Omg same, puts me right back in the feels. I know for spotify, they've one song... It's this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaOkOgudwNA&t=7sPretty…
I'm waiting for the release of the instrumentals too. Especially that song they play whenever CSS and LBY have sweet moments. E.g. when he escorted her carriage into the city in Ep 16.
Let's a bit increase comments, and everyone write his 3 most favorite and 3 most hateful/annoying characters)))…
Most favorite: 1. Ah Qi and Ah Fei 2. Emperor 3. The whole Cheng family & Lian Fang (minus 2nd Aunt)
Most hateful/annoying: 1. Luo Ji Tang - she's calculating her every move. And I don't like how she tries to hide under a veneer of friendship. The other girls are immature, have too high an opinion of themselves, histrionic, and tiresome. But what you see is what you get.
HHabhab, yesterday I dying from second embarrassment for LBY , and today SS turn 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣https://twitter.com/Lilytail_D/status/1552245819637526528?t=tfCasGz3gmTD4YgNYbsa6g&s=19
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 This is hilarious. He almost fell over playing horsie. Ah Fei will be telling this joke instead now 😅
I'm still marvelling over this as I picked this drama up randomly, with not a clue about the storyline nor any idea of who this production involved. Every episode, I look forward to what's been shown in the trailers but each and every time, the show delivers far more than the anticipated. So much is packed into each episode and yet, nothing ever feels rushed. Even having read some spoilers, this doesn't seem to have diminished my enjoyment and anticipation of what's to come next.
I know people are disappointed by the lack of OST in this drama ... But the instrumental bgm is equally satisfying....…
The instrumental BGM fits really well with the scenes. I feel like it actually pushes the quality of the production up a notch. Personally, it irks me listening to wailing BGMs for the nth time in many a drama.
The Duke of Ruyang spent years trying to attain enlightenment and was schooled in one conversation with SS 🤣…
HZJ this episode is also well portrayed again. She comes across as more subdued and reflective after that exchange with LBY, after the execution. But still very much scarred by past events. The characters are so well fleshed out in this story/drama and three dimensional, true to life. So rare in many dramas.
Director Fei ... another two episodes that surpassed my expectations. He really knows how to tell an engaging…
The Duke of Ruyang spent years trying to attain enlightenment and was schooled in one conversation with SS 🤣 🤣 🤣
HZJ and CSS's conversation was a very nice surprise. One can see respect coming out of that, and a possible friendship growing between them in the future. Interesting difference in the lenses with which each of them view LBY.
Director Fei ... another two episodes that surpassed my expectations. He really knows how to tell an engaging tale! All the characters are so very relatable. The power that radiates from LBY. He is absolutely overwhelming and formidable.
Niao Niao comparing herself to a table in front of Lord Ruyang. I have no clue how this will play out but after…
Guessing from his expression that he will think she's a right fit for LBY and will be in favour of their engagement. Ep 27 trailer shows they are formally engaged 🥰 And the old Duke also appears with the Emperor in one of the BTS clips where LBY and CSS are dressed in red toned robes.
I re-watched the 19th episode. I was amazed by the visual at the scene when LingLing invited NiaoNiao to meet…
A most beautiful and captivating scene. Thank you for the detailed explanation. I'm going to rewatch Ep 19 with an enhanced appreciation of all the symbolic elements.
1. Ah Qi and Ah Fei
2. Emperor
