbh I can't imagine anyone actually trying to claim a full price refund for something they bought on sale ๐คฃ). I wish she'd kept that lottery ticket cos she deserves that money. I guess the chef will break up with his gf eventually since she's so ashamed of him and making him question himself for no reason. Someone already said it here but idk why the doctor's sister is getting more screentime and story development than Joo Hee. It irks me.
The hair extension is a paid actor and it does more than FL in any given scene ๐ I'm just glad I saw The Red Sleeve before this cos I would've skipped that if this was my first experience with Lee Se Young. I'm watching the whole thing though because I do love LSY and I love Ji Sung.
