I'm really enjoying the major conflicts and the business politics but for some reason I have zero interest in any of the side characters and their stories. CKY and XHX are fascinating to me but my favourite character is Qin Min. In general, the women are great, the men are forgettable, and I wish someone would slap Lu Bin Bin at least once every day cos he is the worst kind of slime.

I think this show is underrated and I hope it gets more attention eventually.

Title The Autumn Ballad Spoiler
The true villain of this show is the Emperor because who brings back a CORRUPT official! He not only brought him…
9 times out of 10 these emperors are always insecure, paranoid, and incompetent and then wonder why the empire is falling apart. He didn't even make Yuan Lang prove himself or anything. Just brought him back and then let him ruin one of the most loyal and families in the court.

Title The Autumn Ballad Spoiler
I really need Qiu Min to stop being a damsel in distress especially when everyone is in the same sinking boat. Life is harsh and this is the time for her to finally step up and act like she's not going to be a burden for the rest of her life. I saw a spoiler in a comment here that I hope is a misinterpretation cos it's a tired trope, but I wouldn't at all be surprised if it happens considering the foreshadowing that already took place when they arrived at the brothel.

Once again, I was glad to see Qiu Yan and Liang Yi working together but her impulsiveness keeps making things more difficult than they need to be. Also, can someone please kick Yuan Lang off a cliff or something? He already ruined the entire family but that's not enough for him. Imagine having your whole personality be "making sure Liang Yi isn't happy". What an absolute d***h**d.

Title The Autumn Ballad Spoiler
the female lead is so impulsive and often raise her voice in every situation (which i think some are not needed…
The way she kept jumping from accusing the grandmother to the aunt to her father in the span of mere moments was annoying. Even Liang Yi wanted her to pause and think but she wouldn't listen. They do match each other's personalities beautifully, and I wonder if that gold handcuff will cause problems soon.

Title The Autumn Ballad Spoiler
Qiu Yan has disappointed me in these last 2 episodes cos she hasn't been using her brain like she normally would. I know that it's mostly grief, but I couldn't help feeling let down. I wonder what's going to happen next cos if her father admits to the frame up job, then they're completely doomed. I also don't see grandma making it out of this alive but we'll see.

Liang Yi is doing his darndest to distance himself from them so that snake will stop pushing but I think it's too late now. That guy has to see this through to the end or die trying.

Anyone else think in episode 5 that seunghyun was making a bigger deal of the whole cheating thing with his senior…
Nah, the senior was the one who dragged him into it by trying to explain and then telling a lie that could easily be proven to be a lie. Plus, he was going to get reported anyway since Seunghyun wasn't the only one that saw it.

Title Rookie Cops Spoiler
is yoo na a villain/bad person? 😭😭
I think that character is just misguided. She's doing things that are objectively not bad (maybe even right), but her methods are questionable at best. I also feel like the detective from her past has manipulated her into not trusting anyone but him and that's contributed to how she is now. I don't see her as a villain at all. The detective may be good but he's using her as a tool for his own revenge and that's just wrong.

From the trailer it looks like the wedding won't happen because of yet another scandal, so I guess we (me & ML) don't have to worry about ML having an affair with his sister in law lol.

I really like Qiu Yan for many reasons, but especially cos she doesn't succumb to emotional blackmail like most FLs. I'm enjoying this show so far, and I hope it stays this good.

but I think the reason is not age gap, but because YG already had 3 kids. I think this is main objection for Mr.…
I find that ridiculous as well cos weren't they trying to set her up with someone a few episodes ago? They want her to get married and have kids but not THESE kids and THIS man? She's about to be 30 and then they'll start going on about how she's turning into an old spinster and disappointing her family. Their excuses are so tiresome.

Title You're My Sky Spoiler
Oh, for God's sake! Does Thailand produce nothing but refreshing drinks and snacks? Or are the owners of the refreshing…
Totally agree with the product placement in ep 5 being way too much lol. But for the couples... I don't think Dome & Vee don't understand their feelings, cos if they didn't they wouldn't have had the conversation about stopping and going back to how they were. It's more that Dome is dating Vee's sister, not that they don't know how they feel.

Also, Fah and Thorn are really just trying to reconnect and get to know each other again after drifting so far apart and dealing with the basketball scandal. Fah even seems to have accepted that he likes Thorn so now he's probably going to explore that carefully, like with any new relationship.

As for Saen and Aii, they're the lighthearted, cute couple of the show for me. I think Saen has been so focused on schoolwork that he's never really had to deal with liking anyone or having someone really like him before, and he's not running away from it.

I haven't really gotten any internalized homophobia vibes from any of them because their problems haven't been tied to 'liking a boy and what that means', but rather to their individual personalities and relationships. They don't seem to have problems with boys liking boys, there are just other things going on.

Title Fathers Spoiler
This was so frustrating to watch. I didn't like the way they sent that poor child off to live with actual unstable strangers for a week on the recommendation of some unprofessional social worker. That woman should've been fired for what she did. Not only is it putting Butr in harm's way, but she had no right to hunt down his birth mother and force a reunion. Especially when said birth mother was just mourning the loss of another child. If I was Yuke or Phoon, I wouldn't rest until she lost her job because she'll do the same thing to another family down the line.

As for Phoon though, my goodness was it upsetting to watch him just give up. I needed him to stand his ground as Butr's legal parent and as Yuke's partner and I was so sad when he really let Butr go and was so cold and harsh to him for being a curious child. Yuke tried to fight but I understood him letting go once he realized he was in it on his own.

It's not a bad movie, but it's so frustrating to watch.

I have never in my life seen such an awful collection of women who have bore children. I don’t even want to…
I took a break during the amnesia plot but things only seem to have gone further off the rails since then. Also, the irony of Ms Wang's whole position is that if she wasn't such an insecure, snobbish POS, Se Ryeon would've married Dae Bum and gotten those shares a long time ago.

I really want DD and YG to also kneel down when her father comes kneeling asking them to break up. Then they can have a "stand off" and see who gives in first πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ who says Soo Chul is the only one allowed to kneel?

I laughed so hard when SC crashed and the only reason I didn't wish him dead was cos that would just be another thing weighing on DD.

I share your thoughts. I really like the leads progression of their relationship and listening to LKS inner thoughts…
The part about the doctor really eats at me, cos I don't think we ever actually got any remorse from him about his role in all of it.

So the doctor got to keep practicing medicine until he left with Elise? That's so disappointing.

The end was really odd (singing and dancing?) but I'm glad it's over and I'm glad I watched it. I really enjoyed all the food and the lead couple once JQF stopped being so mean to Ke Song. My favourite characters were Ke Song, Uncle Lin and Ke Song's parents.

It's a fun watch and I think it's better to binge so everyone seeing it now that all the episodes are out will probably like it more.

Victor justs pops in and out of scenes like a jack rabbit. He was forcing food down the Bike Lady's throat, and…
Oh yikes. I saw one scene with him asking the doctor why someone wouldn't like food he made but I skipped it before I could get the context. I guess he was talking about the Bike Lady. I guess they're going to be a thing now? *Sigh*

I nearly felt bad for Lin Xiaoyu when the parents were talking about her childhood after her mother left, but I couldn't quite summon the sympathy. I feel like this character will make it hard for me to like this actress in anything else and I guess that's a testament to her good work lol.

If this drama ends without Elise and the crooked doctor going to prison, I will be extremely disappointed. They should never be happy or know a moment's peace for the rest of their miserable lives.

Finally, I really have to say this drama made Victor so unappealing that I skipped all his scenes and now I don't even know what is happening with the bike shop lady. This is the biggest sin of the show for me cos the only reason I even decided to watch it was cos of WZC 😭

Oh, shout-out to Ke Song's parents yet again for being the MVPs.

Did Xyiyahu did that intentionally to hurt herself or was it accident?
It was an accident. She was being too arrogant and wasn't careful enough about what she was doing.
