The Lovesick Queen Maker and his peace-loving & compassionate Wife.
This would have been insane if they made it longer and if it was handled by a better production company with sufficient budget. The main idea and how the story was set up is something that has been attempted for years and I truly feel bad that a potentially good story like this went to a mediocre company who turned it into something underwhelming—disappointing.Although the entire show is full of plot holes, like literally left and right, I can really see that this type of narrative could have been built into a more comprehensive and detailed platform where it can be given a chance to elaborate and incorporate the real message of the story with more precision. The way it was created and ended felt so rushed, that I myself started feeling bad that it was treated and squandered like that.
Something I initially like about this drama is its pacing—It went by so quickly not wasting any episodes throughout its first half but ended up ruining the other half eventually. All I can say is that their idea of putting up the story like that escalated pretty quickly which causes it to backfire at the very end. I still find it crazy how they leaped through the most important events like it was nothing important. It genuinely felt like the climax was skipped over just so that they can end it—which is a very dumb decision to be very honest.
Another thing I find ridiculous is the fighting and martial arts scenes. They tried so hard to make it look great at first but I guess they gave up on it as the story goes on because the way it was executed on the succeeding episodes was simply terrible you won't even have to think twice to say it's really that bad. It was too evident and crystal clear like they didn't even try hiding it. Hahaha!
Lastly, I just wanna say that the way they depicted women here with resolute resolve is something I truly like. However, the execution is where it all went wrong... such scenes could have ended great and inspiring but for some reason it looked prematurely done. The power and determination is there but the lack of conviction and weak representation made it feel and look like a literal staged play—an act.
P.S. The ML (Yuan Hao) is an expert in playful-cuddly-romantic scenes. I swear! He makes my heart leap countless of beats everytime he acts like that.
Story - 8.5, It is promising and is actually good, however, the people who directed and created it is disappointing otherwise. How I wish it was handled by a better director, script writer and production company with sufficient funding.
Acting/Cast - 7.5, The acting is very inconsistent! I had to pause multiple times and mentally consider a lot of things e.g. dubbing, voice syncing and so on. Because I thought the problem may have been caused by that. But at the end of the day, none of those are the reason why I was bothered. The problem really lies on the facial expression, emotion and overall body language of the actors and actresses. Most of the time I think they do not even know how to act their scenes and were just doing the best they can do; as a result it turned out pretty awkward and bad. Yuan Hao did great though!
Music - 9.5, Music is Good. There's this one song they used I believe on Ep.8 that I can't find the tittle of which I really love and I will surely hunt that one down. For sure!
Rewatch Value - 8.0, It was not that bad for me not to rewatch it. I would say it's worth my time and as I mentioned, is a potentially promising production and could have been more, with better team working for it.
Overall - 8.5, I contemplated so much with this rating. I was set to give it a 9.0 - 9.5 however the unexpected ending made me retract on how I feel about this drama. I understand that they lack the resources and all but I cannot accept that they chose to off screen most of the exciting scenes and eventually ruling all the commotions they have started from the very beginning to a draw. Like, did you all just wasted your entire effort from the very beginning for nothing? Hahaha!

The miniatures were more intricate and had more detail than other Godzilla movies. This movie did a good job of interspersing people with the miniatures to give us a vested interest in their lives and sorrow when an unforgiving monster sent them to their doom. When Godzilla unleashed his atomic breath, the results were tragic and all too real whether it be on humans or property. As the citizens and military waited for Godzilla’s arrival, the tension was palpable. The carnage was unflinchingly shown as Godzilla cut through the city with his slow, unmerciful gait.
Dr. Serizawa, played by Hirata Akihiko, had developed his own terrifying weapon and refused to use it for fear it would fall into the wrong hands. Ultimately, he had to decide whether to deploy his weapon to stop the immediate destruction being rained down on his country or to withhold it for fear of unimaginable destruction that could take place if people were to use it as a weapon against other people.
The movie is not perfect, there is a love triangle even in Godzilla. The story can bounce around. The acting style is dated, but didn’t distract from the actors expressing the emotions the characters were feeling. The special effects were exemplary for 1954, viewers expecting spectacular CGI will be disappointed.
Whether conveying the urgency of people fleeing or ominously announcing the arrival of Godzilla, Ifukube Akira’s score was spot on.
My rating reflects how I rate movies and dramas. Only my first love in a particular genre receives a 10, the one that all other movies in that genre will be judged against. Godzilla who meshes the prehistoric with the modern and forces us to look back on the consequences of society’s actions is far deeper than a giant lizard destroying a city. Thus far, no other Kaiju has measured up to the original Godzilla’s standard.

When I started watching this show I was quite hooked into it because it was mysterious, 2 worlds merging, random guy appearing from the forest y'know? But then as I continued felt like the overall drama was made too long with unnecessary episodes and lots of things didn't make sense in it. Story: "My Mowgli Boy" is about a celebrity named Ling Xi who one day accidentally brings home a wild man who she later named Mo Geli. Mo Geli becomes an important part of her life and supports her through the high and lows.
I think that the plot of the drama is a really good idea because it's so mysterious. It might just be me but as I got around the middle of the drama, I started getting tired of the main couple, maybe because there wasn't enough happening around them because the scenes of them are usually just talking. Due to that I started getting more and more interested in the support couples Tang Cheng and Lu Ziyue, and Chu Shi and Ling Yu. Tang Cheng and Lu Ziyue were my favourite couple because their scenes were actually interesting, they are 2 different people and with very different interests and personalities but still managed so get together, and Chu Shi and Ling Yu seemed like forbidden love because they have to be pulled apart by Ling Yu's family problems. Overall Ling Yu's life seems to be really complicated and sad.
I really didn't like Mo Geli as a character, because he always seems to not trust Ling Xi enough even though she has said that she would really like to share the happy and sad with him. Mo Geli is always disappearing and is always leaving Ling Xi disappointed.
The ending was honestly what disappointed me the most because the last episodes (50) honestly wasn't explaining what was happening clearly. Once again, Mo Geli disappears without a word while Ling Xi is stuck worrying. I was getting really annoyed at Mo Geli by this point, Ling Xi has already said that she wants to solve his problems with him instead of him not telling her and solving it all by himself. At the end I had no idea what was happening, Ling Xi is just by the river when suddenly Mo Geli appears in front of her with the ring. Even now I have no idea if that was Ling Xi's imagination or if he was really there.
Acting/Cast:
The cast was chosen really well because all the actors seemed to have a appearance similar to their character personalities. Yang Zi really hit me emotionally when she cried, she always performs her character so well. I felt that Ma Tianyu was a little bit stiff at first but then he warmed up in the end.
Music:
The music was alright.
Rewatch value:
I personally think that the drama is too long with to much unnecessary so I don't think I will rewatch it. Plus the drama didn't make any sense in the end and I still don't know if Mo Geli came back or not because it could just be Ling Xi's imagination.
Overall, I think that the plots with the other characters were quite interesting, while the lead couple was confusing. I hope Ling Xi and Mo Geli did get together at the end, but judging by how Mo Geli is always disappearing with unexplained reasons, probably not.

What attracted me most here is the plot. Of ghost wandering around finding her true identity. I am used to watch sageuks in a very SERIOUS manner and I think this gives a fresh plot to those who doesn't watch sageuks too much. So, in Joseon period, there are people around who can see what other people doesn't normally see, is another plus for me. I think, this kind of thing is a bit taboo since it was in the Joseon era. That kind of plot wasn't fully explored, until this drama came out.
My curiuosity to Lee Joon-gi lead me to prove me that HE is one of the best actors out there. He bought balance to the story and did "enough" for his role. I know he can play the character better, but I think the story just asks for that much, and its a good thing he played it just way iot should.
SHIN MIN-AH is did a very good job here, specially the stunts in Episode 1, and she immersed herself in the role perfectly. She made me laugh, and she made me cry. That's more than enough for me to commend her in this drama.
The only character that balances everything here is Yoo Seung-ho. Besides looking beautiful, he did a fairly good job on being the one who knows the faith of two characters.
I didn't find any lame characrter here. Every character is important for the story be effective. GOOD JOB!!!!!! :)

Charming Comedy with likable leads and wonderful acting
Our story begins with a murder. A young bride (Xia Yubing) is force-fed poison on her wedding night, the groom (Xu Zi Yan) justifying the action by saying she had framed his beloved (Xia Liu Qing) and someone that evil deserves death. We learn Yubing was tricked into framing Liu Qing and that she really isn't villainous at heart. The tale is then jolted from the past to the present where we learn Yubing and Zi Yan are both characters in a comic by a newbie author and her editor isn't pleased with a story about a stupid girl and a heartless hero. The author swears she will do better next go around and after a few edits turns Yubing into the female lead and a good character in the story, with Zi Yan an eager young doctor wanting to force-feed her medicine in order to save her from a rare but deadly disease. In spite of that somewhat confusing set up this is an easy-to-follow rom-com that (almost) never forgets its a comedy. I laughed during most of the episodes, even during what would typically be "dark" moments like an execution or torture. The story's emphasis is less on plot than it is on relationship building. Yubing turns out to be a savvy businesswoman with a lovely, warm heart. Not only do she and Zi Yan wind up having a wonderful romance but Yubing also establishes a terrific connection with her sister Liu Qing, Zi Yan's bestie Ye Wen, and with Zi Yan's father Xu Guang Ling. Yubing is a positive presence in all their lives as she helps to create a better family/friend situation for herself/those around her and a more cooperative and caring business environment for her community. If you like feel-good stories, this is definitely a show you'll enjoy.
The acting is excellent and the chemistry between our leads is fantastic.
Few things are perfect, however, and this is no exception. The story gave way too much time to the villain, which caused it to drag in parts. The ending, while happy, is a touch incomplete. The character of Gu Gu/NPC was fabulous and excellently portrayed but I could have done with less of the author, especially in the final episode. All that said, this is easily my favorite Chinese rom-com.

I am not saying this drama was perfect...but it was good! It did its job. I was caught off guard, captivated, intrigued, I laughed, cried and most important did not lose interest.
I ask myself why?? does this drama have little or no recognition. My personal opinion only but I think sometimes cast, latest technologies to create beautiful scenery etc., and mood and trends of that particular time dictate popularity over substance. Popularity lessens as the drama gets older for most. This drama seemed even older than when it was released in 2008. I believe more people would rather not watch simply because its considered to old to relate to. All dramas have the same goal to keep people watching no matter what reason. If your reason to watch dramas is simply to watch your kpop idol or the latest styles and outfits without care of substance than just skip this drama.
I recommend this simply because it was good.
OST was a definite plus!

The story/plot was okay, nothing big. The ending doesn't even make sense. All the fighting scenes on the last episode was super fake. So basically, this drama was quite disappointing. This review had to be at least 500 words, but I have nothing else to say besides, this drama was quite disappointing. The ending like everybody else says "WTF was that" it wasn't even like a bad ending it literally just didn't make any type of sense. ***SPOILER ALERT***---- vin zhang(chen yu) jumped down the well which caused to his death...obviously. However at the very end of the last episode he appears?? How does that even make any sense. On top of that the drama didn't even bother to explain how he managed to survive. Then I thought, maybe this is the drama's way of repaying me for sticking around for the slow burn romance. The drama is compensating me for putting me through the emotional roller coaster of their relationship. It's giving me the cute fluffiness that I didn't get enough in the full-length drama.
In the end, it comes in full circle. The monologue of Han Ting describing his definition of love. The montages in reverse motion on the TV screen as we witness their love story again.
And last but not the least, Han Ting using his very last special boyfriend card. It's the perfect ending to a love story that I love so much.

"Everyone lies"
I began Regeneration knowing nothing about it and was rewarded with compelling storytelling. If you have ever watched Kurosawa Akira’s Rashomon, you’ll find they have something in common. Never wholly trust in a witness’ testimony---"It's human to lie. Most of the time we can't even be honest with ourselves.”At a memorial for conman Fei Ke, five seemingly disparate people were brought together for the reading of the will. For reasons I will withhold, the five began to tell about their relationships with Fei Ke. Each knew him in a different manner, but most were ultimately deceived by him.
Episodes 1-6 followed a similar pattern of how Fei Ke ingratiated himself into their lives and then scammed them out of money. All of the “victims” were innocent and well meaning. From episode 7 on, the tone changed and the revelations poured out. I found the final episode overly dramatic and unfulfilling which lowered my score. A shift in the tale of revenge would also have provided better closure for me. But overall, the characters were engaging, if often unlikeable. This was the strongest performance of Jing Bo Ran’s I’ve seen which was a pleasant surprise. He had to express a wide range of emotions as each interpretation of the past played out. I hesitate to say anything else which might spoil an intriguing ride of vengeance and deception.
I’ll end with an Edgar Allan Poe quote, “Believe only half of what you see and nothing that you hear.”

Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won play average late-20s friends who have given up on pursuing their dreams because of the cost of living and the need for money. After a number of false starts and embarrassing failure, they finally find the strength to choose passion and happiness over drudgery. These two are fun and loveable leads whose strong friendship and love helps support each other through life. They're a delight to watch.
Kim Ji Won, in particular, gives Ae Ra a perfect mix of vulnerability and badass; combining hilarious aegyo and no-nonsense protectiveness to create one of the most compelling kdrama leads to date. Park Seo Joon is always a nuanced actor to watch and his brainless, hot-tempered but warm-hearted Dong Man will make you fall in love with him.
The second couple in this story are less interesting and, while their plotlines are no-less thematically important, I often lost interest when the attention switched to them. The plotting isn't perfect: there are number of disappearing characters, dropped plot lines and narrative digressions. And the show briefly falls flat when the couple first get together because of the dictates of the kdrama OTP tropes.
But none of this detracts from the enjoyment of the show. More importantly, this show ends well and doesn't suffer from the episode 14 kdrama slump. It maintains its pace to the end.
I could give this a lower rating for a number of reasons but it's such a satisfying watch that it deserves the 9/10.

Easy on the eyes, easy on the story and just no drama at all... quite wholesome.
There is not really much to say about this series. It's short, to the point and no bad drama, no bad ex gf, no bitching, no heated discussions, nothing. It's just a melow story of two couples coming together. Of course due to the constrainted playtime and I guess because of the limited budget there is no depth in the characters. All of them are pleasing to the eye and we have to guess that all of them are nice in their ways.Production quality was nice. Just the "bar" both TrueFilm and Sukfilm use is still a bit cringe :) The actors are all quite handsome or cute, they also did the job well.
So, this was quite fun to watch, quite relaxing and a nice change of pace compared to all drama series airing the last two months. You will not get frustrated, you will not get angry, you will probably just enjoy it. And that's a good thing. If you have not seen this yet, invest the 30 minutes for a wholesome expierence.

有法无天 The Rule of Law
It seems many viewers miss this wonderful series because it was released with all the episodes in one go unexpectedly. Despite its cheesy title, Miss Chun is a Litigator, this is a very enjoyable short drama with not many fillers. Every scene is important that leads to the next. The plot is not too complicated, but the background of some main characters is mysterious, creating excitement for the viewers, spurring on the story. And not to forget to mention the three gorgeous male leads, this is a great series for all.Chun Tumi (Sabrina Zhuang) is a young girl passionate about federal and local laws. From childhood, she has immersed herself in reading the law book that was written and passed down by her late mother. She becomes very well-versed with the laws. One day, she was forced to defend her father in court because no one else would. There, in court, she is noticed by two court officials appointed by the Emperor. They recognize her talent and want to recruit her. After giving her a deal she can’t resist, she becomes an important member of the judiciary team which is responsible for combing through past court cases to make sure none is being misjudged.
Unlike most other female actors who are usually cute, pretty and flamboyant, Sabrina Zhuang has a solemn demeanor that makes her a good fit for the Chun Tumi character as the character is a rather mature and serious person despite of her age. Sabrina’s acting is believable as a litigator with her matter-of-factly face and calm composure during her litigation fights. Most of the cases involve further investigations which are not shown nor explained, but Miss Chun somehow manages to present the evidence in court.
The three main male characters are amazingly good looking. The writer teases the viewers by showing seemingly all three have love interest for Chun Tumi. All three have a mysterious background which is not revealed until very much later.
The first mysterious character is the Ye Cha (Huang Junjie) character. He’s disguised as a horse footman hired by Chun Tumi. He is cold and quiet, and always hides behind a large farmer hat. He seems to have an interest in Chun Tumi as he always appears in places around her, hidden away, watching and helping her secretly. Huang Junjie’s portrayal is acceptable, but I don’t like how he squints his eyes most of the time to look serious and cold. Ye Cha is introduced right at the beginning, then disappears most of the time, or hidden lurking somewhere, until in the middle of the drama. The focus of the male character shifts to Han Wuwei (Fan Zhixin) and has been on him right from the start to the end.
Han Wuwei is my favorite character. He is a military general, playful, insightful and a very good swordsman. He has no qualm with decorum and seems to appear everywhere where Chun Tumi goes. He is the one who first notices her talent and incorporates her into his team. He seems to have a love interest in her, but puzzles viewers how the relationship later develops. His actual identity is mysterious until the later part of the story. Fan Zhixin is sunny and flamboyant and has acted very well here as Han Wuwei.
The third male character, Kang Zhengyuan (Qin Tian), is a judiciary official authorized by the Emperor to travel around the country to look through closed cases to ensure they are being done properly and justly. Qin Tian’s portrayal of the no-nonsense Kang Zhengyuan is convincing, making him a well-loved character. He and Han Wuwei give the viewers a lot of sweet bromance and it’s interesting to see the men banter.
My Verdict
This is a very enjoyable drama about the ancient judiciary system, justice, and litigation, with a mix-ins of wuxia and conspiracy from a dark group. Finding out the actual truth is important but very difficult. It is hard to distinguish between good info or fake news. Even if a truth is almost 100% truthful, a small percentage of untruth can lead to a devastating outcome. This is the scenario our characters must tread carefully to preserve justice.
Season 1 scrapes the surface of the secret group and stops short before any alluded royal palace power struggle. Though some scenes skip abruptly, it hasn’t destroyed the story or the plot. By the end of the drama, there is a plot twist and Han Wuwei seems to have turned dark. This is a cliff hanger and whets viewers’ interest for Season 2.
Great watch! Don’t miss it!
