I don't know him so I would never talk about his personality. All my comments are about the characters and how they are portrayed. I can't really help how anyone takes my comments but you asked for clarification and I tried to provide it.

I think he has a tendency to be a bit stiff and one dimensional with his characters and this one seems more fleshed out and lived in. As I said though, for me.

Title Who Rules the World Spoiler
HFX’S ACTIONS REALLY SHOUT LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT >
I knew he was a lost cause when he said he would make those assassins pay for putting a scratch on her 😂 also every time he looks at her.

It's weird to say, but I think Zhao Lu Si humanizes Yang Yang a lot for me. She has a way of bringing her costars down to earth and making you care about them and it's working here again. I love their banter onscreen and I really look forward to seeing the relationship grow as the show progresses.

Gonna preface this by saying Nut is absolutely a jerk. He's in recovery now, but that definitely doesn't go away overnight.

I said before that ep 9 was the start of healing and that continued in ep 10. Nut finally talking about Tarn without breaking down was really good to see. Job is doing amazing in this role because the difference between Nut pre-trauma and present day Nut is like night and day. He had an optimism and innocence in spite of his abusive, homophobic father that was eventually taken away and what we see now is the result of that. This show is therapeutic in some ways because we are all taken on the healing journey with Nut. It would be unrealistic if he became a perfect person overnight just because of Tofu and while it's not something we're used to seeing onscreen, I appreciate it. You can see the work Nut is doing and it's very hard work. It may take the rest of his life to undo the damage that was done and he will hurt the people closest to him while he does it, but he's trying and he's making progress.

I was really mad at Na for not protecting Nut when he was a child but as someone said here, she was also in an abusive situation. She was clearly scared of Sib and even though she wanted to, she ultimately couldn't keep Nut from being hurt by his father. This of course makes no sense to young Nut because he expected love and protection from his mother and seeing her helplessly standing by while his father broke him must have felt like the ultimate betrayal to a child. I hope Na and Nut have a real conversation soon because I'm really scared that something will happen to Na before they can properly understand each other and reconcile.

Tofu was perfect as usual, trying to be the ultimate peacekeeper while also getting Nut to calm down and see reason. Also, props to In too because he plays Tofu and Neung so differently and so well.

Gen and Song really held my attention in ep 10 and that was a surprise to me cos I haven't been as invested in their relationship. I liked Song actually trying to talk to Gen about their relationship.

Finally, Nut and Tarn absolutely stole the show in this episode. The progression of Nut's feelings from crushing on Neung to falling for Tarn while Tarn was being so understanding and supportive was very believable. I'm now in a conundrum cos I'd root for Tarn and Nut just as hard as I root for Nut and Tofu.

Ultimately though, I still have a sneaking suspicion that Tofu is only here for a specific purpose, and that is to help Nut heal and love again, and I can see him returning to teddy bear status when that is done. Tarn and Nut may eventually reunite because it's clear both of them are still somewhat stuck in the past and they need each other to move forward. It'll hurt, but I believe Tofu of all people would understand and want that for Nut.

Questions : do you think we will get a reveal that Neung knew all along about Nut's feelings for him ? I find…
I think Tofu's memories only started after he came alive with Nut so he wouldn't remember Tarn as his first owner. From what they showed it was Nut's tears that brought Tofu to life, if I remember correctly. As for Neung, I also wonder if he was really that oblivious. I think he knew Tarn had a thing for Nut at the very least.

At first I didn't mind the thought because it was clear that Tofu was really just there to help them heal, but now that he's said he doesn't want to go back to being a teddy bear, I realize that I don't want it either.

Ep 9 surprised me , it was the best episode so far, there is honesty and a plot that I've never seen in bl before,…
Idk, I feel like Nut's anger isn't meant to be rosy. His outbursts are meant to be as uncomfortable for us as they are for the characters because they're wrong. His anger while rooted in trauma, is not meant to be palatable or glossed over. It's meant to be confronted and worked through in the difficult way. I think if it was softer it wouldn't have the same impact. Putting aside the fact that the actor is ridiculously good-looking, I wouldn't want to reduce the effect of the character's behaviour just because he's cute.

Nut has needed the validation of unconditional love for his entire life and that's what he gets from Tofu. It's allowing him to see that there are other ways to work though pain than anger and lashing out, which will make him even more attractive to the viewers. At least that's what I think.

I think I'd call ep 9 the healing episode. Nearly everyone heard things they should've heard a long time ago and it's started the journey to healing. My top 2 moments from the episode were Tofu telling Nut that there's nothing wrong with love or him for loving a man, and Gen's mom talking to Song about a parent's love for their children. Both conversations were about love but Nut really needed to hear what Tofu said because it's obvious he feels wrong for being who he is in spite of his attempts to live his life confidently. His father did so much damage to him as a child and it also makes me wonder if Na didn't stand up to her husband because she felt guilty for marrying him when she was clearly in love with someone else, or if she felt guilty because Nut is Saen's son. The man was a homophobic pos and honestly I wish he'd died much sooner.

I hope Nut and Na have a more honest and calm conversation soon cos I didn't like the preview for ep 10 where screaming Nut is back again. He's been doing so well and I don't want to go back to disliking him.

As for Tofu and the mysterious magic of the house objects, I really don't understand it. Why are some objects going to sleep now? Can Tofu still be affected since he's human? When will Ms Left Slipper come back?!?!?!😭

This show is a lot better than it has any right to be tbh, and I'm glad I gave it a chance. Oh! Also, glad to see Gen being much less dramatic in his responses to Song 🥰

A Mi and Ga Bin talmbout they didn't think the ex wives of the men they snatched would remarry like this was so funny to me cos you literally had relationships with married men and ruined those women's lives, but them getting married now is somehow a turnoff? I think Ga Bin is the mistress I like the least cos she never actually loved the idiot professor, she just wrecked that home because she could.

I can't believe I'm back watching this show but once I turned off all logical thinking and expectations of plot, it became a wonderfully hilarious ride. Oh! What if the doctor's mother meets DM's dad and decides to try and seduce him? 😂😂😂 I wouldn't put anything past this crazy writer. Also don't care for that housekeeper in the big house who thinks Pi Young and Shi Eun owe her something. I've been suspicious of her since they kept zooming in on her face anytime she was in a scene 🙄

I don't care about anything but the weddings now. I just want the weddings to actually happen.

Title Kill Heel Spoiler
Ok Sun and the chairman's murderer of a wife are actually 2 peas in a pod. I don't know why Woo Hyun had to be dragged into this whole scheme but now she's tethered herself to Hyun Wook so there's no way out. I still don't fully understand Gi Mo Ran and why she decided to take over the company, but maybe that was her plan all along. It looks like she never liked the chairman or his family from the preview for ep 13.

I can only hope all the secrets come out fully next week. Oddly, I never once cared for any of the side characters, including the producer who's in love with Woo Hyun but I did feel a little bad for him when he finally realized that there was no way Woo Hyun would ever look in his direction. I imagine that girl who has a crush on him will pick up the pieces and I'll skip right past all those scenes 😂

Gen isn’t an opening up person when it comes to love. In a scene, he told his parents that he didn’t like…
You're right of course. Drama must drama.

Their first meeting did not go well, and Gen thinks Song doesn't treat him respectfully. But Gen isn't so much…
I'm not comparing the 2, just saying I don't need to add to the conversation about Nut cos it's obvious he's a problem, and Gen did actually cause the accident the first time they met, then quickly became hostile even when he was paying for Song's treatment at the hospital. I'm not saying he's a bad person, I just want him to maybe treat Song with the same patience and kindness he preaches about with Nut & Tofu.

I don’t agree with you saying Cha Woo In isn’t good at the revenge or can’t control her emotions cuz she…
Sure she planned it... But NHY also knew who she was and what she was doing the whole time. Also, DBM had one instance of almost losing control which I don't think makes her better than him since she's always scowling or something at the people she's targeting. DBM learned to smile in the face of his enemies so they don't know what he's up to and she doesn't seem to know the value of that. I don't think even NHY can say with certainty that DBM knows anything more about his parent's death than what he has presented.

Well to be fair the only person we are absolutely sure NHY has killed is the mine hero and that guy pretty much…
I mean... even if the plot twist is that she didn't kill DBM's parents, one murder is still one too many to be on such a high horse imo.

I can accept that, but he can be all those things without being so abrasive imo. Also, it's not like he doesn't feel anything for Song so I'm just saying maybe he can take his own advice and stop being so weird.

I find it hilarious that NHY can see all the evil the men around her do, but can't see how her actions have no justification just because she has what she considers a righteous motive. She legit murdered people for power but still thinks she's better than the general who assaulted and abused his subordinates? Also, anytime she has an opportunity to prevent a disaster with her son, she veers off in the opposite direction because she's just incapable of humanity or empathy.

I don't really vibe with Cha Woo In because she seems to be very bad at this revenge business and I can't imagine how she would've gotten this far without the other rich guy and now DBM helping her. She can fight and look cool, sure, but she's not a great thinker and she can't seem to hide her emotions well enough to survive. Plot armor will plot armor though, so she's of course, the best at everything, apparently.

As for the betrayal, I can't tell if it's for real yet but I wouldn't be surprised. It may be fake cos it would make infinitely more sense to have NHY and YMG tear each other down rather than trying to fight them both, so I'll hold out a little hope for that. I think at this point YMG can see that NHY doesn't really value loyalty and NHY is starting to see that YMG is coming for her neck.

On a lighter note, I let out such a sigh of relief when DBM slammed the general on the floor. He deserved much worse for everything he put his subordinates through and I hope he also gets dishonorably discharged and is shamed forever. I hope his sister and her rotten son get some jail time too.
