Jiang Jun and Yuan Shuai ending up as a perfect match is of course expected and ended up very cute.. The theme song seemed extra apropos during that scene. Glad Xu Li finally walked away from the emotionally clueless Li Xiaochuan. He needed an emotional scare. A kick in the pants was needed to start paying attention to the humans around him - especially her. But it seems dubious that just this one instance is enough to truly make him a grown-up yet.

My Love Mix-Up! Episode 2

I'm guessing they made the changes to the Cinderella scene because the OG was so iconic? not complaining whoever did costuming for the show needs a big fat raise. personally I cringed at the musical scenes but I'm just not a fan of impromptu singing. which begs the question, were they seriously gonna make Matmi sing with her stage fright? smh. love the way Kongthap defends Atom yassssss lets gooooo. Again all praises to Pahn she pulls off Matmi so well. 10/10 but I need to go to bed so I'll rewatch the rest later :)

and I needed to justify this decision so I'm reviewing each episode lol. I love Fourth and Gemini such a good choice for this adaption, but we need to talk about how great Pahn is in this show! love the addition of the badminton scene. especially the little dinner scene... so cute! i'll take any extra interaction between my boys yes please! it just adds to the reasons why they slowly fall for each other. my heart !! 10/10 can't wait to rewatch the rest :)

Really don’t look so bad right now. At first they were terrible but it looks like they’ve even amount some and I think she looks cute. I don’t get peoples hate for her bangs, it’s kind of ridiculous. Also, him saying that her mother is a good mom is bullshit. She’s not a good mom. She’s way too controlling. She has zero boundaries and she doesn’t treat her daughter very well at all, giving test difference to her shit ass little brother.

I love how this series is going, I'm obsessed with the storyline with ko song and ko neung, even with Agur and Achi.

Bai Lu just kills me! That line made me spit up laughing out loud! She and Luo Yin Xi are so freaking funny on screen together! And then later the freaking Giant Red Lips bit!!!!! The show is a 10 when those two are on screen and .... sadly otherwise falls so flat whenever they are off it.

This episode was quite fun with all the "fake date" with Jun Cheng, the bed swap, and Yifei finally realising, of sorts, that he fancies Fei! 🤭

God how pathetic Du Lei is! He's come to stand like a lost puppy outside her apartment building? My god, is he 14 years old? Thank goodness she ran off to take care of YS and avoided even seeing him or she might have thrown up her breakfast. Loved her body-language running through the hospital! Why do so many modern c-dramas repeat the trope of "ML is a master cook but the FL is lousy at cooking"?? Still both of them are so good with each other that the scenes with the leads are great even when implementing a trope. Sadly the episode then devolves into some cheap situational comedy around Su Chang's relationship. Not terrible stuff. But not terribly funny either. It does lead to some great bits between the leads as they squabble over sharing her apartment. The fun thing now is we get a 'living together' plot trope! And the very, very end of the episode is pretty sweet. There are otherwise some more skippable minutes spent on the not-compelling Li Xiaochuan + Xu Li storyline.

I can't even begin to describe how this drama has made me feel. It was a complete rollercoaster of emotions, but in the best way possible. I felt for both brothers so much, and their journey was anything but easy. 😭Haixia's road was particularly tragic, starting right from the early episodes. His main goal was always to protect Hailou, leading to sacrifice after sacrifice, physical disability, self-doubt, and then hosting an evil side that slowly overtook him, ultimately ending in his death. 💔 His last words before passing away in Hailou's arms were, "I am feeling a little tired." I am tearing up just remembering that scene—his faint smile at his brother, his mouth filled with blood, and his eyes full of tears. 🥺😭Hailou's road was more about personal growth. He had to put his chaotic, troublemaker nature to one side and deal with all the challenges alone once Haixia could no longer help him. He had to become more serious and responsible, eventually becoming a great leader, and by the end, a Master himself. ✨Ding Yuxi and Zhang Xincheng played their roles brilliantly. Even though this was the first time seeing Xincheng on my screen, I am really impressed by his acting and will definitely look up some of his other works. However, Yuxi... I can't even describe how breathtaking his performance was in this drama. He had to portray such a vast range of emotions and mental states. I have always thought that playing a villain—especially when done well—is much harder than playing a hero. Once again, I can only applaud him for his amazing work, which has made me fall in love with his talent and him as an actor even more. 👏❤️This journey was unbelievable and will stay on my mind for quite some time. It is the best C-drama I have seen so far, even if I haven't watched that many yet. 10/10. 🌟🏆

You can see a steady progression forward in the relationship between Jiang Jun and Yuan Shuai, especially as she asserts her authority over his care when he needs to go to the hospital. Some really funny moments. The only thing spoiling this episode is, yes, still more gobs of screen time spend selling the sad sack sob story of Du Lei. Yes, he had some tough things happen. Yes he is probably permanently psychologically broken by the abuse of his adoptive father. But that doesn't make him a good person. And the fact is, his life is far better than billions of other people who hav had it worse and yet didn't turn out to be rotten creeps like him.

Love Has Fireworks Episode 4

This was probably my favourite episode so far. We’re finally starting to see a different side of Li Yi Fei following the breakup, and I enjoyed seeing some of the cracks in his normally calm and collected image. The more I see of him, the more green flags he collects.Qian Fei continues to have a rough time as she tries to move forward after losing both her relationship and her job. Watching her struggle through unsuccessful interviews was frustrating because she’s clearly capable, but life doesn’t seem interested in giving her an easy win right now.The biggest surprise of the episode was finding out that Li Yi Fei’s ex-girlfriend already knew he came from money. I genuinely didn’t expect that reveal. Up until now I assumed she simply chose wealth over love, but apparently she already knew exactly who she was walking away from. That revelation made her actions look even worse.Meanwhile, Qian Fei’s ex continues proving he might be one of the most annoying characters in this drama. Watching him with his new girlfriend makes it increasingly obvious that his idea of a “perfect woman” comes with a very specific bank balance attached. My favourite scene was easily the bartender friend throwing Li Yi Fei’s best friend over her shoulder after a drunken misunderstanding. I was not expecting that at all and it had me laughing.Favourite Character: Li Yi FeiFavourite Scene: The bartender friend launching the best friend over her shoulder after their misunderstanding.Biggest OMG Moment: The reveal that the ex-girlfriend already knew Li Yi Fei was wealthy.Overall, the romance is still developing at a slower pace than I’d usually prefer, but the characters continue to keep me invested. The green flags are stacking up, the exes are making increasingly questionable decisions, and I’m fully seated for whatever consequences are coming their way.Current Verdict: Not perfect, but I’m definitely sticking around to watch the exes regret everything.

Episode just barely starts and I'm already agitated and irritated. The idea that her 'friends' basically trick FL into going on a hiking / camping trip without warning is just insane, given her special health risks. And that's not even accounting for the fact that creepy stalker Du Lei is there and Yuan Shuai has no idea where they are. My god this event is already pushing so many buttons to make viewers triggered. Thank god Yuan Shuai found out about it and reeled everyone back before it became an overnight. And man, Liu Yan Xi was totally channeling his Till The End of the Moon role of Devil Lord Tantai Jin as he sat on the couch in his apartment in the half-dark when Li Xiaochuan walked in trembling! LOL! That scene saved the episode! Otherwise, this episode spends far too much time trying to sell Du Lei as somehow sympathetic and a worthy 'other love interest'. He's not. He's objectively a terrible person based on the things he has done. And we also find out that HE was involved in driving her father to his death! Far too much screen time spent dwelling on his sad-sack, I-feel-sorry-for-myself face. This episode requires constant use of the 'skip' button. Just skip to the final nice scene between the two leads at the end.

Oh, what a twist, Zhang Haixia! He's fighting, and he has been fighting all along! I hope Hailou can save him... Thanks to Haiqi's black-furred snake and the snake man for all the important memories! 🙏"You can control my body. But you can't control my mind. I'll do everything I can to destroy you. Otherwise, I'm just a criminal." — our Shrimpie to Dark Haixia. 🥺

We're getting reveals in dribs and drabs, although the missing decree revealed in Court was huge. It makes so much sense why Consort Dowager Qin left when she did. Everything is about to blow up and she doesn't want to be collateral damage. The Court machinations are insane and no one's hands seems to be clean.

I did not expect him to burn the wrapper and so effectively pierce her heart.😭💔 That incident followed by a divorce decree gave her no reason to hope. The prefecture had every reason to want to celebrate after case finished and promotions along with bonuses passed out. Prince Ding is far from being in the mood and only his guard knows why. Ye Li went back the way she came with her two favorite people in her heart. She is devestated that Xiu Yao was not by her side but thought he wanted it that way. She had no way to convince him her love was not simply charity returning a debt. I wish we could have seen what her letter to him said. It will probably be a flashback later. He joins his colleagues and tries to drink his pain away. He brings her back her favorite food and sweets to apologize, but she’s long gone. He wakes up and finds every letter but his and goes to FeiBai who berates him for sending her back to a desolate mountain. Xiu Yao now looks like he’s aged two decades with the grey hair. His talk with Fei Bai makes him request a meeting with the emperor to relinquish his post. Since he is such a meticulous person, he already had capable replacements lined up when he asked for indefinite leave time from the palace. He is quite candid as to why but the Emperor doubts his motives. For once Empress Dowager is helpful for the right reasons. She wants to know what happened to Lishan and this gives her a good reason to find out. She has sent her spoiled eunuch to accompany them. He is already whining about the food.😝🙄She has granted Prince Ding the authority and position to gain entrance to the school. We know what he will find. What we don’t know is what happened and how she survived it all. I am grateful they did not wait 4 episodes to get to this point but went directly to resolving the misunderstandings. Tomorrow we will get to see how Ye Li is doing. The eunuch will probably whine about the lack of accommodations.😝🙄
