Has anyone finished watching this drama yet? I've heard a lot of good things about it so I'm wondering how much…
For one thing, this drama has such a strong realism approach that you can easily ignore the fact that its been casts with almost nondescript actors (previously seen in villains or supporting roles). You forget those things in the light of watching an edge of your seat narrative. Yet, the problem is that in conclusion, it didn't feel like "The End of the World". So, I'm guessing that's how it suffered from the cut.

Also, ending was fine by me, it returned to being whimsy by simply concluding on that final vow the couple made to each other. Others may have been waiting for another magical moment and other types of confrontation and reunions. But those would have been redundant and will only shatter the main theme.

Liked this drama for giving off the "My Sister's Keeper" and "Biscuit Teacher" vibe... It also highlighted different points of view on a mother's love...

They didn't give justice to Seo Yoon Jae's character :(
I would say its because the character wasn't really the central focus of the story.

It is definitely fun and hilarious; depending on your character, you may or may not get annoyed with the sometimes overblown (caricature) way they've made of Miss Kim's character.

I'm down to the last 12 episodes and I've still been putting it on hold for a long time. I've stopped when I realized where everything is heading and I can't seem to muster the desire to actually watch it unfold because I know I won't be sympathetic anyway. Its a kind of dilemma as I've already spent 55 hours on this series, more than half of it I've even watched in raw. With only 6 hrs left, it should have a breeze finishing this. Now as I read some of these comments, its obvious that the series had taken an unexpectedly wrong tone after it reached its 100th mark. In any case, I think it would be good to finish this when I've forgotten why I've stopped and maybe I can take it up again with some fresh open mind. Then again, I do have a very long memory...

I've decided to drop this, since I've been putting it on hold for awhile. If I ever take it up again it may be after a very long time has passed. It's not only because there aren't that much subs available. Having watched almost a quarter of the series, I've appreciated some family dynamics and good conflicts, even some interesting relationships and characters, but I can't seem to warm up to the heroine, and to other pairings that have been highlighted. The plot so far has been actually good, technically, yet I'm not emotionally invested, so for now I can't really feel any pull to continue watching.

Person Park Ha Sun
Saw her on Ad Genius Lee Tae Baek, and her facial expressions and acting was reminding me so much of Ryu Deok Hwan, like she's the male version of him. Then a niggling feeling reminded me there was some news bits (or scandal) on Ryu Deok Hwan (God's Quiz, Faith), so researched it to calm my spidey sense, and lo! the girl on that news with him was really Park Ha Sun :D They must have rubbed off on each other...

Some episodes bored me.. But I can't stop watching it 'til the end because I really love Lee Tae Baek ?..
Second that. I took a long break after episode 13 really before I finally decided to finish it. Lee Tae Baek was really likeable & when I realized that Jin Goo was the one on ESP Couple (a very cute movie that I liked), I actually went to re-watch it.
On That Winter, the Wind Blows Apr 5, 2013
Its been really great three-quarters of the way, then it just folded for me on episodes 14-15. I couldn't bring myself to care what the characters were doing then. The finale almost made a comeback, but it was just too late, too short to revive its initial greatness. I wouldn't have been so disappointed with the flaws if I had not been made so enthralled and suckered in from the start. However, great production value with great actors, still made for a worthwhile drama watch.

I've taken this drama based on synopsis while gauging all reviews and comments. There's bits that I would have…
I did finally managed to finish this. And for a more concrete conclusion, I'd say that besides the flawed writing, most major characters had been miscasted, excepting 'the great general lee sung gye'. I consider the ending even a bit cheesy.
On The Neighbors Mar 25, 2013
very nicely done but what's even more surprising is that it managed to present several characterization of each personalities in that neighborhood. not one scene can be considered trivial. a very compact and meaningful film. get this on your list!

I've taken this drama based on synopsis while gauging all reviews and comments. There's bits that I would have nitpicked on from the very beginning but it really begun to nag on me starting at episode 15, from then on the flaws just keeps jabbing on my sensibilities. And now I couldn't barely bring myself to finish the last 3 episodes. It simply failed to convinced me, of "the great seer", of "a great love", of "a son's devotion and love for his mother". It just goes to say that it failed to convince me of many things. By chance, I decided to start "Faith" since I needed something new to get pass my slump with this drama. Boy! what a surprise that "Faith" was tackling the same period of Goryeo Dynasty and so I'm actually watching the same characters in Korean history. And for comparison, I've already completed that drama in under 3 days time while I'm still deliberating when I can finish this one.
On Voice of a Murderer Jan 22, 2013
as this is based on a true unsolved crime, all you can expect from this film by way of satisfaction is maybe to appease your curiosity on the nature of the criminal and the devastation of a family. this is more than a tragic movie...

I've been watching this un-subbed from episode 33 since I couldn't wait for the subtitle releases. I've actually 'dramathoned' it till the last available raw video release. This doesn't really mean that its all great and addicting. But the story is quite good, though a little familiar.

What's interesting to note here, with the full back story already given, is that the present is a mystery as to who the adult that the kid turned out to be. You are given four adults, a surgeon, anesthetist, psychiatrist, and a rouge friend of the surgeon. This mystery is presented in sure-footed fashion with lots of red-herrings.

This was great through the first half. Cool and intense with good pacing. What clearly differentiates it from other medical drama is its main subject which I found interesting, the fusion of old traditional eastern and modern western medicine. Think of normal brain surgery using acupuncture for anesthetics. The conflicts were clear, not just with medical ideologies and practices, but also on character relationships. Because what really drew me to this drama is its medical aspects, I found that it flagged on its second half and I felt somewhat disengaged whenever it veered away from this plotline to focus on the emotional predicaments of the characters. However, for those who would appreciate good character development in a medical drama then this is also a nice drama for consideration.
